Abstract

保護部と画像表示部との間の樹脂硬化物の硬化収縮により生ずる内部応力や、保護部の反りによって画像表示部に附加される外部応力によって生ずる表示ムラ及び樹脂硬化物の剥離が抑制された画像表示装置は、画像表示部と、該画像表示部上に配置された透光性の保護部とを有する。画像表示部と保護部との間に樹脂硬化物層が介在しており、その樹脂硬化物層は、可視光領域の透過率が90%以上、伸び率が25°Cで700%以上且つ80°Cで400%以上、及び保護部に対する密着力が25°Cで0.4N/cm以上且つ80°Cで0.3N/cm以上である。
