Description
本発明において、ポリエステル樹脂(A)は、LED部品素材などの製造工程において、高い温度での耐熱性及び機械的物性を向上させるために使用することができる。当該ポリエステル樹脂は、高分子骨格に環状の構造を含み、高い融点を有することができる。当該ポリエステル樹脂の融点は、200℃以上であり、220℃〜380℃であることが好ましく、260℃〜320℃であることがより好ましい。当該ポリエステル樹脂の融点が380℃を超えると、加工性が低下し得る。
当該ポリエステル樹脂は、ポリシクロヘキサンジメチレンテレフタレート(PCT)系樹脂であることが好ましい。
本発明において、白色顔料は、白色度及び反射率を高めるために使用することができる。
本発明において、シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体は、組成物内の他の成分との組み合わせで長期間反射率及び耐変色特性を低下させないと共に、耐衝撃性を向上させるために使用することができる。
SK Chemical社のPCT 0302を使用した。
Tronox社のCR―470を使用した。
シリコーン含量が65重量%である日本KANEKA社のKANE ACETM MR―01を使用した。
オーウェンスコーニング社の910を使用した。
上述した各構成成分を用いて、下記の表1に示した組成のようにドライブレンド(dry blending)することによって熱可塑性樹脂組成物を製造した後、Φ=45mmである二軸押出機を使用して、ノズル温度250℃〜350℃で加工することによってペレットを製造した。前記製造されたペレットは、100℃で4時間以上乾燥し、水平射出機(射出温度280℃〜320℃)を用いて、90mm×50mm×2.5mmサイズの試片を製造した後で物性を評価し、その結果を表1に示した。
基礎樹脂に対するシリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)の使用量を除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で実施した。
シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)を入れないことを除いては、実施例1と同様の方法で実施した。
1)アイゾット(Izod)衝撃強度
ASTM D256に基づいて1/8"厚のノッチなし(unnotched)試片に対して、23℃で衝撃強度を測定した。
板形態の試片を用いて450nm波長での反射率を測定した。最初反射率(SCI、specular component included)を測定し、170℃及び相対湿度85%条件の恒温恒湿オーブンで450nm波長を有するLED光源を200時間及び500時間照射した後の反射率を測定し、反射率の維持特性を評価した。反射率測定機として、ミノルタ(株)(KONICA MINOLTA HOLDINGS、INC.)のCM3600 CIE Lab.色差計を使用した。

- ポリエステル樹脂(A)、白色顔料(B)、及びシリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)を含み、前記ポリエステル樹脂(A)は、芳香族ジカルボン酸成分と、脂環式ジオールを含むジオール成分との縮合重合体を含み、
前記シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)は、シリコーン系ゴムのコアにビニル系単量体をグラフト重合することによってシェルを形成したコア−シェル構造であり、
前記シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)のシリコーン含量は、前記シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体全体の重量に対して20重量%〜85重量%である、熱可塑性樹脂組成物からなる、450nmの初期反射率が93.2%以上であるLED用反射板。 - 前記組成物は、前記ポリエステル樹脂(A)30重量%〜80重量%、および前記白色顔料(B)20重量%〜70重量%からなる基礎樹脂100重量部に対して、前記シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)を0.1重量部〜10重量部含む、請求項1に記載のLED用反射板。
- 前記シリコーン含有グラフト共重合体(C)は、シリコーン系ゴムがヘキサメチルシクロトリシロキサン、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン、トリメチルトリフェニルシクロシロキサン、テトラメチルテトラフェニルシクロテトラシロキサン及びオクタフェニルシクロテトラシロキサンからなる群から選ばれるいずれか一つ又は二つ以上の混合物であるシクロシロキサン系化合物から製造される、請求項1または2に記載のLED用反射板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A)は、ポリシクロヘキサンジメチレンテレフタレート(PCT)樹脂である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のLED用反射板。
- 前記ポリエステル樹脂(A)は、ジオール成分として1,4−シクロヘキサンジメタノール15モル%〜100モル%及びエチレングリコール0モル%〜85モル%を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のLED用反射板。

- 前記成形品は、色差計で450nm波長の初期反射率を測定し、85℃、湿度85%でLED光源下に500時間放置した後、反射率の差が10以下である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のLED用反射板。
