Description
CS≒(CS×DOL)/(厚さ-(2×DOL)) (1)
によりCT値に関連付けられ、式中、厚さは強化ガラス基板の全厚である。特に明記のない限り、CTおよびCSは、ここではメガパスカル(MPa)で表されるのに対し、厚さおよびDOLはミリメートルまたはマイクロメートルで表される。特に明記のない限り、CS値は、表面で測定された値であり、CT値は引張応力値(式1により決定されるような)である。ここに与えられるCS値およびCT値は、絶対値として与えられる。
方法において、
ダイを使用して、平らなガラス基板を非平面形状に冷間成形する工程、および
前記ダイを使用して、複数の非平面地点で、冷間成形された前記ガラス基板を非平面剛性支持構造に結合する工程、
を有してなる方法。

前記結合する工程が、前記ダイが、冷間成形された前記ガラス基板を前記非平面形状に保持している間に、該冷間成形されたガラス基板上に前記非平面剛性支持構造を射出成形することによって行われる、

前記冷間成形されたガラス基板および前記非平面剛性支持構造の少なくとも一方にディスプレイを、該ディスプレイが該冷間成形されたガラス基板の前記開口領域を通じて目に見えるように取り付ける工程をさらに含む、実施形態10に記載の方法。
前記冷間成形する工程の最中または後に、前記ガラス基板の温度が800°F(約427℃)を超えない、実施形態1から11いずれか1つに記載の方法。
前記ガラス基板が強化ガラスからなる、実施形態1から12いずれか1つに記載の方法。
冷間成形され前記たガラス基板が互いに反対の主面を有し、一方の主面に、前記非平面剛性支持構造がない、実施形態1から13いずれか1つに記載の方法。

非平面形状並びに第1の主面および反対の第2の主面であって、互いに異なる表面圧縮応力を有する第1と第2の主面を含む冷間成形されたガラス基板と;
複数の非平面地点で前記第1の主面に結合された非平面剛性支持構造と;

前記非平面剛性支持構造が、前記冷間成形されたガラス基板が前記非平面形状を含んでいる間に、該冷間成形されたガラス基板上に射出成形される、実施形態15に記載の物品。
前記冷間成形されたガラス基板が、前記第1の主面と反対の第2の主面を有し、該第2の主面がコーティングまたは表面処理を含む、実施形態15に記載の物品。
前記冷間成形されたガラス基板と前記非平面剛性支持構造との間に界面のエッジに施されたエッジ接着剤をさらに備える、実施形態15から17いずれか1つに記載の物品。

Claims (7)
- 物品において、
非平面形状、第1の主面および反対の第2の主面を含む冷間成形されたガラス基板と;
前記ガラス基板に結合されているとともに、該ガラス基板を非平面形状に保持するよう構成されている非平面剛性支持構造と;
を備え、
前記冷間成形されたガラス基板のみが、前記物品中でガラス基板であり、
前記冷間成形されたガラス基板が、1つ以上のコーティングまたは表面処理を含む化学強化されたガラスの単一のシートを有し、
前記第1の主面および前記反対の第2の主面が互いに異なる表面圧縮応力を有するにもかかわらず、前記非平面剛性支持構造が前記冷間成形されたガラス基板を非平面形状に保持するよう、前記非平面剛性支持構造は、前記ガラス基板の前記第1の主面に結合されているだけであり、
前記非平面剛性支持構造は、自動車の部品に取り付けられるよう構成されており、

前記冷間成形されたガラス基板のみが、前記物品中で、ガラスシートであり、
前記非平面剛性支持構造が、接着剤なしに、前記第1の主面上に形成されているとともに前記第1の主面に結合している、物品。 - 前記冷間成形されたガラス基板が、前記第1の主面と前記第2の主面との間に延在する小表面を有し、
前記小表面上のエッジインタフェースが、接着剤を含まない、請求項4記載の物品。 - 前記非平面剛性支持構造と前記冷間成形されたガラス基板との間の接触領域の全てが、前記第1の主面上に存在する、請求項4記載の物品。
- 前記第1の主面および前記第2の主面のうちの少なくとも一方の上に装飾インクコーティングをさらに有する、請求項4記載の物品。
