自動運転支援・監視装置100が生成し、自動運転判定・制御装置300を介して送信し、車載器3500が受信する。切替指示信号94は、自動運転または非自動運転のいずれかの運転への切り替えを強制的に指示する信号である。非自動運転から自動運転への切替を指示する切替指示信号94は、自動運転指示信号93である。
<6>切替制御信号95:
自動運転支援・監視装置100が生成し、自動運転判定・制御装置300を介して送信し、車載器3500が受信する。自動運転または非自動運転のいずれかの運転への切り替えを指示する信号である点で切替指示信号94と同じである。切替制御信号には、(a)自動運転を認める自動運転可能信号92Bと、(b)車両を直接自動運転に制御する信号との2種類を含む。非自動運転から自動運転への切替を指示する切替指示信号94は(b)に該当する。
<7>切替信号96:
車両300に配置された切替操作部が出力し、車載器3500が受信する。切替信号96は、非自動運転から自動運転への切替時に操作される切替操作部が操作された場合に、切替操作部から出力される信号である。切替信号96は自動運転指示信号93である。
<8>運転状態信号99:
自動運転制御装置3300が出力し、車載器3500が受信する。運転状態信号99は、自動運転状態、自動運転状態ではない非自動運転状態、非自動運転から自動運転へ切替中、自動運転から非自動運転へ切替中の運転状態を示す信号である。
<9>判定信号90:
判定信号90は複数種類の装置から送信され、車載器3500が受信する。判定信号90は、自動運転状態と非自動運転状態とのどちらの運転状態を表示装置に表示させたらよいかを判定可能な信号である。以下の実施の形態では、判定信号90は運転状態信号99、切替指示信号94等である。
***構成の説明***
図1は、自動運転を支援する自動運転支援システム1000の構成図である。自動運転支援システム1000は、以下、支援システム1000と記す。支援システム1000は、管理対象となる道路上を移動中の全ての車両を監視する。支援システム1000は、自動運転車両の監視装置である自動運転支援・監視装置100、道路管理装置である自動運転道路管理装置200、自動運転情報収集装置である自動運転判定・制御装置300、支援情報を提供する支援情報提供装置400を備えている。自動運転支援・監視装置100等はネットワーク800に接続しており、ネットワーク800を介して互いに通信できる。
監視装置100は、自動運転監視装置である。また管理道路とは、管理対象となる道路である。
表示装置への表示動作としては以下の様である。車載器3500は、車両3000に搭載され、車両3000の外部から表示状態が判別可能な表示装置(自動運転表示装置3900等)に対して、自動運転状態または自動運転状態ではない非自動運転状態のいずれかの運転状態を表示させる。
この場合、車両3000の自動運転制御装置3300から運転状態を示す運転状態信号99を受信し、制御部3501は、受信機3502Rが受信した運転状態信号99に対応した表示指示を、送信機3502Tを介して表示装置に送信する。なお、受信機3502Rは、自動運転または自動運転ではない非自動運転のいずれかの運転への切り替えを指示する切替指示信号94を受信しもよい。制御部3501は、受信機3502Rが受信した切替指示信号94に対応した表示指示を、送信機3502Tを介して表示装置に送信する。
支援システム1000では、道路管理装置200が、車両2000、車両3000の区別なしに、管理道路上を走行する車両の情報を収集する。情報収集装置300は、車両3000を対象に、管理道路を走行する車両3000の情報を収集する。そして、監視装置100は、道路管理装置200、情報収集装置300の収集したそれぞれの情報を、道路管理装置200、情報収集装置300から取得して、車両3000の支援、監視を行う。また提供装置400は、高速道路本線である管理道路への合流箇所における情報を車両3000に提供する装置であり、支援システム1000のオプション的な装置である。
図10は、支援システム1000の動作を示すシーケンス図である。
<2>S202において、制御部201は、監視装置100からの要求に応じてマッチングデータを、通信部202を介して監視装置100に送信する。
<1>地図管理装置210は、道路事業社の管理している高速道路の3D地図データを管理・格納し、自動運転車両が安全に走行できる状態を維持・管理する。
