Abstract
Description

挿入チューブを製造する沈設法は、チューブの様々な領域の剛性の制御を可能にする。チューブの被覆物(シースとしても知られる)の基礎材料を構成する様々な粘性の液体を使用することで、チューブの剛性を制御することができる。ある実施形態では、被覆物を熱可塑性ポリウレタンとすることができる。また、シースの一部を編み上げホース型とすることができる。ある実施形態では、ステンレス鋼、合成材料、ケブラー(登録商標)又は当業者が既知の他の任意の材料を使用して編み上げホースを製造することができる。ある実施形態では、使用される編み上げホースの種類(ワイヤの直径、ボビンごとのワイヤの数、キャリアの数)も、チューブの剛性に影響を及ぼす。さらに、平面コイルを挿入チューブに対するフレームワークとして使用して、チューブの剛性を制御することができる。ある実施形態では、ステンレス鋼、銅又は平面コイルを製造するための他の任意の既知の材料を用いて、平面コイルを製造することができる。沈設法の利点は、この方法によって製造された挿入チューブでは追加のコーティングが不要であることである。
この方法は、編み上げホース及び平面渦線を有する挿入チューブの剛性の制御を維持する際に利点をもたらす。利点の1つには、挿入チューブとそのメッシュ(被覆物のために使用される)との接続の品質を向上させることが含まれる。向上した接続の質によって、シースがチューブの組みひもに取り付けていることを確保し、ひいてはビーズ(beads)の広範囲にわたる形状が挿入チューブで狭い半径で屈曲する。管状組みひもの表面処理及び/又は押出加工の使用によって、ケーシングの均一な厚さを達成する。このことはまた、剛性領域の剛性の均一性の向上をもたらす。他の利点は、挿入チューブが様々な製造単位間で一定の剛性を持つことである。その結果、この方法を用いた生産における不良率がより少なくなる。また、この方法によって製造されたチューブは、比較的により滑らかな表面を持つことができる。この方法によって製造された挿入チューブはまた、追加のコーティングが不要である。
この方法では、平面コイルに編み上げホースを設け、熱収縮チューブで被覆し、続いて最大限の収縮に達するまでオーブンで焼く。この方法によって、平面コイル及び編み上げホースの特性を相違させることで、剛性を変化させることができる。
Claims (18)
- 挿入部と前記挿入部の先端側端部に存在する屈曲部とを含み、前記挿入部は前記挿入部の手元側端部でハンドルに接続される、内視鏡アセンブリであり、
前記内視鏡アセンブリの長手方向軸線の周りを回転するように構成されるネジと、
前記ネジと物理的に接続され、前記ネジの回転とともに、前記内視鏡アセンブリの前記長手方向軸線に沿って先端方向及び手元方向の少なくとも一方向へ移動するように構成されるハウジングと、
前記前記ハウジング内に配置されるストッパと、
手元側端部及び先端側端部を有するワイヤであり、前記ワイヤの前記手元側端部は前記ストッパに接続され、前記ワイヤは前記挿入部の丈に沿って延在し、前記ワイヤの前記先端側端部は前記屈曲部の手元側端部に接続され、前記ネジが回転するとともに前記挿入部の先端側端部に向かう時に、前記ワイヤは前記挿入部を硬くする、ワイヤと、
を備える内視鏡アセンブリ。 - 前記ワイヤは前記挿入部の内周に固定されたコイルの内側に配置される、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。
- 前記ネジ、内部ハウジング、前記ストッパ及び前記ワイヤの少なくとも1つを含むハウジングを更に備える、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。

- 前記ハウジングの手元方向への移動によって前記ストッパが手元方向に移動し、前記ハウジングの先端方向への移動によって前記ストッパが先端方向に移動するように、前記ストッパが前記ハウジング内で構成される、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。
- 前記ワイヤの移動によって、コイルのピッチ、伸張の程度、圧縮の程度及び柔軟性の少なくとも1つが変わる、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。
- 前記ワイヤの移動によって、前記屈曲部の引張強度、柔軟性又は圧縮性の少なくとも1つが変わる、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。
- 前記ハウジングは、前記ネジの長手方向軸線周りに配置され、前記長手方向軸線に沿って長手方向に移動するように構成される、請求項1に記載の内視鏡アセンブリ。
