背景技术
毛发和其它类似物质可能变为包裹在机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的末端周围,从而变为 缠结在毛刷的末端(例如,轴承和驱动突出部周围)和/或驱动毛刷以相对于清洁头隔室旋 转的齿轮箱中。此缠结可使机器人真空吸尘器停工,使清洁较低效,或造成其它不合意的事件。
轴护挡或端盖可邻近于每一毛刷的一个或一个以上末端而提供,以免毛发和类似物 质到达毛刷末端从而缠结在毛刷的末端和/或齿轮箱中。然而,当前在机器人真空吸尘器 中采用的轴护挡和端盖可能未充分地防止毛发和类似物质缠结在毛刷的末端和/或齿轮 箱中。因此,采用已知轴护挡和端盖的机器人真空吸尘器可能仍然会由于缠结问题而停工。
发明内容

一些机器人真空吸尘器包含清洁头子系统,所述清洁头子系统提供用于机器人真空 吸尘器的清洁机构且包括毛刷组合件,所述毛刷组合件包含主毛刷和挡板毛刷,如第7,636,982号美国专利中所说明,所述专利的揭示内容的全文以引用方式并入本文。主毛刷和挡板毛刷可安装在清洁头隔室中的凹座上。每一主毛刷和挡板毛刷可包括中心部件(例如,机架),其具有第一和第二末端经配置以将毛刷安装在清洁头隔室中。毛刷/挡板 的一个末端安装到清洁头隔室的齿轮箱或驱动侧,且毛刷/挡板的另一末端可包括轴承, 从而允许毛刷在安装到清洁头的相对端时实质上自由地旋转。

图5说明护罩的另一实施例,所述护罩可根据本发明的教示使用以覆盖清洁头子系 统的主毛刷和挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的至少轴承端。在图5中,护罩78展示为 覆盖挡板毛刷60的轴承端14。挡板毛刷60包含例如具有包覆模制件的挡板轴杆62。 护罩78优选地不附接到毛刷60,且因此可在毛刷60旋转的同时保持静止。所说明的护 罩78可视情况包含整体地模制或形成的轴承16以减少清洁头子系统的部分的总数。然 而,轴承16无需整体地模制或形成于护罩78中,且可提供为单独的零件。轴承16允 许毛刷轴杆64在安装到清洁头隔室中时实质上自由地旋转。如果整体地模制或形成的 轴承16与护罩78一起使用,那么毛刷60的轴(或轴杆)64插入于护罩/轴承的孔隙中。 当轴承60与护罩78单独地提供时,可将毛刷轴杆64插入于轴承60中,且随后可将轴 承60插入于护罩78中,或可在将轴杆64插入于轴承60中之前将轴承60插入于护罩 78中。
轴杆外壳70可围绕邻近于毛刷60的至少轴承端14的轴(或轴杆)64,且包含第一凸缘72和第二凸缘74,凹入区域73位于其间。相对较大的间隙68形成于轴杆外壳70的 第一凸缘72与护罩78的邻近内表面之间。此间隙68可允许毛发和类似物质进入轴杆 外壳70的位于第一凸缘72与第二凸缘74之间的凹入区域73,从而在凹入区域73处提 供用于收集毛发和类似物质的位置,在所述位置处,毛发和类似物质不会使机器人真空 吸尘器停止工作。在轴杆外壳72的外表面与护罩78的互补内表面之间的从大间隙68 到凹入区域73的短迂回通路34提供在轴杆外壳72的大外径处的短通路。通路34的短 的长度通过在任何毛发或类似物质进入护罩中的情况下使毛发和其它物质被卡住的可 能性最小化而确保需要最小扭矩,如上所述。轴杆外壳盖70包含从第二凸缘74延伸到 在护罩78内部的凹座79中的突出部76。由于从间隙68进入凹入区域73且环绕突出部 79而进入凹座79中的通路长且难行,所以提供对轴承16的额外保护。