<2>高速道路の3D地図データは、MMS(Mobile Mapping System、モービル・マッピング・システム)測量車両にて1回/年又は道路に付帯物や工事が生じた場合測量し、最新の3D地図データを管理する。
<3>S203において、地図管理装置210の制御部211は、配信装置220が3D道路線形データを生成できるように、3D地図データを配信装置220に送信する。この3D道路線形データは、S204において、配信装置220の制御部221が通信部222を介して提供装置400に送信する。この3D道路線形データは、提供装置400を介して車両3000に配信される。
<4>なお、監視装置100から装置を指定して3D地図データの送信要求があった場合、制御部211は、通信部212を介して、指定の装置に3D地図データを送信する。
<1>S203で述べたように、配信装置220の制御部221は、地図管理装置210から送信された高速道路の3D地図データを基に、3D道路線形データを生成する。
<2>S204で述べたように、制御部221は、生成した3D道路線形データを提供装置400に伝送する。
<3>3D道路線形データは、3つのインターチェンジ間の距離を1つのデータ量とし、インターチェンジの各ETCレーン(ETCは登録商標)の入口第一アンテナと出口第一アンテナ間、車線毎、分合流とする。
<1>監視カメラ230は、管理道路を走行中の車両2000,3000の挙動を監視する。
<2>監視カメラ230は、走行中の車両2000,3000の車両ナンバを読み取るカメラ部231、読み取った車両ナンバを読み取った時刻と共に車両ナンバデータとして道路管理装置200に伝送するカメラ部231、及び記憶部233を備える。S201で述べたように、カメラ部231は、伝送データには、車両ナンバを読み取った位置情報も含める。
<3>道路管理装置200への車両ナンバ及び位置情報の伝送ができない場合は、カメラ部231は、記憶部233に車両ナンバデータを200枚程度保持(最新データに上書き保存、保存枚数は物理的な記憶容量で規定されるため200枚と固定するものではない)し、データ伝送ができるようになった場合は、保存データを伝送する。
<1>S301において、情報収集装置300は、管理道路上を走行している車両3000から、自動運転の休止状態の休止車両3010であるか、自動運転の稼働状態の稼働車両3011であるかを示す情報を含む車載器3500の送信機から送信されるビーコン信号91Bを受信する。このビーコン信号91Bは、図10に示すように、
<a>自動運転稼働モード、自動運転休止モードのいずれの運転モードであるかを示す運転モード情報、
<b>自車両の現在位置の情報(緯度、経度、高度等)、
<c>自車両の車両速度情報、
<d>自車両に事故が発生したかどうかを知らせる事故発報有無信号、
<e>車両を識別する車両識別情報、
を含む。情報収集装置300の制御部301は、通信部302を介してビーコン信号91Bを受信する。車両3000からのビーコン信号91Bは、「802.11p、ITS FORUM RC-005、ARIB STD-T75、ARIB STD-T109」で規定されるデータフォーマットとする。
このビーコン信号91Bはセキュリティ付与によって暗号化されているので、情報収集装置300の制御部301は、平文化する機能を有する。また制御部301は送信するデータを暗号化する機能も有する。
<2>S302において、制御部301は、受信したビーコン信号91Bの情報を、監視装置100に暗号化して伝送する。
<3>S303において、監視装置100から通信部302を介して「マニュアル信号92A」を受信した場合、制御部301は、「マニュアル信号92A」を通信部302によって同報送信する。
<4>S304において、「マニュアル信号92A」と併せて送信される「自動運転不可区間情報」を受信した場合、制御部301は、配信装置220が生成した道路線形データを関連付けた「自動運転不可区間情報/道路線形データ」を同報通信する。「自動運転不可区間情報/道路線形データ」とは、その名のとおり、自動運転を不可とする区間を示す道路線形データのことである。道路線形データは、制御部301が通信部302を介して配信装置220から受信する。
<5>なお、同報通信は、「802.11p、ITS FORUM RC-005、ARIB STD-T75、ARIB STD-T109」で規定されるデータフォーマットとする。制御部301による通信部302を介した送信は、セキュリティを付与して暗号化送信するものとする。
