本明細書に開示された実施形態は、概して連続可変変速機に関し、より詳細には連続可変変速機(CVT)のための方法、組立品、および構成要素に関する。
連続可変変速機は、人々が有限設備の代わりに伝達比の連続範囲を有することの利点および長所を理解しているので、より人気が高くなっている。入力速度対出力速度の連続可変比を達成するために周知の方法がある。典型的には、CVTにおいて出力速度対入力速度の速度比を調節するための機構はバリエータとして公知であり、制御システムは所望の速度比が作動中に達成できるようにバリエータを管理する。ベルト式CVTでは、バリエータはベルトによって結合された2つの調節可能なプーリからなる。ベルト式CVTにとっての欠点は、駆動軸および被駆動軸の2つの軸の必要性であり、2つの軸は互いにずれており、同軸ではない。シングルキャビティ式トロイダルCVTでは、バリエータは、通常シャフトを中心に回転する2つの部分的にトロイダル式の変速機ディスクと、シャフトに垂直のそれぞれの軸線上で回転し、入力変速機ディスクと出力変速機ディスクとの間にクランプされる、2つ以上のディスク形状の動力ローラとを有する。トロイダル式CVTの一般的な問題点は、頑強で動的な軸方向力発生システムを必要とする力のばらつきである。追加費用およびシステムの複雑性に加えて、これらの軸方向力発生システムはCVTに追加の寄生損失を加える。

- 複数の遊星と前記第1のステータとの間に介設されたタイミングプレートをさらに含み、前記タイミングプレートは、第1のタイミングスロット表面および第2のタイミングスロット表面によって形成された複数のタイミングスロットを有する、請求項5に記載のステータ組立品。
