Claims (8)
- 間接的インクジェット印刷により生成されるインクドット構築物であって、前記構築物は、
(a)非被覆繊維性印刷基板および汎用被覆繊維性印刷基板からなる群から選択される第一繊維性印刷基板と、
(b)複数の連続インクドットであって、前記インクドットの各々は、前記第一繊維性印刷基板の上面に固定して接着され、前記インクドットは、有機高分子樹脂中に分散される少なくとも1つの着色料を含有し、前記インクドットの各々は、前記第一繊維性印刷基板の上面の連続区域を被覆する、インクドットと、
を含み、
前記インクドットの各々が前記連続区域の完全に上に配置され、それにより、前記第一繊維性印刷基板の上面の方に下って延びる突出垂直線が、前記第一繊維性印刷基板の上面とぶつかる前に、前記連続区域におけるすべての点で、先ず前記インクドットとぶつかり、
前記インクドットの各々が15乃至300マイクロメートルの直径を有し、
前記インクドットの各々が1,200nm以下の平均厚または特徴的厚みを有し、
前記インクドットの各々が、Raspect=Ddot/Hdotにより定義される無次元アスペクト比(Raspect)により特性化され、式中、Ddotは前記直径であり、Hdotは前記平均厚であり、
前記アスペクト比が少なくとも60であり、
前記インクドットの各々が、中間転写成員上にインクの小滴を向けることにより生成され、前記インクが、水性担体中の有機高分子樹脂および着色料を含み、前記中間転写成員上に乾燥インクドットを生成するように前記水性担体を蒸発させ、結果として得られた乾燥インクドットを前記中間転写成員から前記第一繊維性印刷基板の上面上へ転写する、インクドット構築物。 - 前記インクドットが、50℃以下のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する、請求項1に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記第一繊維性印刷基板が汎用被覆繊維性印刷基板である、請求項1または2に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記厚みが1,000nm以下である、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記厚みが650nm以下である、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記インクドットが、少なくとも60重量%の前記樹脂を含有する、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記インクドット内の前記樹脂対前記着色料の重量比が、少なくとも1.5:1である、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のインクドット構築物。
- 前記アスペクト比が少なくとも75である、請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のインクドット構築物。