<6>監視装置100は、「マニュアル信号92A」を送信した後に、自動運転が可能な状態になったと判断した場合、自動運転を許可する「自動運転可能信号92B」を情報収集装置300に送信する。このとき、制御部301は通信部302が「自動運転可能信号92B」を受信した場合、S305において、「自動運転可能信号92B」を同報送信により中継する。
<1>S401において、提供装置400の制御部401は、通信部402により中継装置430が計算した誤差補正計算結果を受信し、通信部402から同報通信で送信する。誤差補正計算結果とは、位置を測位する場合の補正情報であり、車両3000あるいは車両2000が使用することができる。この誤差補正計算結果は、1秒間隔で送信する。この場合、通信部402は、「802.11p、ITS FORUM RC-005、ARIB STD-T75、ARIB STD-T109」で規定されるデータフォーマットで同報送信するものとする。送信データは制御部401が暗号化する。
<2>また、S402において、制御部401は、計算装置410の出力情報である後述の予測計算結果を、通信部402により同報通信で送信する。通信部402は、S401の誤差補正データと、S402の予測計算結果とを、1秒間隔で交互に送信する。
S402の予測計算結果は、計算装置410が計算する。
予測計算結果は、管理道路に合流する道路から本線である管理道路に合流する車両と、管理道路上を走行している車両3000との事故を予防するために求める。
予測計算結果として、計算装置410は合流道路を走行している車両(二輪車両を含む)の位置、速度を検知するレーダ420の出力結果と、格納している道路線形データとから、車両3000が本線車線に合流する位置と時間を計算する。
<1>制御部411は、管理道路である高速道路本線に進入する車両について、後述の「車両情報」及び「予測計算結果」を計算する。
<2>制御部411は、レーダ420が検出した車両速度、車両位置、及びレーダ420が検出した「車両形状」と「記憶部423で持っている車両種別情報(普通車、大型車、特大車、二輪車等)」とを関連付ける。この関連付けにより、どのよう種別の車両が、現在、どのような位置で、どのような方向に、どのような速さで走行しているかを示す「車両情報」を計算する。
<3>制御部411は、上記で求めた「車両情報」と、配信装置220から配信された3D道路線形データとから、本線に合流しようとしている車両の本線での合流地点と合流時刻を予測計算する。
<4>制御部411は、その予測計算結果をS402で述べたように、提供装置400に伝送する。
<5>1秒間隔で最新計算されて入力されるレーダ420からの検出結果に基づき、制御部411は合流の予測計算結果を1秒間隔で算出し、上記のS402で通信部422から提供装置400に送信する。提供装置400は上記のように予測計算結果を受信するたびに同報送信する。
<1>レーダ420は、高速道路本線に進入する車両を検知する。
<2>レーダ420のレーダ部421は、「車両の速度」、「車両位置」、「車両形状」を算出し、検知する。
<3>通信部422は、S402の説明で述べたように、レーダ部421の車両検知結果を出力結果として計算装置410に伝送する。
<4>レーダ420は、79GHz、9GHz帯等の仕様はトレードオフである。
<5>車両検知結果は、通信部422によって、1秒毎に更新した結果として計算装置410へ伝送される。
<1>中継装置430は、提供装置400にオプション装置として付加され、準天頂衛星QZSからの補強データを受信する。補強データとは測位計算に使用する補正情報の元データとなる情報である。
<2>中継装置430の制御部431は、受信した補強データと、記憶部433に持っている提供装置400の絶対座標とを比較し、準天頂衛星QZSから配信される位置情報の誤差補正計算を行って誤差補正計算結果を得る。
<3>制御部431は、通信部432から誤差補正計算結果を提供装置400に伝送する。
<4>提供装置400は、誤差補正計算結果を
「802.11p、ITS FORUM RC-005、ARIB STD-T75、ARIB STD-T109」で規定されるデータフォーマットで同報送信する。誤差補正計算結果は、車両2000や車両3000が自車両の測位計算の際に使用することで、高精度測位が可能となる情報である。
<1>制御部101は、管理道路が自動運転の可能な状態か否かを監視する。上記のようにマッチングデータやビーコン情報を用いて監視する。
