Claims (12)
- 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치는,매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로;매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로의 열에 대응하여 상호접속되는 각 신호선; 그리고매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로의 행에 대응하여 상호접속되는 제 1스캔선, 제 2스캔선, 제 3스캔선, 제 4스캔선을 포함하며;화소회로의 각각은;게이트단이 제 1스캔선에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 신호선의 하나에 접속된 제 1트랜지스터;제 1단이 제 1트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 제 1커패시터;제 1단이 제 1커패시터의 제 1단 또는 제 2단에 접속되는 제 2커패시터;게이트단이 제 1커패시터의 제 2단에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 제 1전원선에 접속되는 제 2트랜지스터;게이트단이 제 2스캔선에 접속되는 제 3트랜지스터로서, 상기 제 3트랜지스터의 제 1전극단은 제 2트랜지스터의 게이트단에 접속되고, 상기 제 3트랜지스터의 제 2전극부는 제 2트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 상기 제 3트랜지스터와;게이트단이 제 2스캔선에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 제 2트랜지스터의 제 2전극부에 접속되는 제 4트랜지스터;게이트단이 제 4스캔선에 접속되는 제 5트랜지스터로서, 상기 제 5트랜지스터의 제 1전극단은 제 3전원선에 접속되고, 상기 제 5트랜지스터의 제 2전극단은 제 1트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 상기 제 5트랜지스터와;제 4트랜지스터의 제 2전극단과 제 2전원선에 접속된 표시소자를 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 3트랜지스터와 제 5트랜지스터가 동일한 전도형(conductivity type)을 가지고, 그리고 제 3스캔선과 제 4스캔선이 공통선으로써 결합되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 3트랜지스터와 제 4트랜지스터가 반대 전도형을 가지고, 그리고 제 2스캔선과 제 3스캔선이 공통선으로써 결합되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 4트랜지스터와 제 5트랜지스터가 반대 전도형을 가지고, 그리고 제 3스캔선과 제 4스캔선이 공통선으로써 결합되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 3트랜지스터와 제 5트랜지스터가 제 4트랜지스터와 반대 전도형을 가지고, 그리고 제 2스캔선, 제 3스캔선, 제 4스캔선이 공통선으로써 결합되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 1전원선과 제 3전원선이 공통선으로써 결합되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 3전원선의 전원전압이 제 1전원선의 전원전압보다 낮은 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 7항에 있어서,제 3전원선의 전원전압이 변하기 쉬운 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,제 1트랜지스터 내지 제 5트랜지스터가 폴리실리콘 얇은막 트랜지스터인 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 디스플레이 소자는 제 1전극과 제 2전극 사이에 배치된 정세도층을 가지는 유기층을 포함하는 전자발광성 유기소자인 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치.
- 매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로;매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로의 열에 대응하여 상호접속되는 각 신호선; 그리고매트릭스에 배열된 화소회로의 행에 대응하여 상호접속되는 제 1스캔선, 제 2스캔선, 제 3스캔선, 제 4스캔선을 포함하며;화소회로의 각각은;게이트단이 제 1스캔선에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 신호선의 하나에 접속된 제 1트랜지스터;제 1단이 제 1트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 제 1커패시터;제 1단이 제 1커패시터의 제 1단 또는 제 2단에 접속되는 제 2커패시터;게이트단이 제 1커패시터의 제 2단에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 제 1전원선에 접속되는 제 2트랜지스터;게이트단이 제 2스캔선에 접속되는 제 3트랜지스터로서, 상기 제 3트랜지스터의 제 1전극단은 제 2트랜지스터의 게이트단에 접속되고, 상기 제 3트랜지스터의 제 2전극부는 제 2트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 상기 제 3트랜지스터;게이트단이 제 2스캔선에 접속되고 제 1전극단이 제 2트랜지스터의 제 2전극부에 접속되는 제 4트랜지스터;게이트단이 제 4스캔선에 접속되는 제 5트랜지스터로서, 상기 제 5트랜지스터의 제 1전극단은 제 3전원선에 접속되고, 상기 제 5트랜지스터의 제 2전극단은 제 1트랜지스터의 제 2전극단에 접속되는 상기 제 5트랜지스터;제 4트랜지스터의 제 2전극단과 제 2전원선에 접속된 표시소자를 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치의 구동방법이며,상기 방법은,제 1트랜지스터와 제 4트랜지스터를 턴 오프하는 동안에 제 3트랜지스터와 제 5트랜지스터를 턴 온하여 각 화소에서 제 2트랜지스터의 임계치 전압을 보상하고,제 1트랜지스터를 턴 온하는 동안 제 3트랜지스터와 제 5트랜지스터를 턴 오프하여 신호선의 각 화소로 디스플레이 데이터를 기입하는 단계를 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치의 구동방법.
- 제 11항에 있어서, 임계치 전압보상기간과 디스플레이 데이터 기입기간이 동시에 존재하고 이것은 다른 행이고 동일신호선을 따라 접속되는 액티브 매트릭스 표시장치의 구동방법.
