Abstract
Description
i)画像の前記ディスプレイに対する表示層と、
ii)前記表示層に表示される前記画像の視野角を操作する編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段と、を含み、
少なくとも2つの画像が前記表示層においてインターレース化されて表示される場合に、インターレース化される画像の各構成画像は、前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段によって決定される一又は複数の視野角を与えられるようになっていることを特徴とするマルチ視野ディスプレイを構成することが開示される。
画像の表示のために適合した表示層であって、前記適合した表示層が少なくとも2つの異なる指定される視野角のインターレース化される画素を含む適合した表示層を含み、
少なくとも2つの画像が前記適合した表示層にインターレース化されて表示されるとき、インターレース化された画像の各構成画像は、インターレース化されて指定される視野角が画素の視野角によって決定される一又は複数の視野角に与えられるようになっているマルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
i)画像の表示のために適合した表示層であって、前記適合した表示層は、ii)少なくとも2つの異なる指定される視野角のインターレース化される画素と、iii)編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段と、を含むことを特徴とする適合した表示層を含み、
少なくとも2つの画像は前記適合した表示層にインターレース化されて表示されるとき、インターレース化された画像の各構成画素は、前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段と組み合わせて前記インターレース化されて指定される視野角が画素の視野角によって決定される一又は複数の視野角に提供されることを特徴とするマルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
i)画像の表示のための少なくとも2つの表示層であって、前記表示層は実質的に平面で少なくとも部分的に重なっており、一方の表示層に重なる表示層は選択的に透明であることを特徴とする少なくとも2つの表示層と、
ii)少なくとも1つの前記表示層において動作し、それによってその後ろの前記表示装置に表示される画像の前記視野角を操作する編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段と、を含み、
少なくとも2つの画像がインターレース化され、前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段が動作している表示層に表示されるとき、(前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段が動作している)前記層に表示されるインターレース化された画像の各構成画像は、前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段によって決定される一又は複数の視野角で提供されるようになっていることを特徴とする多層マルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
画像の表示のための少なくとも2つの表示層であって、前記表示層は実質的に平面で少なくとも一部分重複しており、一方の表示層に重複する表示層は選択的に透明であることを特徴とする少なくとも2つの表示層を含み、
少なくとも1つの前記表示層が、視野角の画素として指定される画素を含む適合した表示層であり、
少なくとも1つの適合した表示層に表示される画像は、前記指定される視野角の画素の視野角に提供されるようになっていることを特徴とする多層マルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
i)画像の表示のための少なくとも2つの表示層であって、前記表示層は実質的に平面で少なくとも一部分重複しており、一方の表示層に重複する表示層は選択的に透明であることを特徴とする少なくとも2つの表示層と、
ii)少なくとも1つの表示に基づいて動作し、少なくとも1つの表示の後ろに配置される広視野角を有する視野角操作手段と、を含み、
前記視野角操作手段が動作している表示層に表示される画像は、前記視野角操作手段によって決定される視野角に提供されるようになっていることを特徴とする多層マルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
画像の表示のための少なくとも2つの表示層であって、前記表示層は実質的に平面で少なくとも一部分重複しており、一方の表示層に重複する表示層は選択的に透明であることを特徴とする少なくとも2つの表示層を含み、
少なくとも1つの表示層は、インターレース化される少なくとも2つの異なる指定される視野角の画素を含む適合した表示層であり、(もしあれば)前記適合した表示層の後ろの全ての層は、適合した表示層であり、
また、その後ろの前記適合した表示層に基づいて動作する少なくとも1つの編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段を含み、
少なくとも2つの画像は、前記適合した表示層に基づいてインターレース化されて表示されるとき、インターレース化された画像の各構成画像は、前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段を組み合わせてインターレース化されて指定される視野角が画素の視野角によって決定される視野角に提供されるようになっている多層マルチ視野ディスプレイから成ることが開示される。
