Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Versiegeln einer Bauplatte aus Holz oder einem Holzwerkstoff mit einer Oberseite und einer Unterseite.
- Bauplatten kommen als Bodenplatten, beispielsweise als Parkett, als Schalungsplatten oder als Platten für den Möbelbau in Frage. Diese Platten sind aus Massivholz, insbesondere stäbchenverleimt, oder bestehen aus einem Kern aus Holzwerkstoff, beispielsweise MDF, HDF oder Spanplatte, auf den ein Echtholzfurnier aufgeleimt ist. Als Schalungsplatten werden hauptsächlich OSB-Platten (Oriented Strand Board) verwendet.
- Die Oberfläche dieser Platten muss versiegelt werden, um sie vor Umwelteinflüssen zu bewahren. Insbesondere das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit bei Bodenplatten muss verhindert werden. Hierzu wird die Oberfläche der Platte häufig lackiert. Lack ist relativ weich und insbesondere bei Parkettböden unterliegt die Lackschicht einem Verschleiß, so dass der Boden häufig neu versiegelt werden muss, was in geschlossenen Räumen mit entsprechenden Unannehmlichkeiten verbunden ist, da die alte Lackschicht abgeschliffen werden muss, bevor eine neue aufgebracht werden kann. Die feinen Schleifstäube setzen sich überall fest und müssen anschließend mühsam entfernt werden.
- Laminat-Paneele sind mit einer Kunstharzschicht versiegelt. Zur Herstellung von Laminat-Paneelen wird auf eine Trägerplatte aus MDF, HDF oder Span eine mit einem Dekor bedruckte Papierbahn aufgelegt, auf die ein Overlay, eine Lage aus Kunstharz oder eine mit Kunstharz getränkte Papierschicht aufgelegt wird. Anschließend wird die Platte unter Hitzeeinwirkung verpresst, wodurch sich das Overlay unter Einschluss der Papierlage mit der Oberfläche der Platte verbindet. In das vorgefertigte Overlay sind bei Bodenplatten zur Erhöhung der Abriebfestigkeit Korundpartikel eingeschlossen. Aus der so hergestellten Platte werden dann einzelne Paneele herausgesägt.
- Gegenüber einem Lack ist ein Harz nicht nur kostengünstiger, sondern auch härter. Das Auflegen der Papierbahn bzw. des vorgefertigten Overlays auf die Oberseite der Holzwerkstoffplatte muss sorgfältig erfolgen. Das Handling der sehr dünnen Schichten ist kompliziert und erfordert entsprechend präzise arbeitende Maschinenanlagen, damit sichergestellt ist, dass von einem Stapel immer nur eine einzelne Lage des Oberlays abgehoben wird. Bei einer Laminatplatte muss die Unterseite mit einem sogenannten Unterzug beschichtet werden, der von der Dekorseite herrührende Zugspannungen auf den Plattenkern ausgleicht, um ein Verbiegen der Platte, insbesondere der später ausgesägten Paneele in Längsrichtung zu verhindern.
- Aus der
EP -B1- 0 560 870 ist eine Parkettstruktur bekannt, bei der unterhalb der den Oberflächenlack bildenden Firnisschicht ein Füllharz oder Lack in das Innere und in die Zwischenräume der vertikalen Holzmaserung einimprägniert ist, wobei die Menge des Lackes, bezogen auf die Menge des Parkettfirnisses ein Vielfaches beträgt. Nachdem das Füllharz eingedrungen ist, werden die Bretter vorgeheizt und absorbieren nach dem Abkühlen das Harz bis in eine ausreichende Tiefe, so dass eine "Sperrschicht" ausgebildet wird, die beim späteren Versiegeln des Parkettes ein zu tiefes Eindringen des teuren Firnisses verhindert. Durch diese Maßnahme wird bei gleich bleibendem Firnisverbrauch eine gegenüber herkömmlich versiegeltem Parkett härtere Oberfläche erzielt. - Aus der
DE -C2- 37 35 368 ist es bekannt, auf eine Materialplatte eine pulverförmige Harzschicht aufzustreuen, auf die anschließend noch Einlagestücke aufgebracht werden. Anschließend wird die Pulverschicht warm verpresst, um das Harz zu schmelzen und mit der Platte zu verbinden. - Von dieser Problemstellung ausgehend soll ein Verfahren zum Versiegeln einer Bauplatte aus Holz oder einem Holzwerkstoff mit einer Echtholzoberfläche angegeben werden, mit dem die von Laminatplatten bekannte verschleißfeste Oberfläche erzielbar ist, das aber einfacher und schneller ausgeführt werden kann.
- Die Problemlösung erfolgt durch folgende Schritte:
- a) Auftragen von flüssigem Harz auf die Oberseite,
- b) Trocknen des Harzes,
- c) Verpressen der Bauplatte unter Temperatureinfluss, wobei das Harz zumindest teilweise schmilzt.
