- 血管から閉塞血餅を除去するための血餅回収デバイスであって、
折りたたまれた送達形態と、拡張された展開形態とを有する細長い内側本体と、
少なくとも部分的に前記細長い内側本体の上に重なる細長い外側本体であって、血餅受け入れ空間を画定するために前記展開形態において当該細長い内側本体の半径方向範囲より大きな半径方向範囲まで拡張可能な細長い外側本体と、
を備え、
前記細長い外側本体は、遠位端部分を備え、
前記細長い内側本体は、主本体部分と、前記展開形態において当該主本体部分より大きな範囲にまで当該細長い外側本体に向けて延びる遠位部分と、を備え、
前記細長い内側本体の前記遠位部分は、ストラットの隆起した骨組みを備え、
ストラットの前記隆起した骨組みは、螺旋形に構成されたストラットを備え、
ストラットの前記隆起した骨組みの当該ストラットの各々の前記遠位部分は、単一の接続点で終端する、血餅回収デバイス。 - 前記細長い内側本体の前記遠位部分は、立体的パターンで構成された複数のストラットを備える、請求項1に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記細長い外側本体の前記遠位端部分は、遠位ストラットを備える、請求項1又は2に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記細長い外側本体の前記遠位端部分の前記遠位ストラットは、略円錐形状で構成される、請求項3に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記ストラットの少なくともいくつかは、ファイバの受け入れのための、小穴などの取り付け点を備え、
選択的には、前記保護構造は、遠位ネットを提供する複数のファイバを含む、請求項2乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。 - 前記細長い外側本体は、第1のモノリシック構造を備える、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記細長い内側本体は、第2のモノリシック構造を備える、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記細長い内側本体は、前記細長い外側本体の近位端の近位方向に延びる、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
- 前記細長い外側本体は、複数の血餅受け入れ開口と、複数の血餅係合領域とを備え、
前記血餅係合領域は、血餅との係合時に、血餅を前記血餅受け入れ開口に向けて、前記細長い外側本体と前記細長い内側本体との間の前記血餅受け入れ空間へと押しやるように構成され、
選択的には、前記細長い外側本体の前記血餅係合領域は、骨格開口(scaffolding openings)を備え、
前記血餅受け入れ開口は、前記骨格開口より大きい、請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。 - 前記細長い外側本体は、少なくとも2つの長手方向に離間されたセグメントを備え、
選択的には、少なくとも一つのヒンジが前記セグメントの間に設けられる、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の血餅回収デバイス。
