弹性均化提供配合的部件之间的(多个)接口的弹性变形,其中均化变形提供精确对准,制造位置偏差被最小化至由Xmin =X/√N限定的Xmin,其中,X为配合部件的定位特征的制造位置偏差,N为插入的特征的数量。为了获得弹性均化,能弹性变形的部件构造成具有至少一个特征及其(多个)接触表面,该至少一个特征及其(多个)接触表面被过约束并提供与另一个部件的配合特征及其(多个)接触表面的干涉配合。过约束条件和干涉配合将至少一个特征或配合特征、或这两种特征中的至少一个有回弹力地可逆地(弹性地)变形。部件的这些特征的有回弹力地可逆性质允许部件的重复插入和撤出,这有利于所述部件的组装和拆卸。在一些实施例中,构造成具有本文所公开的所述至少一个特征和相关联的配合特征的能弹性变形的部件可能需要多于一个这样的特征,具体取决于特定实施例的要求。部件的位置偏差可导致施加在接触表面的区域上的不同的力,在干涉条件下,所述接触表面在部件的插入期间被过约束并接合。应当理解,单个插入部件可相对于该部件的周边长度而被弹性均化。弹性均化的原理详细描述于共同拥有的、共同待审的美国专利申请号13/187,675(现在为美国专利公布号U.S. 2013-0019455)中,其公开内容以引用方式全文并入本文中。以上所公开的实施例提供了将现有部件转化成确实有利于弹性均化和与之相关联的有益效果的组件的能力,该现有部件与上述的弹性均化原理不兼容或将通过包括如本文所公开的双向或四向弹性均化对准(或对准和保持)系统来进一步得到帮助。
任何合适的能弹性变形的材料都可用于本文所公开的和以下进一步讨论的配合部件和对准特征,特别是在形成为本文所述的特征时能弹性变形的那些材料。该材料包括各种金属、聚合物、陶瓷、无机材料或玻璃、或任何前述材料的复合物、或适用于本文所公开的目的的它们的任何其它组合。可以设想包括各种填充的聚合物的许多复合材料,所述填充的聚合物包括玻璃、陶瓷、金属和无机材料填充的聚合物,特别是玻璃、金属、陶瓷、无机或碳纤维填充的聚合物。可采用任何合适的填料形态,包括所有形状和尺寸的颗粒物或纤维。更具体地讲,可使用任何合适类型的纤维,包括连续的和不连续的纤维、织造的和非织造的布料、毡或丝束、或它们的组合。可使用任何材料的材料,包括各种等级和合金的钢、铸铁、铝、镁或钛、或它们的复合物、或它们的任何其它组合。聚合物可包括热塑性聚合物或热固性聚合物两者、或它们的复合物、或它们的任何其它组合,包括各种共聚物和共混聚合物。在一个实施例中,优选的塑性材料是具有弹性性能以便弹性变形而不断裂的塑性材料,例如,包括丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)聚合物、并且更具体地讲聚碳酸酯ABS共混聚合物(PC/ABS)的材料。该材料可呈任何形式并且由任何合适的工艺形成或制造,包括冲压的或成形的金属、复合物或其它片材、锻件、挤出零件、压制零件、铸件、或模制零件等,以包括本文所述的能变形特征。能弹性变形的对准特征和相关联的部件可以以任何合适的方式形成。例如,能弹性变形的对准特征和相关联的部件可一体地形成,或者它们可完全独立地形成并随后附接到一起。当一体地形成时,它们可由例如塑料注模机形成为单一部件。当单独地形成时,它们可由例如不同的材料形成以提供预定的弹性响应特性。可选择一种或多种材料以提供能弹性变形的对准特征、相关联的部件或配合部件中的任一种或全部的预定的弹性响应特性。预定的弹性响应特性可包括例如预定的弹性模量。
如本文所使用的,术语车辆不仅限于汽车、卡车、厢式货车或运动型多功能车,而且包括任何适用于运输重物的自推进或拖拽运输工具。
根据本发明的一个示例性实施例,并且参照图1,弹性均化的对准系统10包括第一部件100和第二部件200,第一部件100具有第一对准构件102和相对于第一对准构件102固定地设置的能弹性变形的对准元件104,第二部件200具有第二对准构件202和相对于第二对准构件202固定地设置的对准孔口204。在一个实施例中,如图1-4所示,对准孔口204为圆形孔口(本文中由附图标记204表示),以用于提供弹性均化的四向对准和保持。在另一个实施例中,对准孔口204为细长的开槽孔口(本文中由附图标记204a表示),其将参照图5-7更详细地讨论,以用于提供弹性均化的双向对准和保持。细长的开槽孔口的长轴线可沿x轴线或y轴线定向,具体取决于部件的弹性均化的双向对准和保持需要控制的方向。能弹性变形的对准元件104构造和设置成以下文更详细地讨论的方式干涉地、能变形地和配合地接合对准特征204,以将第一部件100与第二部件200精确地对准在两个方向或四个方向上,例如,正交坐标系的+/-x方向和/或+/-y方向,其在本文中分别称为双向对准和四向对准。

