- 式中において、MはIr、Os、Pt、Pb、ReまたはRuである金属原子で、A1およびA2のそれぞれは別々の単座配位子であるか、またはA1およびA2は共有結合で結合して二座配位子を形成しており、R1、R2、R3、R4、R5、R6、R7、R8、R9およびR10のそれぞれは別々にH、活性化基または不活性化基で、それに加えまたはそれに代わるものとしてR1とR2、またはR2とR3、またはR3とR4、またはR5とR6、またはR6とR7またはR7とR8、またはR9とR10の1つ以上のいずれかが共同して別々に縮合した4から7員環基を形成し、そこにおいて前記環状基がシクロアルキル、シクロヘテロアルキル、アリールまたはヘテロアリールであり、そこでの前記環状基は場合により1つ以上の置換基Xで置換されていて、それぞれのXは別々にH、F、Cl、Br、I、R12、OR12、N(R12)2、P(R12)2、P(OR12)2、POR12、PO2R12、PO3R12、SR12、Si(R12)3、B(R12)2、B(OR12)2、C(O)R12、C(O)OR12、C(O)N(R12)2、CN、NO2、SO2、SOR12、SO2R12またはSO3R12であり、それぞれのR12は別々にH、C1〜C20アルキル、C1〜C20過ハロゲン化アルキル、C2〜C20アルケニル、C2〜C20アルキニル、C1〜C20ヘテロアルキル、C3〜C40アリールまたはC3〜C40ヘテロアリールであり、mは金属原子Mの形式電荷で、nは1,2または3であり、そしてそこにおけるR3、R9およびR10の少なくとも1つは、アルキル、ヘテロアルキル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、ヒドロキシ、メルカプト、チオラト、アミノ、ホスフィノ、アルキルカルボニルアミノ及びアリールカルボニルアミノからなる群から選択される活性化基、またはそこにおけるR3、R4、R9およびR10の少なくとも1つは不活性化基であり、