<2>制御部101は、マッチングデータやビーコン情報を用いて、車両3000が、管理道路内に何台、どの地点に存在し、どのように移動しているかを監視する。
<3>制御部101は、道路運行監視用の監視カメラ230から得られた管理道路内の交通流、交通状態、事故の有無、渋滞の有無等を管理する。この管理は、道路管理装置200から取得するマッチングデータを用いた管理である。
<4>制御部101は、S101で述べたように、管理道路内で渋滞や事故等が発生した場合、情報収集装置300を介して、車両3000に対して事故を予防する観点で、マニュアル信号92Aを同報送信する。
<5>制御部101は、地図管理装置210で管理している高精度な3D地図データを取得し、3D地図データから、マニュアル運転範囲(車線、キロポスト又は道路線形データ領域)を抽出し、マニュアル信号92Aを送信する際に、マニュアル運転範囲も指定する。マニュアル運転範囲は、車載器3500の制御部3501が特定する。
<6>制御部101は、S102において、事故や渋滞が解消されたと判定した場合、マニュアル信号92Aの場合と同様に、情報収集装置300を介して、自動運転可能信号92Bを同報送信する。
<7>なお、制御部101は、通信部102による他の装置とのデータの送受信を、暗号化で行う。制御部101は、暗号化及び復号処理に使用する認証鍵情報を管理する。認証鍵情報は記憶部103に格納されている。なお、S101の「マニュアル信号92A」、S102の「自動運転可能信号92B」は、自動運転可否のバーチャル信号機の役目を果たす。つまり、一般道の信号機に代わり、車載器3500のCPUに対する信号機の役割を果たす。なお、事故や渋滞の際には「マニュアル信号92A」を継続して送信し、事故や渋滞が解消した場合に「マニュアル信号92A」の送信を停止し、「マニュアル信号92A」の送信停止を「自動運転可能信号92B」に代替させても良い。これらにより、管理道路全域で自動運転を禁止するのではなく、自動運転が可能な領域を限定させる情報を車両3000に提供することで、自動運転による快適な運転を道路利用者である運転者に提供する効果が得られる。
<1>現在、自動運転をしている車両か、
<2>自動運転が可能な車両だが運転者が運転している車両か、
<3>自動運転のできない車両か、
等の判別ができる。
よって、道路管理者は、車両3000の挙動を把握することができる。このため、管理道路上で事故や渋滞が発生した場合に、車両3000にマニュアル信号92Aを送信することで、車両3000による自動運転に伴う事故を防止することができる。
車両3000が、自動運転稼働モードで走行しているか、運転者が自ら運転中の自動運転休止モードかは、車両3000の周辺を走行中の他の車両の運転者にはわからない。このため、稼働車両3011の動きに追随して走行していると、突然、人が介在する運転に切り替わり、急ブレーキや急ハンドル等の操作があった際、追突事故や車両接触等の事故が発生する可能性があった。このため、車両3000は、自車が休止車両3010であるか稼働車両3011かを周囲に知らしめる自動運転表示装置3900を備える。
同様に、自動運転から非自動運転への切り替えの間を監視し、非自動運転への切り替えまでの間と、非自動運転が開始された以降とで、自動運転表示装置3900を異なる表示状態で表示させてもよい。このように、制御部3501は、車両3000の運転状態を監視し、非自動運転状態から自動運転状態への切り替えまでの間、または自動運転状態から非自動運転状態への切り替えまでの間は、自動運転状態を示す表示状態および非自動運転状態を示す表示状態とは異なる表示状態を表示装置に表示させる。
図15は、監視装置100のハードウェア構成例を示す図である。図15を参照して、実施の形態1に示した監視装置100のハードウェア構成例を説明する。

- 自動運転が可能な車両である自動運転可能車両に搭載され、前記自動運転可能車両の外部から表示状態が判別可能な表示装置に対して、自動運転状態または自動運転状態ではない非自動運転状態のいずれかの運転状態を表示させる車載器であって、
前記表示装置に前記自動運転状態と前記非自動運転状態とのどちらの運転状態を表示させたらよいかを判定可能な判定信号を受信する受信部と、
送信部と、
前記受信部が受信した前記判定信号に従う表示指示を、前記送信部を介して前記表示装置に送信する制御部と
を備える車載器。 - 前記受信部は、
前記判定信号として、前記自動運転可能車両から前記運転状態を示す運転状態信号を受信し、