在一个实施例中,能弹性变形的对准元件104为凸圆角型中空管(在本文中也由附图标记104表示),其具有相对于凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线108的四个向外定向的凸圆角106.1、106.2、106.3、106.4(参照图2最清楚地示出),并且对准特征为圆形孔口204。在一个实施例中,倒角面206包围圆形孔口204以有利于能弹性变形的对准元件104插入圆形孔口204中。在一个实施例中,凸圆角型中空管104在本文中也可称为四凸圆角型中空管或菱形凸圆角型中空管。在一个实施例中,凸圆角型中空管104的横截面的外轮廓具有形成斜方形或正方形形状的侧面。
在一个实施例中,凸圆角型中空管104具有靠近第一对准构件102的近端114和与近端114间隔开的远端116。在一个实施例中,远端116具有锥形118(参照图9和图10最清楚地示出)以有利于能弹性变形的对准元件104插入对准孔口204中。
在一个实施例中,凸圆角型中空管104包括开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2,其从凸圆角型中空管104的外表面朝凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线108径向向内延伸,并且可以仅部分地延伸穿过凸圆角型中空管104的壁厚或完全穿过壁厚。虽然本文所述若干附图描绘了完全延伸穿过凸圆角型中空管的开槽的保持特征,但应当理解,本发明的范围不限于此并且也涵盖这样的局部槽或凹口:其不完全延伸穿过凸圆角型中空管,但仍以与本文提供的公开内容一致的方式起作用。在一个实施例中,开槽的保持特征110.1和110.2设置在凸圆角型中空管104的两个相对的凸圆角(拐角)上,并且开槽的保持特征112.1和112.2设置在凸圆角型中空管104的另两个相对的凸圆角(拐角)上。虽然图1描绘了用于提供保持和对准的开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2,但应当理解,本发明的范围不限于此并且也涵盖不含开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2的四凸圆角型中空管104,以用于提供对准而非保持。

在第二实施例中,开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2全部设置在垂直于凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线108定向的相同平面中,以提供例如弹性均化的四向对准和保持系统(参见例如图2-4)。
在第三实施例中,第一对开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2设置在垂直于凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线定向的第一平面中,并且第二对开槽的保持特征112.1、112.2设置在垂直于凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线108定向的第二平面中,其中第一和第二平面彼此不同且间隔开,以便为例如三个部件提供弹性均化的对准和保持系统(参见例如图1和图8-10)。

能弹性变形的对准元件(凸圆角型中空管)104的部分在被插入对准孔口204时弹性地变形至弹性均化的最终构型,该最终构型使第一对准构件102与第二对准构件202在两个或四个平面上的正交方向上对准,具体取决于是否采用一对或两对开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2,以及对准孔口是否为圆形对准孔口204或细长的开槽对准孔口204a。在一个实施例中,当凸圆角型中空管104被正确地插入圆形对准孔口204中时,开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2中的每一个与圆形对准孔口204的边缘接合(参照图2-4最清楚地示出)。本文参照图5-7和图8-10讨论了其它接合构型。
现在参照图2-4,图中描绘了从第二对准构件202的侧面21观察的四凸圆角型中空管104的三个组装阶段,如上文结合第二实施例所讨论那样,四凸圆角型中空管104具有四个开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2,其中开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2设置在垂直于凸圆角型中空管104的中心轴线108定向的相同平面中,以相对于圆形对准孔口204提供四向弹性均化对准和保持。

第三组装阶段(图4)描绘了四凸圆角型中空管104与圆形对准孔口204的完全接合位置。如所描绘的,四凸圆角型中空管104朝其初始形状弹性地膨胀,其中当开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2与圆形对准孔口204的边缘接合时,保持一些轻微的变形。在一个实施例中,每个开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2的宽度150大于第二对准构件202的厚度265(参照图1最清楚地示出),从而允许在开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2、112.1、112.2和圆形对准孔口204的边缘之间的按扣配合式接合。
现在参照图5-7,图中描绘了从第二对准构件202的侧面21观察的四凸圆角型中空管104a的三个组装阶段,四凸圆角型中空管104a具有如上文结合第一实施例描述的两个相对的开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2,其中开槽的保持特征110.1、110.2设置在垂直于凸圆角型中空管104a的中心轴线108定向的相同平面中,以相对于细长的开槽对准孔口204a提供双向弹性均化对准和保持,细长的开槽对准孔口204a可包括倒角面206a(参见图5),其类似于上文结合圆形对准孔口204所描述的倒角面206。

在一个实施例中,并且结合图1和图9A及图10A仍然参照图9和图10,第二对准孔口204和第三对准孔口304的内径相等地尺寸设计且同心,使得它们从平面图角度来看彼此对准,如由图9A和图10A中的虚线51、52、53和54所指示的,这造成凸圆角型中空管104在缺少开槽的保持特征的区域中变形,以及凸圆角型中空管104与相应的第二部件200和第三部件300在具有开槽的保持特征的那些区域中的精确的按扣配合接合。

Claims (10)
1. 一种弹性均化的对准系统,包括:
第一部件,其包括第一对准构件和关于所述第一对准构件固定地设置的能弹性变形的对准元件;
第二部件,其包括第二对准构件和关于所述第二对准构件固定地设置的对准孔口;
其中,所述能弹性变形的对准元件构造和设置成干涉地、能变形地和配合地接合所述对准孔口;
其中,所述能弹性变形的对准元件包括具有四个凸圆角的凸圆角型中空管,所述能弹性变形的对准元件包括在两个相对的凸圆角中的每一个上的开槽的保持特征,所述开槽的保持特征从所述中空管的外表面朝所述中空管的中心轴线径向向内延伸;
其中,所述能弹性变形的对准元件的部分在插入到所述对准孔口中时弹性地变形至弹性均化的最终构型,所述弹性均化的最终构型使所述第一对准构件与所述第二对准构件在至少两个平面上的正交方向上对准;以及
其中,所述开槽的保持特征中的每一个与所述对准孔口的边缘接合。
2. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性均化的对准系统,其中:
所述能弹性变形的对准元件的部分在插入到所述对准孔口中时弹性地变形至弹性均化的最终构型,所述弹性均化的最终构型使所述第一对准构件与所述第二对准构件在四个平面上的正交方向上对准。