- Das flüssige Harz kann aufgewalzt, aufgesprüht oder aufgegossen werden. Es ist wesentlich einfacher zu handhaben, als eine vorgefertigte Harzlage. Wird die Harzschicht entsprechend dick aufgetragen, stellt sich die von Laminatplatten bekannte Oberflächenhärte ein. Es kann also eine Bauplatte geschaffen werden, die die positiven Eigenschaften von Massivholz bzw. furniertem Holzwerkstoff mit den positiven Eigenschaften von Laminat vereinbart. Durch das wesentlich härtere Harz wird die sehr hohe Verschleißfestigkeit erzeugt, die noch gesteigert werden kann, indem in das flüssige Harz Korundpartikel eingemischt oder eingestreut werden.
- Durch die Verwendung entsprechend polierter Pressfläche in der Presse können beim Verpressen der Bauplatte Glanzgrade eingestellt werden. Ein hochglanzpoliertes Pressblech führt zu einer hochglänzenden oder gar spiegelnden Oberfläche. Hierdurch lassen sich besonders schöne optische Effekte erzielen. Vor dem Aufbringen der Harzschicht kann eine OSB-Platte gespachtelt werden, um Unebenheiten in der Oberfläche zu beseitigen.
- Auf dieselbe Art und Weise kann auch die Unterseite der Bauplatte versiegelt werden. Dann können insbesondere OSB-Platten, die eine sehr hohe Festigkeit aufweisen, als Betonschalungsplatten verwendet werden. Die Kunstharzschicht verhindert nicht nur das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit in die Schalungsplatte, sondern erhöht auch ihre Lebensdauer aufgrund der Härte der Oberfläche.
- Das Harz kann in mehreren Schichten aufgetragen werden, wobei jede Schicht vor dem Auftragen einer nächsten getrocknet wird.
- Vorzugsweise ist das Harz ein Kunstharz, insbesondere Melaminharz.
- Um besondere optische Effekte zu erzielen, kann das Harz eingefärbt sein. Auf der Oberseite und/oder Unterseite kann zwischen den Harzschichten eine Farbschicht aufgetragen werden. Die Farbschicht kann aufgedruckt werden. Das hat den Vorteil, dass das Dekor auch noch veredelt werden kann. Beispielsweise kann auf ein Kiefernfurnier ein Eiche- oder Palisanderdekor mit entsprechender Maserung und Farbgebung aufgedruckt werden, wodurch die Echtholzoberfläche aufgewertet wird.
- Beim Verpressen kann in die Harzschicht ein Relief eingeprägt werden, das zu dem Dekor (der Holzmaserung) korrespondiert, um die Haptik der versiegelten Oberfläche an die von unversiegeltem Holz anzupassen.
- Auch können weitere Füllstoffe in die Harzschicht eingemischt oder auf einzelne Schichten aufgestreut werden. Durch Aufbringen einer solchen Schicht an der Unterseite können hierdurch beispielsweise die Trittschalleigenschaften einer Bodenplatte verbessert werden.
- Die Ober- und die Unterseite werden vorzugsweise gleichzeitig beschichtet. Dadurch werden nicht nur völlig neue und verbesserte Produkteigenschaften erzielt, sondern gleichzeitig werden auch die Kosten für die Herstellung der Bauplatte wesentlich gesenkt.
Claims (10)
- Verfahren zum Versiegeln einer Bauplatte aus Holz oder einem Holzwerkstoff mit einer Oberseite und einer Unterseite mit folgenden Schritten:a) Auftragen von flüssigem Harz auf die Oberseite,b) Trocknen des Harzes,c) Verpressen der Bauplatte unter Temperatureinfluss, wobei das Harz zumindest teilweise schmilzt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, mit folgenden Schritten:d) Auftragen von flüssigem Harz auf die Unterseite,e) Trocknen des Harzes,f) Verpressen der Bauplatte unter Temperatureinfluss, wobei das Harz zumindest teilweise schmilzt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Harz in mehreren Schichten aufgetragen wird und jede Schicht vor dem Auftragen einer nächsten getrocknet wird.
- Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Harz ein Kunstharz, insbesondere Melaminharz ist.
- Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Harz eingefärbt ist.
- Verfahren nach einem oder mehreren der vorstehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf der Oberseite und/oder der Unterseite unter oder zwischen den Harzschichten eine Farbschicht aufgetragen wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beim Verpressen in die Harzschicht ein Relief eingeprägt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in die Harzschicht Korund eingemischt oder eingestreut ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Versiegeln auf der Oberseite und auf der Unterseite gleichzeitig erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verpressen in einer Durchlaufpresse erfolgt.