图6说明用以覆盖清洁头子系统的主毛刷和挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的至少轴 承端的护罩的替代实施例。轴承16、护罩78和轴或轴杆64的结构类似于图5中所揭示 的结构。在图6中,提供包含套筒和护挡72'的轴杆外壳70'。护挡72'从轴杆外壳70'的 套筒部分朝向护罩78延伸。护罩78包含平行于轴杆64而延伸的第一壁120、大体垂直 于第一壁120而延伸的第二壁122、大体垂直于第二壁122而延伸的第三壁124,以及 大体垂直于第三壁124而延伸的第四壁126。凹座68形成于护挡72'与毛刷60之间。毛 发收集于挡板毛刷60与护挡72'之间,且提供屏障,所述屏障防止毛发一旦出现初始堆 积就进入护罩78中。在护挡72'与在第一壁120处的护罩78内部之间、从凹座68到储 集器40"而形成迂回通路34。储集器40"经由迂回通路34接收毛发且相对较大,界定于 护罩78的第一壁120的一部分、第二壁122、第三壁124与第四壁126之间。储集器 40"提供用于收集毛发和其它物质的位置。
所属领域的技术人员将了解,如图1-4或图5和6中所说明的护罩可以类似的方式使用于根据本发明的教示的主毛刷或挡板毛刷中的一者或一者以上的驱动端上。
图7A和7B分别是根据本发明的教示的机器人真空吸尘器的毛刷的驱动端部分和轴 承端部分的至少一个实施例的剖面图。一般来说,优选的是将毛发和其它物质收集在毛刷的轴承端(参看图7B)中,而不是将其馈送到毛刷的驱动端的齿轮箱中(参看图7A)。因此,在优选实施例中,图7A中所示的驱动端部分包含展示为具有护挡(例如,图2和3 中的护挡52或52’)的护罩的实施例,而图7B中所示的轴承端部分包含仅具有套筒(例 如,图4中的套筒50”)的实施例。因为护挡的添加为齿轮箱提供了额外保护且轴承端不 包含护挡,因此,在此实施例中,毛发和其它物质倾向于迁移远离驱动端(图7A)且朝向 轴承端(图7B),其优选用以避免齿轮箱故障且将毛发和其它物质引导到用户能够在其处 清洁毛刷的末端。因为轴承端优选不包含护挡,所以更多的毛发和其它物质倾向于迁移 到轴承端中且被收集于轴承端中的储集器中。
毛刷的驱动端包含具有齿轮82的齿轮箱81。护罩83围绕毛刷的驱动端,且在驱动端处并入到齿轮箱81中(举例来说,参看图16)。连续固定的护罩外壳允许毛刷在固定 护罩内的全360度旋转。因为护罩表面中的中断提升了对毛发的捉取,所以齿轮箱外壳 优选在护罩表面中的中断内具有单一连续的护罩。
图8A是根据本发明的教示的包含保持装置的与清洁头的驱动齿轮连接的毛刷的驱 动端部分的透视剖面图,且图8B是根据本发明的教示的图8A的保持装置的透视图。在图8A中,保持装置80展示为收容于毛刷10的机架24内。虽然将保持装置80展示为 附接到主毛刷10,但所属领域的技术人员将理解,保持装置还可与挡板毛刷一起利用。 保持装置80定位在圆形凸缘30与齿轮82之间以将毛刷锁定到齿轮82。具有从套筒50”’ 延伸的护挡52”的套筒50”’可提供于圆形凸缘30与齿轮82之间。
保持装置80可为(例如)能够保持到齿轮82的内部搭扣装置。保持装置80可包含多个互锁部件84,当保持装置80处于啮合位置中时,多个互锁部件84延伸远离机架24。 保持装置80在内部安置于套筒50”'与护挡52”之间,且被接纳在驱动突出部86内。当 将驱动突出部86插入到齿轮82的主凹座中时(还是参看图17中的齿轮120),互锁部件 84各自被接纳在齿轮82的内部内的接纳凹座128中。保持装置80限制毛刷10朝向其 轴承端的轴向运动,其通过减小毛刷的驱动端处的间隙而减少毛发和碎屑进入所述驱动 端的能力。
举例来说,驱动突出部86可啮合齿轮凹座,例如图16和17中所示的齿轮120的 齿轮凹座122,其安置于包含护罩部分的护罩头114内,例如用于主毛刷10和护罩部分 的护罩115,例如用于挡板毛刷60的护罩117,如图16中所示。当图17中所示的齿轮 120(且在图8A中类似地展示为齿轮82)(其与主毛刷10一起使用)说明为与保持装置80 连接时,所属领域的技术人员可理解,保持装置80还可或替代地与挡板毛刷60一起使 用且因此可与齿轮124一起使用,齿轮124与护罩117啮合且具有齿轮凹座126。
另外,虽然将保持装置80展示为收容于毛刷机架24内,其中互锁部件84是由齿 轮82内的接纳凹座128保持,但所属领域的技术人员将认识到,保持装置可替代地提 供于齿轮82处,其中对应的接纳凹座位于毛刷机架24处以保持于毛刷末端处。
