Description
本出願は、2015年5月7日に出願された米国仮出願62/158,348号に対する優先権を主張する。この出願の全体的な内容は引用により本願にも含まれるものとする。
1. ナイフを用いて、バルクロールからテスト対象のサンプルの織布1枚を切断する。例えばサンプルは、長さが40〜60cm、幅が20cm以下とすればよい。
2. ペンを用いて、測定のため、縦糸及び横糸の双方の方向に様々な長さの複数の線を引く。例えば、50mm〜10mmまでの様々な長さの4〜6本の線を引く。
3. カリパスを用いて、各線の長さを10分の1ミリメートルまで精密に測定し、値を記録する。
4. 織布の両側を加熱するように構成された2枚の加熱された板を200±3℃に設定する。板間の間隔は約3mmとする。
5. 板間の間隔に織布を75±1秒だけ挿入する。
6. 板からサンプルを取り出した後、約2分間冷却する。
7. カリパスを用いて、各線を再び測定し、結果を記録する。
8. 式(1)に従って、測定した各線について収縮率を計算する。
Claims (15)
- 第1の側方カーカス部と、前記第1の側方カーカス部から間隔を置いて配置された第2の側方カーカス部と、前記第1及び第2の側方カーカス部の間に延びる概ね均一の厚さの中央カーカス部と、を含み、前記第1及び第2の側方カーカス部の周囲で厚さが徐々に薄くなるカーカスであって、前記中央カーカス部は上方内面を画定し、前記第1及び第2の側方カーカス部は、前記上方内面の両側でこれに接している第1及び第2の凹状内面をそれぞれ画定する、カーカスと、
前記中央カーカス部内に配置された伸張防止部と、
前記カーカスに接合されたカバーであって、前記第1の側方カーカス部を覆っている第1の側方カバー部と、前記第2の側方カーカス部を覆っている第2の側方カバー部と、前記中央カーカス部に隣接した、前記第1及び第2の側方カバー部の間に延びる概ね均一な厚さの中央カバー部と、を含み、前記中央カバー部は上方外面を画定し、前記第1及び第2の側方カバー部は、前記上方外面の両側でこれに接している第1及び第2の凸状外面をそれぞれ画定し、前記第1及び第2の側方カバー部は更に、概ね対向する第1及び第2の側方内面をそれぞれ画定し、前記第1及び第2の側方カバー部は更に、前記第1及び第2の凹状内面と前記第1及び第2の側方内面との間に隣接している第1及び第2の下方内面をそれぞれ画定する、カバーと、
少なくとも前記上方内面並びに前記第1及び第2の凹状内面に固定されたスライド層と、を備えたハンドレールであって、
前記ハンドレールの中央幅軸において、前記上方外面と前記スライド層の底面との間の面高さは約8.0mm未満であり、
前記ハンドレールの中央高さ軸において、前記第1及び第2の凸状外面の各々と前記スライド層の各内側面との間の側部厚さ寸法は約7.5mm未満であり、
前記カーカスは第1の熱可塑性材料で形成され、前記カバーは第2の熱可塑性材料で形成され、前記第1の熱可塑性材料は前記第2の熱可塑性材料よりも剛性が高いと共に硬く、前記第1及び第2の側方内面の間の開口幅を維持して所望のリップ剛性を与えるように機能し、
前記第1の熱可塑性材料は、100%伸長の弾性率が12〜15MPaであり、硬度が93〜96ショアAであり、
前記スライド層は、残留収縮が少なくとも7.0%のスパンポリエステルの糸を含む、ハンドレール。 - 前記面高さは7.0mm〜7.5mmである、請求項1に記載のハンドレール。
- 前記側部厚さ寸法は7.0mm〜7.5mmである、請求項2に記載のハンドレール。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性材料は硬度が94〜95ショアAである、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のハンドレール。
- 押し出し成形部分において、前記第1及び第2の側方内面の間の前記開口幅を7mm増大させるために少なくとも10kgのリップ剛性力が必要であり、その測定のために、前記押し出し成形部分の試験片の前記第1及び第2の側方内面それぞれに負荷を加える第1及び第2のあご部材が使用され、前記第1及び第2のあご部材の長さはいずれも約30mmの長さに延びており、前記試験片の長さは前記第1及び第2のあご部材の長さを実質超えている、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のハンドレール。
- 継ぎ合わせ部分において、前記第1及び第2の側方内面の間の前記開口幅を7mm増大させるために少なくとも7kgのリップ剛性力が必要であり、その測定のために、前記継ぎ合わせ部分の試験片の前記第1及び第2の側方内面それぞれに負荷を加える第1及び第2のあご部材が使用され、前記第1及び第2のあご部材の長さはいずれも約30mmの長さに延びており、前記試験片の長さは前記第1及び第2のあご部材の長さを実質超えている、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のハンドレール。
- 前記第1の熱可塑性材料は、メルトフローインデックスが5〜20gのポリエステル熱可塑性ポリウレタンであり、前記第2の熱可塑性材料は、メルトフローインデックスが20〜40gのポリエステル熱可塑性ポリウレタンである、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のハンドレール。
- 平坦部並びに第1及び第2の直立縁部を含むスライド層と、
前記スライド層上で、前記第1及び第2の直立縁部の間で中央に配置されたカーカスであって、概ね長方形で、第1及び第2の縁を含む前記カーカスと、
前記カーカス内に配置された伸張防止部と、
前記カーカスを覆い、前記直立縁部の間に延びているカバーと
を含み、
前記直立縁部の各々と前記カーカスの各前記縁との間で前記カバーが前記スライド層に接触し、
前記カバーは、第1及び第2の隆起部と、前記第1及び第2の隆起部の間の谷を有する上面を含み、
前記谷と前記スライド層の内側面との間の中央高さ寸法は約8.2mmであり、
前記カーカスは、第1の熱可塑性材料で形成され、前記カバーは第2の熱可塑性材料で形成され、前記第1の熱可塑性材料は前記第2の熱可塑性材料よりも剛性が高いと共に硬く、ハンドレールの最終的な所望の外形を得るためのさらなる処理の後、前記第1及び第2の側方内面の間の開口幅を維持して所望のリップ剛性を与えるように機能し、
