Abstract

적어도 2개의 정보층을 가지는 광학정보기록매체에 있어서, 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내홈 및 샘플 피트는 제1기판(1)의 한 표면상에 형성되어 있다. 상기 제1기판(1)상에 입사되는 광선(7)의 일부를 반사하는 박막으로 형성되어 있고, 상기 광선(7)의 일부의 투과를 허용하는 제1정보층(2)은 상기 제1기판(1)의 표면상에 형성되어 있다. 제2기판(3)의 표면상에는 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈이 형성되어 있다. 상기 제1정보층(2)에서보다 더 높은 반사율을 가지는 제2정보층(4)은 상기 제2기판(3)의 표면상에 형성되어 있다. 상기 제1정보층(2)과 상기 제2정보층(4) 사이에는 상기 제1정보층(2)과 상기 제2정보층(4)을 소정거리만큼 서로 떨어져 위치시키기 위한 투명한 분리층(5)이 형성되어 있다.

Claims (38)

  1. 정보층으로부터 정보신호를 재생하거나 또는 상기 정보층상에 정보신호를 기록하고 광선 조사에 의해 상기 기록된 정보신호를 재생할 수 있는, 2개의 정보층을 구비한 광학정보기록매체에 있어서, 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈 및 샘플 피트로 되어 있는 일군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나를 그 일측면에 가지는 제1기판과, 상기 제1기판의 표면상에 형성되어 있으며, 상기 광선에 대해 소정의 투과율 및 반사율을 가지는 제1정보층과, 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈 및 샘플 피트로 되어 있는 일군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나를 그 일측면에 가지는 제2기판과, 상기 제2기판상에 형성되어 있으며 소정의 반사율을 가진 제2정보층과, 상기 제1정보층과 상기 제2정보층 사이에 형성되어 있으며 상기 광선에 대해 투명한 분리층으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판의 두께는 상기 제2기판의 두께와 거의 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 식,

  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 분리층의 두께는 상기 광선을 수렴하는 광학시스템의 초점 심도보다 더 큰 수치로 되어 있고, 상기 광학 시스템에 의해 허용된 베이스 두께의 허용 오차보다 더 작은 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2기판상에는 정보피트 또는 샘플 피트가 형성되어 있고, 상기 제1기판상에 형성된 상기 피트의 형상은 상기 제2기판상에 형성된 상기 피트의 형상과 다른 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 제2기판상에 형성된 상기 피트의 폭은 상기 제1기판상에 형성된 상기 피트의 폭보다 더 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.

  15. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2기판의 표면상에는 정보 피트가 형성되어 있고 상기 제2기판상에 형성된 상기 정보 피트의 단위 면적당 밀도는 상기 제1기판상에 형성된 상기 정보 피트의 단위 면적당 밀도보다 더 작은 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  16. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판 및 제2기판의 표면에는 샘플 피트 또는 안내 홈이 형성되어 있고, 상기 제2기판에 형성된 상기 샘플 피트 또는 상기 안내 홈의 피치는 상기 제1기판에 형성된 상기 샘플 피트 또는 상기 안내 홈의 피치보다 더 짧은 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  17. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기판들의 표면상에는 정보 피트 또는 샘플 피트가 형성되어 있고, 광선입사점에서 보았을 때에 상기 제1기판과 제2기판의 상기 정보 피트의 방향은 광선입사점쪽에서 보았을 때에 서로 반대인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  18. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2기판의 표면상에 형성된 상기 정보 피트, 상기 안내 홈 또는 상기 샘플 피트는 상기 제1 및 제2기판의 중심에 대해 나선 형상으로 형성되어 있고, 상기 제1기판상의 상기 나선의 형상과 제2기판상의 상기 나선의 형상은 광선입사점쪽에서 보았을 때에 서로 같은 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.
  19. 제1항에 따른 한 쌍의 광학 정보기록매체와, 접착층을 구비하고, 상기 광학 정보기록매체쌍의 제2기판들이 상기 접착층을 통해 서로에 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체.

  21. 정보층으로부터 정보신호를 재생하거나 또는 상기 정보층상에 정보신호를 기록하고 광선 조사에 의해 상기 기록된 정보신호를 재생할 수 있는, 2개의 정보층을 가지는 광학정보기록매체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈 및 샘플 피트로 이루어진 일군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 요소를 그 일측면에 가지는 기판상에 소정의 투과율 및 반사율울 가지는 제1정보층을 형성하는 제1막-형성단계와; 정보신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈 및 샘플 피트로 이루어진 일군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 요소를 그 일측면에 가지는 제2기판상에 소정의 반사율을 가진 제2정보층을 형성하는 제2막-형성단계와; 상기 제1정보층 또는 상기 제2정보층의 상부 표면에, 상기 광선에 대해 투명한 수지층을 도포하는 도포단계와; 상기 제1정보층 및 제2정보층을 서로 대향하도록 위치시키고, 상기 수지층을 통해 상기 제1 및 제2정보층을 서로 접착시키는 접착 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조방법.

