Abstract
【解決手段】第nユニットの電源線電位DS(n)が立ち下りタイミングである時刻t3nを、映像信号線電位が信号電位Vsigから消光電位Versに切り替わった後から、映像信号線電位が消光電位Versから基準電位Vofsに切り替わるまでの期間内に、より好適には、映像信号線電位のが信号電位Vsigから消光電位Versに切り替わった直後に調整させる。本発明は、例えば、パネル、表示装置、電子機器などに適用できる。

Claims (5)
- 電流に応じて発光する発光素子と、映像信号をサンプリングするサンプリング用トランジスタと、前記発光素子に前記電流を供給する駆動用トランジスタと、所定の電位を保持する保持容量とを備える画素が行列状に配置されており、
同一行に存在する前記画素に対して電源の信号を伝搬する電源線と走査線の信号を伝搬する走査線とがそれぞれ各行毎に配置されており、
前記電源線を複数本集合させたユニット毎に、同一ユニットに属する複数本の前記電源線の電位を一斉に切換える電源線電位制御手段と、
各行毎に、前記走査線の電位を低電位から高電位に切換えることで、前記保持容量への前記映像信号の信号電位の書き込みを開始させ、前記走査線の電位を高電位から低電位に切換えることで、前記書き込みを終了させるとともに前記画素の発光を開始させる走査線電位制御手段と
を備え、
前記映像信号線の電位としては、前記書き込みが行われる前の低電位、前記書き込みが行われるときの高電位、および、前記書き込みが行われた後の中間電位がその順番で繰り返し切り替えられ、
前記電源線電位制御手段による全ユニットの前記電源線の電位の高電位から低電位への切換え動作を、前記映像信号線の電位が前記高電位から前記中間電位に切り替わった後から、前記映像信号線の電位が前記中間電位から前記低電位に切り替わるまでの間に行う

各行毎に、前記走査線の電位を低電位から高電位に切換えることで、前記保持容量への前記映像信号の信号電位の書き込みを開始させ、前記走査線の電位を高電位から低電位に切換えることで、前記書き込みを終了させるとともに前記画素の発光を開始させる走査線電位制御手段と
を備えるパネルが、
前記映像信号線の電位の切り替え動作として、前記書き込みが行われる前の低電位、前記書き込みが行われるときの高電位、および前記書き込みが行われた後の中間電位をその順番で繰り返し切り替える動作を行い、
前記電源線電位制御手段による全ユニットの前記電源線の電位の高電位から低電位への切換え動作を、前記映像信号線の電位が前記高電位から前記中間電位に切り替わった後から、前記映像信号線の電位が前記中間電位から前記低電位に切り替わるまでの間に行う

前記パネルは、
電流に応じて発光する発光素子と、映像信号をサンプリングするサンプリング用トランジスタと、前記発光素子に前記電流を供給する駆動用トランジスタと、所定の電位を保持する保持容量とを有する画素が行列状に配置されており、
同一行に存在する前記画素に対して電源の信号を伝搬する電源線と走査線の信号を伝搬する走査線とがそれぞれ各行毎に配置されており、
前記電源線を複数本集合させたユニット毎に、同一ユニットに属する複数本の前記電源線の電位を一斉に切換える電源線電位制御手段と、
各行毎に、前記走査線の電位を低電位から高電位に切換えることで、前記保持容量への前記映像信号の信号電位の書き込みを開始させ、前記走査線の電位を高電位から低電位に切換えることで、前記書き込みを終了させるとともに前記画素の発光を開始させる走査線電位制御手段と
を有し、
前記映像信号線の電位としては、前記書き込みが行われる前の低電位、前記書き込みが行われるときの高電位、および、前記書き込みが行われた後の中間電位がその順番で繰り返し切り替えられ、
前記電源線電位制御手段による全ユニットの前記電源線の電位の高電位から低電位への切換え動作を、前記映像信号線の電位が前記高電位から前記中間電位に切り替わった後から、前記映像信号線の電位が前記中間電位から前記低電位に切り替わるまでの間に行う
