前記入力軸(12)の回転及び前記無段変速回転を合成して動力循環する動力循環機構(6)と、
前記動力循環機構(6)を介した回転を出力軸(16)に伝達自在にするロークラッチ(L)を係合するローモード、及び前記無段変速装置(5)の無段変速回転を前記出力軸(16)に伝達自在にするハイクラッチ(H)を係合するハイモードをモード切換えし得るロー・ハイ切換え機構(10)と、を備え、
前記パワーローラ(4,4)に生じるトラクション力に対する反力を前記回転傾斜支持部(30)を介して前記流体アクチュエータ(22)の液圧により出力し、且つ前記ローモードと前記ハイモードとを切換える際に前記流体アクチュエータ(22)が出力する反力の方向が切換わる無段変速機(1)において、
前記モード切換えを行うべき切換え点に達した際に、前記ハイクラッチ(H)及び前記ロークラッチ(L)のうちの解放されていたクラッチを係合させる係合制御を開始する係合制御手段(37)と、
前記係合制御手段(37)による前記係合制御中に、前記流体アクチュエータ(22)に供給する液圧を制御して、前記反力の方向を切換える反力切換え制御を開始する反力切換え制御手段(38)と、を備えた、
ことを特徴とする無段変速機(1)がある。
前記ハイクラッチ(H)の入力側部材(19)と前記ロークラッチ(L)の入力側部材(17)との間に介在され、前記ハイクラッチ(H)の入力側部材(19)の回転が前記ロークラッチ(L)の入力側部材(17)の回転より低回転となることを規制するワンウェイクラッチ(20)と、を備えてなる、と好適である。
Claims (4)
- 入力軸に連結された入力ディスク、バリエータ出力回転を出力する出力ディスク、これら一軸状に配置された両ディスクに挟持され無段変速比により一方のディスクから他方のディスクに動力伝達を行うと共に、軸回りに回転可能かつ前記入力及び出力ディスクに対して相対的に傾斜して変速比を変更できるようにキャリヤに取付けられた少なくとも1つのパワーローラ、前記入力及び出力ディスクの動きにより前記パワーローラに生じるトラクション力に対する反力を作用する差圧によって前記キャリヤに付与する流体アクチュエータ、を有するバリエータと、
前記入力軸の回転及び前記バリエータ出力回転が入力され、これらの入力回転に基づく出力回転を出力する動力循環装置と、
ロークラッチ及びハイクラッチを有し、(a)前記ロークラッチを係合して前記動力循環装置の出力回転を出力軸に出力するローモードと、(b)前記ハイクラッチを係合して前記バリエータ出力回転を前記出力軸に出力するハイモードとを切換えるロー・ハイ切換え機構と、を備え、前記ローモード及びハイモードの切換え中に、前記流体アクチュエータの反力の方向を反転させるフルトロイダル式無段変速機において、
前記ハイクラッチの入力側部材と前記ロークラッチの入力側部材との間に介在され、前記ハイクラッチの入力側部材の回転が前記ロークラッチの入力側部材の回転より低回転となることを規制するワンウェイクラッチと、
モード切換えを行うべき切換え点に達した際に、前記ハイクラッチ及び前記ロークラッチのうちの解放されていたクラッチの係合を開始する係合制御手段と、
前記モード切換え前に係合されていたクラッチの解放を制御する解放制御手段と、
前記解放されていたクラッチの係合制御中に、前記反力の方向の反転を開始する反力切換え制御手段と、を更に備え、
前記モード切換えを行うために前記バリエータの変速比が所定の変速比に維持されている期間内に、前記反力切換え制御手段による前記反力の方向の反転が開始されかつ該反転が完了し、前記係合制御手段による前記解放されていたクラッチの係合が開始されかつ該クラッチの係合が完了し、前記解放制御手段による前記係合されていたクラッチの解放を開始してなる、
ことを特徴とするフルトロイダル式無段変速機。 - 前記反力切換え制御手段は、前記係合制御手段による係合制御が完了する前に、前記反力方向の反転を完了してなる、
請求項1記載のフルトロイダル式無段変速機。 - 前記解放制御手段は、前記反力の反転及び解放されていたクラッチの係合の双方が完了した状態で、前記モード切換え前に係合されていたクラッチの解放を開始する、
請求項1又は2記載のフルトロイダル式無段変速機。 - 前記バリエータ出力回転を反転して前記ハイクラッチの入力側部材に伝達する反転機構を備えた、
請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載のフルトロイダル式無段変速機。