i)編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段が動作する表示層にインターレース化された画像を表示するステップと、
ii)(もしあれば)編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段が動作しないいずれかの表示層にノンインターレースの(non-interlaced)画像を表示するステップと、を特徴とする方法を含んでいる。
i)インターレース化された画像を表示層に送信するステップであって、前記表示層は、それ(それら)に基づいて動作する編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段を有し、前記インターレース化された画像は、前記インターレース化された画像の構成画像を異なる視野角に提供するための前記編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段によって動作するようになっているステップと、
ii)(もしあれば)(インターレース化されていない)画像データを編組しない(un-braiding)視野角操作手段が動作しない表示層に送信するステップであって、前記画像データは前記表示層に特有の視野角に画像を表示するために前記表示構成部品によって用いられるようになっているステップと、を実行させるようになっていることを特徴とする表示ソフトウェアを含んでいる。
Claims (13)
- 第1の実質的に平面の表示層と、
少なくとも一部分が重なり合い、それに実質的に平行に配置される第2の平面の表示層と、を備えている多層ディスプレイであって、
前記第1及び第2の表示層は、第1及び第2のビデオ画像それぞれをそれに表示することができ、前記第2の層の透過性は、前記第2の表示層を通る前記第1の表示層の重なり合う部分の可視度を制御するように調整可能であり、
前記第1及び第2の表示層は、その上に表示される画像を前記第1及び第2の方向又は方向の範囲それぞれに方向付けする画像指向手段を含んでおり、前記第1及び第2の表示層に表示される画像は、第1及び第2の視野角又は視野角の範囲それぞれにのみ視聴できるようになっており、
前記第1及び第2の視野角又は視野角の範囲は同一ではないことを特徴とする多層ディスプレイ。 - 前記第1及び第2の表示層は、両者とも液晶表示層であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 拡散手段が重なり合う部分の第1及び第2の表示層の間に提供され、その間のモアレ干渉を削減することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の表示層の視野角又は視野角の範囲と、前記第2の表示層の視野角又は視野角の範囲との間に重なりがないことを特徴とする上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 前記第1の表示層の視野角又は視野角の範囲と、前記第2の表示層の視野角又は視野角の範囲との間に重なりがあることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 視野角エンハンス手段が前記第1及び第2の表示層の少なくとも1つに与えられ、前記少なくとも1つの表示層に表示される画像が表示できる視野角の範囲を拡大することを特徴とする上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 前記視野角エンハンス手段は、前記表示層の1つの前に配置される広視野角拡散板を備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 前記画像指向手段は、
i)光制御フィルム
ii)ホログラフィック拡散フィルム
iii)プリズム状のフィルム
iv)パララックスバリア、及び/又は
v)レンティクラレンズ
の少なくとも1つの備えている上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。 - 前記画像指向手段は、少なくとも1つの前記第1又は第2の表示層内の液晶のセル構造を制御することを特徴とする上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 前記画像指向手段は、少なくとも1つの前記第1又は第2の表示層内の液晶分子を、その表示層の表面に対して所定の角度で整列させることによって形成されることを特徴とする上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 一の表示層に表示される画像は、別々のインターレース化された第1次の及び第2次の画像から構成され、視野角従属のフィルタリング手段は前記表示層の前に与えられ、
前記第1次の画像は第1次の視野角の範囲から視聴可能であり、前記第2次の画像は第2次の視野角の範囲から視聴可能であり、
第1次の視野角の前記範囲は、他の表示層の前記第1又は第2の視野角の範囲のいずれかと重なっており、第2次の視野角の前記範囲は、他の表示層の前記第2又は第1の視野角の範囲と重なっていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。 - 前記視野角従属のフィルタリング手段は、レンズストライプパターンを備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の多層ディスプレイ。
- 付加的な実質的に平面の選択的に透明な表示層は、前記第1及び第2の表示層と重ねられて前記第2の表示層の下に与えられていることを特徴とする上記請求項のいずれか1つに記載の多層ディスプレイ。