本发明的教示的某些实施例预期提供以上示范性实施例中所陈述的毛刷的带护罩 末端,所述带护罩末端具有允许其与现有的清洁头向后相容的大小和形状。图9展示带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(右边)的大小和形状可如何设计成与现有的非带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(左边)类似,以用于与主毛刷的轴承端安装到其中的现有清洁头向后相容,应注意第 三壁和第四壁(例如,图1中所示的壁48和49)。
图10A展示带护罩主毛刷的轴承端(右边)的实施例,其具有改善的抗毛发特性,但其不与现有的清洁头向后相容,因为其不具有与现有的主毛刷轴承端(左边)相同的大小和形状。可类似于图1中的护罩12的护罩例如较大,因为毛刷护挡包含具有大直径的 非可移除护挡26(且任选地具有第一突出部90和第二突出部92两者以用于与护挡的第 二凹座啮合以形成额外的曲径),如图10B中所说明。替代性实施例可包含(例如)具有第 三壁和第四壁(例如,图2中的壁55和57)的护罩,所述第三壁和第四壁的大小经设计 以界定比图9中所示的第三壁和第四壁相对大的直径。
图11A展示现有的主毛刷的驱动端,图11B展示根据本发明的教示的主毛刷的驱动端的实施例,且图11C展示根据本发明的教示的主毛刷的驱动端的另一实施例。如图所 示,所述毛刷的驱动端可包含驱动突出部96(例如,正方形驱动突出部),以用于与清洁 头隔室的毛刷驱动机构的互补凹座122(图17中所示)啮合。如图11A中所说明的可移除 护挡94或端盖可提供于图11A中所说明或图11B的实施例中的现有的毛刷驱动端中的 正方形驱动突出部96与毛刷机架24之间。图11B的实施例可允许可移除端盖与机架24 的圆形凸缘30之间的更宽的凹入区域,从而为毛发和类似物质的收集提供更大的区域, 其中其将不中止机器人真空吸尘器。
图11C展示根据本发明的教示的包含非可移除护挡98的真空吸尘器毛刷的实施例, 非可移除护挡98在其外部周边处具有突出唇缘,且在非可移除护挡98与机架24的圆形凸缘30之间形成较宽的凹入区域,从而为毛发和类似物质的收集提供更大的区域, 其中其将不中止机器人真空吸尘器。归因于所说明的非可移除护挡的直径,此毛刷实施 例可不与现有的清洁头向后相容。
图12A是对应于上文所论述的图8A的现有的机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的驱动端部分的正面透视图,且图12B是根据本发明的教示的机器人真空吸尘器毛刷的驱动端部分的 实施例的正面透视图。图12A中所示的现有毛刷包含可移除护挡94和正方形驱动突出 部96。相比而言,图12B中所示的根据本发明的教示的毛刷包含非可移除套筒(图12A 中不可见),所述非可移除套筒具有从其延伸的护挡99。可经由所说明的驱动端突出部 86中的空隙看到保持装置80。

图14A说明挡板毛刷的现有轴承端。轴承16展示为被拆卸,但可插入在轴或轴杆上且位于挡板毛刷60的末端零件100的凹座内。图14B说明挡板末端零件的实施例, 其可类似于根据本发明的教示的图5和6中所示的轴杆外壳70或70’,与相对于图5和 6以剖面展示且论述的实施例类似或相同,包含与护罩(例如,图5和6中的护罩78或 78’)一体模制或形成的轴承16。图14C提供挡板毛刷的现有轴承端(顶部)与图11B的实 施例(底部)之间的比较,其展示辅助护挡(例如,图5中所示的辅助护挡74)的较小大小, 但展示主护挡72与辅助护挡74之间的较大的储集器(例如,图5中所示的凹入区域73 或图6中所示的储集器40”),以保存已进入护罩内部的毛发和类似物质。
如上文所述,本发明的教示的某些实施例预期为挡板毛刷的驱动端或挡板毛刷驱动 端的增加的储集器大小提供的护罩。
