Claims (45)
- 안내 홈이 형성된 기판,상기 기판 상에 적어도 광반사 기능을 갖는 층,미기록 상태에 있어서 기록 재생 광파장에 대하여 광흡수 기능을 갖는 색소를 주성분으로서 함유하는 기록층, 및상기 기록층에 대하여 기록 재생광이 입사하는 커버층을, 이 순서대로 구비하고,상기 기록 재생광을 집속하여 얻어지는 기록 재생 광빔이 상기 커버층에 입사하는 면으로부터 먼 측의 안내 홈부를 기록 홈부로 할 때,상기 기록 홈부에 형성된 기록 피트부의 반사광 강도는 상기 기록 홈부에 있어서의 미기록시의 반사광 강도보다 높아지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부의 반사광 강도는 상기 기록 피트부에서의 반사광의 위상 변화에 의해 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 광반사 기능을 갖는 층의 상기 기록층 측의 계면을 반사 기준면으로 하고,상기 기록 홈부에서의 상기 반사 기준면까지의 왕복 광로 길이와 상기 기록 피트부를 형성하지 않은 안내 홈부인 기록 홈간부 (溝間部) 에서의 상기 반사 기준면까지의 왕복 광로 길이와의 차에 의해 발생하는 위상차 (Φb) 는 0<|Φb|<π 이고,상기 기록 홈부에 상기 기록 피트부가 존재하는 경우의 위상차 (Φa) 는 0<|Φa|<π 이고,또한, |Φb|>|Φa|인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 광반사층의 입사광측에 있어서의 굴절률 (nd) 보다 낮은 굴절률부의 형성에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 기록층의 상기 기록 재생 광파장에서의 굴절률이 미기록 상태에 비하여 감소하는 것에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 기록 후의 감소된 굴절률 (nd’) 은 커버층 굴절률 (nc) 보다도 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 기록층의 내부 또는 상기 기록층에 인접하는 층과의 계면에 공동을 형성하는 것에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록층은 상기 커버층 측으로 부풀어 오르는 형상 변화를 동반하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 미기록 상태에서의 굴절률 (nd) 은 상기 커버층의 굴절률 (nc) 과 동등 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에 반사층/기록층, 및 반사층/기판 계면의 어디에도 변형 및 혼합이 발생되지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 기록 재생광의 파장 (λ) 은 350㎚∼450㎚ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 기록 홈부의 미기록시에 있어서의 기록층 막두께 (dG) 는 5㎚ 이상 40㎚ 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 광반사 기능을 갖는 층의 상기 기록층 측의 계면을 반사 기준면으로 하고,상기 반사 기준면에서 규정되는 상기 기록 홈부와 상기 기록 홈간부의 단차 (dGL) 는, 30㎚∼70㎚ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 홈부의 미기록시에 있어서의 기록층 막두께 (dG) 는 5㎚ 이상 50㎚ 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 홈간부의 미기록시에 있어서의 기록층 막두께 (dL) 는 0㎚∼10㎚ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층과 상기 커버층 사이에, 상기 기록층의 재료와 상기 커버층의 재료의 혼합을 방지하는 계면층을 추가로 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층과 상기 커버층 사이에 상기 기록층의 재료와 상기 커버층의 재료의 혼합을 방지하는 계면층을 추가로 형성하고, 상기 계면층의 두께는 1㎚∼50㎚ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 재생 광빔을 상기 기록 홈부에 조사한 경우의 반사율은 미기록시에 있어서는 3%∼30% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 커버층의 상기 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 굴절률 (nc) 은 1.4 ∼1.6 이고, 상기 기록층의 미기록시의 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 굴절률 (nd) 은 1∼2 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 굴절률 (nd) 은 1.2∼1.9 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 미기록 상태에서의, 상기 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 흡수계수는 0.1∼1 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 미기록 상태에서의, 상기 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 흡수계수는 0.3 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층으로서 중량 감소 개시 온도는 300℃ 이하이고, 또한, 미기록 상태의 흡수계수 (kd) 는 0.3 이상인 색소를 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,상기 