Abstract

 【要約】  【課題】  発色感度、耐湿熱性、耐可塑剤性に優れ、さらに、画像部の耐熱性、地肌発色性、耐光性等に優れた感熱記録体を提供する。  【解決手段】  末端の一方が水酸基であり他方がアルコキシ基等であるジフェニルスルホン誘導体は、両端が水酸基のものに比べて融点が高く、その結果、感熱発色層に顕色剤としてこのジフェニルスルホン誘導体を用いた感熱記録体の耐熱性も高かった。その一方で、通常融点の高い顕色剤を用いると感熱記録体の発色感度は一般に劣化する。感熱発色層に顕色剤として、このジフェニルスルホン誘導体を特定のフェノール誘導体と組み合わせて用いる本発明の感熱記録体は、良好な発色感度を有し、耐湿熱性、耐可塑剤性などの性能のバランスが改善される。