图15说明用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头子系统,其具有根据本发明的教示的各种实施例而配置的末端的毛刷。图15说明具有支承端112和驱动端113的清洁头隔室 110,其中主毛刷10和挡板毛刷60安装于其中,主毛刷10和挡板毛刷60的支承端112 根据本发明的教示带护罩,且毛刷的驱动端113在齿轮箱81处具备带护罩齿轮箱外壳 114。所属领域的技术人员将理解,上文所描述的实施例中的任一者均可安装于清洁头 隔室110内。包含齿轮箱81的带护罩齿轮箱外壳114可与清洁头隔室110脱离,以使 得(例如)带护罩齿轮箱可能够与清洁头隔室110分开制造。
另外,如图15中所示,主毛刷110可包含两组刚毛130、132。第一组刚毛130可 具有比第二组刚毛132相对大的直径。可提供更多的第二组刚毛132,其归因于增加的 刚毛数目而提供更多的地板接触。提供两种刚毛直径类型以能够拾起不同类型的材料。 在一实施例中,可提供约70%的第二组刚毛,而可提供约30%的第一组刚毛。所属领域 的技术人员将理解,所述百分比可为可变的。另外,第一组刚毛130可具有0.2mm的 直径,而第二组刚毛可具有0.1mm的直径。
图16是根据本发明的教示的某些实施例的用于在机器人真空吸尘器清洁头隔室的 驱动端上使用的带护罩齿轮箱外壳114的示范性实施例的正面透视图。通过使用所说明的实施例,护罩可位于齿轮箱上,而不是与其啮合以被驱动的挡板毛刷的驱动端上。带 护罩齿轮箱外壳114的部分剖面可在图7A中看到,且包含位于主毛刷驱动凹座116的 周围的护罩115以及位于挡板毛刷驱动凹座118周围的护罩117。如图16中所见,举例 来说,多个接纳凹座128可安置于齿轮内,以使得所述齿轮能够保持保持装置80。
图17是根据本发明的教示的用于主毛刷和挡板毛刷的齿轮的俯视图。图17展示可类似于图8A的齿轮82的用于主毛刷的齿轮120的示范性实施例,以及用于挡板毛刷的 齿轮124的示范性实施例。主毛刷齿轮120包含齿轮凹座122,且挡板毛刷齿轮124包 含齿轮凹座126。主毛刷齿轮凹座122比挡板毛刷齿轮凹座126相对大,因为用于主毛 刷的驱动突出部包含保持装置,其增加了待接纳到齿轮凹座122中的驱动突出部的大小。 虽然展示且描述为包含保持装置80以作为主毛刷10的部分且接纳于主毛刷齿轮122中, 但所属领域的技术人员将理解,挡板毛刷可另外或替代地包含保持装置80,且挡板毛刷 齿轮124的凹座126可在此情况下归因于包含保持装置80的驱动突出部的增加的大小 而具有增加的大小。如上文所论述,可在齿轮凹座122内提供多个接纳凹座128以便能 够保持保持装置80的互锁部件84。
图18是(例如)图7A中所示的经脱离的带护罩齿轮箱的剖面图。带护罩齿轮箱114包含位于主毛刷驱动凹座116周围的护罩115以及位于挡板毛刷驱动凹座118周围的护 罩117。
图19A是现有电动机的透视图,且图19B是现有电动机的剖面图。图20A是根据 本发明的教示的带护罩电动机的透视图,且图20B是根据本发明的教示的带护罩电动机 的剖面图。图20B中所示的电动机包含与齿轮箱外壳142啮合的护罩140,其中轴杆146 延伸穿过齿轮箱外壳142。凹入收集区域144提供于护罩140的内部内,且另外能够在 毛发和其它物质能够迁移到电动机之前收集所述毛发和其它物质。图21是用于图20A 和20B中所示的电动机的护罩140的外部透视图。
通过考虑本文中所揭示的教示的说明书和实践,所属领域的技术人员将明白本发明 的教示的其它实施例。举例来说,本发明的教示适用于具有单一毛刷或具有根据本发明的教示的结构的单一毛刷的机器人真空吸尘器,且适用于具有两个以上毛刷的机器人真空吸尘器。另外,本发明的教示一般适用于经配置以从地板提升碎屑的用于机器人真空 吸尘器的旋转清洁元件。所述旋转清洁元件可包含毛刷、挡板或类似装置。期望说明书 和实例仅被视为示范性的,且由所附权利要求书指示本发明的教示的真实范围和精神。
Claims (14)
1.一种用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头子系统,所述清洁头子系统包括:
清洁头隔室;
