Abstract

 予備成形工程において、ガラス板の位置決めを容易にするとともに、あおり機構によるヒンジ跡の発生と曲がりすぎる部分の発生を同時に防止する。  加熱軟化したガラス板をその縁部を支持する予備成形用支持型に載置し、この予備成形用支持型に載置された状態で前記ガラス板を予備成形用モールドの成形面に押し付けることにより所望の予備曲げ形状に成形する予備成形工程と、この予備曲げ形状に成形されたガラス板をその縁部を支持する本成形用支持型に移載し、この本成形用支持型に載置された状態で前記ガラス板を本成形用モールドの成形面に押し付けることにより所望の最終曲げ形状に成形する本成形工程と、を備えたガラス板の曲げ成形方法において、前記予備成形用支持型は、外型と該外型の内側に併設されたガラス板載置面が外型よりも平らである内型とを備え、前記本成形用支持型は、その内側に、前記本成形モールドと対向する成形面を有する下部モールドを備え、前記予備成形工程は、前記加熱軟化したガラス板を前記内型に載置する工程と、前記内型上のガラス板を該内型から前記外型に移載する工程と、前記外型に載置された前記ガラス板を前記予備成形用モールドの成形面に押し付ける工程と、前記予備曲げ形状に成形された前記ガラス板を前記予備成形用モールドに保持する工程とを含み、前記本成形工程は、前記予備曲げ形状に成形されたガラス板を前記本成形用支持型に移載する工程と、該本成形用支持型に載置された状態で前記ガラス板の下側表面を前記下部モールドの成形面で支持しながら前記ガラス板を前記本成形用モールドの成形面に押し付ける工程とを含むことを特徴とするガラス板の曲げ成形方法。