  26. 제25항에 있어서, 상기 광학 정보기록매체쌍의 상기 제1기판들의 두께는 거의 같고, 또 상기 광학 정보 기록매체쌍의 상기 제2기판들의 두께도 거의 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조방법.
  27. 제1기판을 지지하는 제1기판 지지부와; 제2기판을 지지하도록 상기 제1기판 지지부에 대향하게 위치된 제2기판 지지부와; 상기 제1기판 또는 제2기판의 상부 표면에 수지층을 도포하는 도포부와; 상기 제1기판지지부와 상기 제2기판지지부가 서로 대향하여 있는 평면상에 배치되어 있고, 상기 제1 및 제2기판으로부터 바깥쪽으로 배치되어 있는 스페이서와; 상기 제1기판 지지부 또는 제2기판 지지부를 상승시키고, 상기 제1기판 및 제2기판에 압력을 가하는 가압부로 이루어진 광학 정보기록매체의 제조장치.
  28. 제27항에 있어서, 상기 제1기판과 접촉된 상기 제1기판지지부의 표면에 대향하게 위치시킨 광원을 추가로 포함하며, 상기 제1기판지지부는 광원으로부터 방출된 광의 일부를 투과하는 물질로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조장치.
  29. 제27항에 있어서, 각각의 상기 제1 및 제2기판은 그 중심 부분에 중심 개구를 가지고, 그 한쪽 표면에 동심원 형상 또는 나선 형상의 정보피트 원기둥 또는 안내 홈들을 가지며, 상기 제1기판 지지부와 상기 제2기판 지지부중의 적어도 하나에는 상기 제1기판 및 상기 제2기판의 정보피트 원기둥 또는 안내 홈들의 중심 축을 서로 일치시키도록 중심위치 수정부가 추가로 구비되어 있는 구조를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조장치.
  30. 제27항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2기판 지지부의 중심축위에 각각 위치된 제1 및 제2축 부분과; 상기 기판의 중심 개구에 비해 한쪽 단부는 더 크고 다른쪽 단부는 더 작은 형상을 가진 테이퍼부가 각각 형성되어 있는 제1 및 제2내부-부분 안내부를 추가로 포함하는데, 상기 제1 및 제2내부-부분 안내부는 상기 제1 및 제2축 부분을 따라 이동할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조장치.
  31. 제30항에 있어서, 상기 제1축 부분 또는 상기 제2축 부분중의 하나의 선단에는 돌출된 형상의 테이퍼부가 형성되어 있고, 나머지 다른 하나의 선단에는 오목형상의 테이퍼부가 형성되어 있으며, 상기 돌출된 형상의 테이퍼부와 상기 오목형상의 테이퍼부는 상기 제1 및 제2기판지지부의 상대 위치를 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록매체의 제조장치.
  32. 정보층으로부터 정보 신호를 재생하거나, 또는 상기 정보층상에 정보 신호를 기록하고 상기 기록된 정보신호를 재생하기 위해서, 정보 신호에 대응하는 정보 피트, 추적용 안내 홈, 샘플 피트로 이루어진 일군으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나를 구비한 2개의 다른 정보층을 가진 광학 정보기록매체를 광으로 조사(照射)하는 광학정보기록/재생장치에 있어서, 광원으로부터 방출된 광선을 상기 기록 매체상에 수렴시키는 대물렌즈와; 상기 광선의 초점이 상기 정보층중의 어느 하나와 일치되도록 하는 초점제어기와; 상기 광선이 상기 정보피트, 안내 홈 또는 상기 샘플피트를 따라 진행하도록 상기 광선의 위치를 제어하는 추적 제어기와; 상기 정보 피트를 통해 투과되거나 반사되는 광에 따라서 상기 정보층을 식별하도록 신호를 복조하는 층 식별기와; 상기 정보 신호가 기록 또는 재생성될 정보층을 선택하는 층 선택기와; 상기 층 선택기에 의해 행해진 선택 결과에 따라서, 상기 추적 제어기에 의해 행해지는 추적 방법을 전환시키는 전환수단으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  33. 제32항에 있어서, 상기 층 선택기에 의해 행해진 선택 결과와, 상기 층 식별기에 의해 행해진 식별 결과를 비교하는 층 비교수단과, 상기 비교수단의 출력에 대응하여 상기 정보층들 사이에서 상기 광선의 초점을 이동시키기 위해 펄스 전압을 발생하는 초점 점핑회로를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  34. 제33항에 있어서, 상기 초점 점핑회로의 작동과 동기하여 상기 추적제어기의 극성을 전환시키는 추적극성 반전수단을 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  35. 제32항에 있어서, 상기 초점 제어기는 상기 광선의 초점을 상기 정보층 부근의 지점과 일치시키도록 하는 제1초점제어수단과, 상기 제1초점제어수단의 범위에 비해 더 좁은 범위에서 작동되는 제2초점제어수단과, 상기 제1초점제어수단의 작동이 완료된 후에는 상기 제2초점제어수단으로 전환시키는 초점 전환수단으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  36. 제32항에 있어서, 상기 초점제어기는 각각의 상기 정보층에 적용될 수 있는 적어도 2타입의 가동 상태를 가지며, 상기 층 선택기에 의해 행해진 선택 결과에 따라서 상기 가동상태중의 하나를 선택하도록 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  37. 제32항에 있어서, 상기 추적 제어기는 각각의 상기 정보층에 적용될 수 있는 적어도 2타입의 가동 상태를 가지며, 상기 층 선택기에 의해 행해진 선택 결과에 따라서 상기 가동상태중의 하나를 선택하도록 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보기록/재생장치.
  38. 제32항에 있어서, 상기 기록매체로부터 반사된 광의 일부를 수신하는 제1분할 광 수신면과, 상기 제1분할 광 수신면이 위치된 평면과 동일 평면에서 상기 반사된 광을 수신하고, 또 상기 제1분할 광 수신면의 외측에서 상기 반사된 광을 수신하는 제2분할 광 수신면으로 이루어진 초점제어용 광검출기를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학적 정보기록/재생장치.