清洁元件组合件,其安置于所述清洁头隔室内,所述清洁元件组合件包含毛刷;
齿轮箱,其包括用以驱动所述毛刷的毛刷驱动齿轮;以及
护罩,其围绕所述毛刷驱动齿轮,所述护罩包括:
第一壁,其安置为大体上平行于中心部件的中心轴;
第二壁,其大体上垂直于所述第一壁而延伸;
第三壁,其大体上垂直于所述第二壁而延伸;以及
第四壁,其大体上垂直于所述第三壁而延伸,所述第一壁、第二壁、第三壁和第四壁界定所述护罩的内部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的清洁头子系统,其进一步包括护挡,所述护挡从所述套筒向外延伸进入所述护罩的内部壁,所述护挡将所述护罩的内部空间分隔为沿所述纵向轴隔开的第一储集器和第二储集器。
3.根据权利要求2所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述圆形凸缘、所述护挡以及所述护罩界定所述第一储集器。
4.根据权利要求3所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述第一储集器界定于所述圆形凸缘、所述护罩的所述第一壁、所述护罩的所述第二壁、所述护罩的所述第三壁的一部分、所述护挡以及所述套筒之间。
5.根据权利要求2所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述圆形凸缘、所述护罩的所述第一壁、所述护罩的所述第二壁以及所述套筒界定所述第二储集器。
6.根据权利要求2所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述中心部件包括安置在所述驱动端部分和所述轴承端部分之间的毛刷机架,所述毛刷机架和所述轴承端部分的所述圆形凸缘界定凹座,所述护罩的所述第一壁延伸越过所述凹座。
7.根据权利要求6所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述轴承端界定在所述圆形凸缘的外径处的位于所述凹座与所述储集器之间的曲径通路。
8.根据权利要求7所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述凹座和所述第一储集器界定在所述圆形凸缘的外径处的第一曲径通路。
9.根据权利要求8所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述第一储集器和所述第二储集器界定在所述护挡的外径处的第二曲径通路。
10.一种用于机器人真空吸尘器的清洁头子系统,所述清洁头子系统包括:
清洁头隔室;
清洁元件组合件,其安置于所述清洁头隔室内,所述清洁元件组合件包含主毛刷和挡板毛刷;以及
齿轮箱,其包括用以驱动所述主毛刷的主毛刷驱动齿轮、用以驱动所述挡板毛刷的挡板毛刷驱动齿轮,以及经配置以围绕所述主毛刷驱动齿轮和所述挡板毛刷驱动齿轮中的至少一者的第一护罩;
其中所述护罩包括:
第一壁,其安置为大体上平行于中心部件的中心轴;
第二壁,其大体上垂直于所述第一壁而延伸;
第三壁,其大体上垂直于所述第二壁而延伸;以及
第四壁,其大体上垂直于所述第三壁而延伸,所述第一壁、第二壁、第三壁和第四壁界定所述护罩的内部。
11.根据权利要求10所述的清洁头子系统,其进一步包括第二护罩,所述第二护罩经配置以围绕所述主毛刷驱动齿轮和所述挡板毛刷驱动齿轮中的另一者。
12.根据权利要求11所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述第一护罩在所述主毛刷的经安装位置中安置于所述主毛刷的驱动端上方,且所述第二护罩在所述挡板毛刷的经安装位置中安置于所述挡板毛刷的驱动端上方。
13.根据权利要求10所述的清洁头子系统,其进一步包括:
用以驱动所述齿轮箱的电动机;以及
在所述电动机与所述齿轮箱之间延伸的第三护罩。
14.根据权利要求13所述的清洁头子系统,其中所述第三护罩与齿轮箱外壳协作以产生用于毛发和类似物质的凹入收集区域。