굴절률 (nd) 은 1.6 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 상기 광기록 매체의 경면부에서의 반사율은 기록층 막두께를 제로 (zero) 로 한 경우의 경면부 반사율의 50% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 기록 후의 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 흡수계수는 기록 전에 비하여 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 주성분이 되는 색소의 주흡수대의 피크에 있어서의 클로로포름 용액 중에서의 몰 흡광계수는 20000∼100000 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 주성분이 되는 색소는, nd=1.3∼1.9, kd=0.3∼1, 열중량 분석으로 측정한 중량 감소 개시 온도는 150∼300℃ 에 있는 색소인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 홈부의 미기록 상태에 있어서의 규격화 푸시풀 (push-pull) 신호 강도는 0.5 이상 0.8 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록 홈부의 기록 후에 있어서의 규격화 푸시풀 신호 강도는 0.2 이상 0.5 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층은 상기 안내 홈을 갖는 기판 상으로 상기 색소를 용해한 용액을 도포함으로써 형성된 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 커버층의 기록층 측 계면에 변형 촉진층을 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 34 항에 있어서,상기 변형 촉진층은 유리 전이 온도가 0℃ 이하인 점착층인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기록층의 주성분이 되는 색소의 열중량 분석에 의해 측정한 중량 감소 개시 온도는 150℃∼250℃ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기판 상의 적어도 일부에 상기 기록 홈과 동일한 깊이의 피트열로 이루어지는 재생 전용 데이터 영역을 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체.
- 안내 홈이 형성된 기판 상에 적어도 광반사 기능을 갖는 층, 미기록시에 기록 재생 광파장에 대하여 광흡수 기능을 갖는 색소를 주성분으로 하는 기록층, 및 커버층이 순서대로 적층된 구조를 갖는 광기록 매체에, 상기 커버층 측으로부터 기록 재생광을 입사시켜 기록 재생을 실시하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법으로서,상기 기록 재생광을 집속하여 얻어지는 기록 재생 광빔이 상기 커버층에 입사하는 면으로부터 먼 측의 안내 홈부를 기록 홈부로 할 때, 상기 기록 홈부에 형성한 기록 피트부의 반사광 강도는 상기 기록 홈부의 미기록시의 반사광 강도보다 높아지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 38 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부의 반사광 강도는 상기 기록 피트부에서의 반사광의 위상 변화에 의해 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 광반사 기능을 갖는 층의 상기 기록층 측의 계면을 반사 기준면으로 하고,상기 기록 홈부에서의 상기 반사 기준면까지의 왕복 광로 길이와 상기 기록 피트부를 형성하지 않은 안내 홈부인 기록 홈간부에서의 상기 반사 기준면까지의 왕복 광로 길이와의 차에 의해 발생하는 위상차 (Φb) 는 0<|Φb|<π 이고,상기 기록 홈부에 상기 기록 피트부가 존재하는 경우의 위상차 (Φa) 는 0<|Φa|<π 이고,또한, |Φb|>|Φa|인 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 광반사층의 입사광측에서의 상기 기록층의 미기록시의 기록 재생 광파장 (λ) 에 있어서의 굴절률 (nd) 보다 낮은 굴 절률부의 형성에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 기록층의 상기 기록 재생 광파장에서의 굴절률이 미기록 상태에 비하여 감소하는 것에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 기록 피트부에서의 위상 변화는 상기 기록층의 내부 또는 상기 기록층에 인접하는 층과의 계면에 공동을 형성하는 것에 의한 것임을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 제 39 항에 있어서,상기 기록층이 상기 커버층 측으로 부풀어 오르는 형상 변화를 동반하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 매체의 광기록 방법.
- 안내 홈이 형성된 기판 상에 적어도 광반사 기능을 갖는 층, 미기록시에 기록 재생 광파장에 대하여 광흡수 기능을 갖는 색소를 주성분으로 하는 기록층, 및 커버층이 순서대로 적층된 구조를 갖는 광기록 매체에, 상기 커버층 측으로부터 기록 재생광을 입사시켜 기록 재생하는 광기록 매체에 대한 광기록 장치로서,상기 기록 재생광을 집속하여 얻어지는 기록 재생 광빔을 상기 커버층에 입사하는 면으로부터 먼 측의 안내 홈부인 기록 홈부에 조사하고,상기 기록 홈부에 미기록시보다도 반사광 강도가 증가한 기록 피트부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광기록 장치.
