Abstract
【解決手段】(A)ポリエステル樹脂と、(B)白色顔料と、(C)リン酸ナトリウム塩と、を含み、かつナトリウムの含有量が組成物全量に対して0.01〜3質量%である熱可塑性樹脂組成物。

Description
本発明において、ポリエステル樹脂は、LED部品素材等の製造工程において発生する高温で耐熱性および機械的物性を向上させるために使用する。耐熱性のためには、樹脂が高い融点を有することが好ましい。前記ポリエステル樹脂は、融点が200〜380℃であることが好ましく、より好ましくは220〜380℃、さらに好ましくは260〜320℃である。前記ポリエステル樹脂の融点が380℃を超える場合には、加工性が低下する恐れがある。
本発明において、白色顔料は、白色度および反射率を高めるために使用される。
本発明において、リン酸ナトリウム塩は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の反射性、耐熱安定性、光安定性および耐変色性を確保するために使用することができる。
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、機械的特性、耐熱性および寸法安定性等を向上させるために無機充填剤をさらに含むことができる。前記無機充填剤を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、該組成物から得られる成形品の引張強度、曲げ強度、曲げ弾性率等の機械的物性だけでなく、耐熱性を向上させることができる。
本発明は、目的とする効果を損なわない範囲内で、用途に応じて組成物に添加剤をさらに添加することができる。前記添加剤としては、酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、安定剤、難燃剤、離型剤、蛍光増白剤、可塑剤、滑剤、増粘剤、核剤、補強剤、無機物添加剤、顔料、染料等を添加することができ、これに制限されず、通常の添加剤が使用できる。
SK chemical社のPuratan(登録商標)0302(融点:290〜294℃)を使用した。
テレフタル酸と1,10−デカンジアミンとの重縮合により製造され、主鎖に芳香族環が含まれた融点315℃の芳香族ポリアミド樹脂であるPA10Tを使用した。
テレフタル酸、アジピン酸、およびヘキサメチレンジアミンの重縮合により製造され、主鎖に芳香族環が含まれた融点325℃の芳香族ポリアミド樹脂であるPA6T/66を使用した。
二酸化チタン(TiO2、DuPont社製のR−105)を使用した。
INNOPHOS社のヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム(sodium hexametaphosphate)を使用した。
ガラス繊維(OWENSCORNING社の910)を使用した。
ウォラストナイト(NYCO社のNyglos(登録商標)12、平均長さ18μm、見掛け密度0.57g/cm3)を使用した。
上述の構成成分を使用し、下記表1に示した組成のように、(A1)ポリエステル樹脂80質量%および(B)白色顔料20質量%からなるベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム0.5質量部を添加し、240〜350℃に加熱された二軸溶融押出機内で溶融混練して、ペレット(pellet)状態の樹脂組成物を製造した。製造されたペレットを130℃で5時間以上乾燥させた後、240〜320℃に加熱されたスクリュー式射出成形機を用いて90mm×50mm×2.5mmサイズの物性評価用試験片を製造した。
ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム 1.5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C2)ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
(A1)ポリエステル樹脂50質量%、(B)白色顔料35質量%、および(D1)ガラス繊維15質量%からなるベース樹脂を使用し、ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C2)ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例5と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
ベース樹脂として(D1)ガラス繊維の代わりに(D2)ウォラストナイトを使用し、ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム5質量部を使用したことを除き、実施例5と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
(A1)ポリエステル樹脂40質量%、(B)白色顔料45質量%、および(D1)ガラス繊維15質量%からなるベース樹脂を使用し、ベース樹脂100質量部に対して(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウム5重量部を使用したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で実施した。
(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウムを含まないことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
(C1)ピロリン酸ナトリウムを含まないことを除き、実施例5と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
(A1)ポリエステル樹脂の代わりに(A2)芳香族ポリアミド(PA10T)を使用したことを除き、実施例5と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
(A1)ポリエステル樹脂の代わりに(A3)芳香族ポリアミド(PA6T/66)を使用したことを除き、実施例5と同様の方法で試験片を作製した。
1)反射率
板状の試験片を用いて、波長450nmでの反射率を測定した。最初反射率(SCI、specular component included)を測定した後、それぞれ105℃、85℃の温度および相対湿度85%RHの条件の恒温恒湿オーブンで、波長450nmを有するLED光源を500時間照射した後の反射率を測定し、反射率の減少度合いを評価した。反射率測定機としてコニカミノルタ株式会社製のCM3500dを使用した。
ASTM D1925に準じて、Minolta 3600D CIE Lab.色差計を用いて厚さ2.5mmの試験片の黄色度を測定した。最初黄色度を測定した後、250℃のオーブンで5分間放置した後に黄色度を測定することで、黄色度の変化を評価した。
成形性(×):未成形、収縮、または表面不良が発生。
硝酸およびフッ酸を溶媒として用いて成形品を溶かした後、ICP−OES装置(ICP発光分析装置)を用いて測定した。
Claims (15)
- (A)ポリエステル樹脂と、(B)白色顔料と、(C)リン酸ナトリウム塩と、を含み、かつナトリウムの含有量が組成物全量に対して0.01〜3質量%である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- (A)ポリエステル樹脂40〜90質量%、および(B)白色顔料10〜60質量%を含むベース樹脂100質量部に対して、前記(C)リン酸ナトリウム塩0.1〜10質量部を含む、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)リン酸ナトリウム塩は、ピロリン酸ナトリウム、トリポリリン酸ナトリウム、テトラポリリン酸ナトリウム、ペンタポリリン酸ナトリウム、及びヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1または2に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)リン酸ナトリウム塩は、ピロリン酸ナトリウムまたはヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウムを含む、請求項3に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ナトリウムの含有量が組成物全量に対して0.05〜2質量%である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(A)ポリエステル樹脂は、芳香族ジカルボン酸成分と脂環族ジオールを含むジオール成分との重縮合により製造される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(A)ポリエステル樹脂は、200〜380℃の融点を有し、かつ下記化学式1で表される構造である、請求項6に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(B)白色顔料は、酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、硫化亜鉛、鉛白、硫酸亜鉛、硫酸バリウム、炭酸カルシウム、および酸化アルミニウムからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、ホウ素繊維、ガラスビーズ、ガラスフレーク、カーボンブラック、タルク、クレー、カオリン、マイカ、炭酸カルシウム、ウォラストナイト、チタン酸カリウムウィスカー、ホウ酸アルミニウムウィスカー、酸化亜鉛ウィスカー、およびカルシウムウィスカーからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の(D)無機充填剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(D)無機充填剤はウォラストナイトである、請求項9に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記(D)無機充填剤は平均長さが0.1〜100μmである、請求項9または10に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 酸化防止剤、帯電防止剤、安定剤、難燃剤、離型剤、蛍光増白剤、可塑剤、滑剤、増粘剤、核剤、補強剤、無機物添加剤、顔料、および染料からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物から製造される成形品。
- 色差計を用いて450nmの波長で測定した初期反射率が90%以上であり、白色LED光源に105℃で500時間露出させた後に測定した反射率の減少率が30%未満である、請求項13に記載の成形品。
- 発光装置用反射板である、請求項13または14に記載の成形品。
