第二构件14包括构造成将第一构件12收纳在其中的凹穴部分28。凹穴部分28由底座壁30和从底座壁30延伸的至少一个侧壁32限定。至少一个侧壁32通常从底座壁30相对垂直地延伸,但将理解的是,可构想出至少一个侧壁32以备选角度定向从底座壁30延伸。多个收纳结构34设置在底座壁30内且由底座壁30限定。多个收纳结构34构造成在第一构件12和第二构件14匹配时接合并收纳多个可弹性地变形的凸起26。
参看图2,更详细地示出了与多个收纳结构34中的一者接合的多个可弹性地变形的凸起26中的一者的放大截面图。多个可弹性地变形的凸起26和多个收纳结构34可由多个构想的实施例来形成。在示例性实施例中,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26均形成为相对管状的凸起,其具有中空部分36,中空部分36相对于凸起接合壁38大致设置在中心。将认识到的是,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26(且更具体是凸起接合壁38和/或中空部分36)可具有类似或不同的形状,例如,如圆形或矩形。多个收纳结构34可包括延伸穿过第二构件14的底座壁30的槽口或槽状结构或孔口。
除上文所述的实施例外,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26可由可弹性地变形的夹具形成。如从以下描述中将清楚的那样,凸起的可弹性地变形的性质与上文所述的特定定向相结合,通过解决由于制造工艺而固然存在的第一构件12和第二构件14的固持和/或定位特征的位置和/或公差变化而有助于第一构件12相对于第二构件14的精确对准。弹性附接组件10的弹性性质以及第一构件12与第二构件14之间的精确对准减小了过度移动,减小了振动特性,且使第一构件12相对于第二构件14加固。下文将详细描述与弹性附接组件10相关联的自对准的益处。
在所示的实施例中,凸起接合壁38包括第一部分40,其从底座外表面22相对垂直地延伸至中间部分42。第二部分44从中间部分42延伸,且设置成与第一部分40成角度,且更具体地成朝中心轴线46向内成锥形的角度。如上文所述,多个收纳结构34可以多种几何构型形成在底座壁30中。在所示的实施例中,圆形孔口示为对应于可弹性地变形的凸起26的凸起接合壁38。收纳结构34包括接合表面48,其包括设置在底座壁30附近的斜切部分50。斜切部分50包括斜表面,且构造成提供用于可弹性地变形的凸起26的凸起接合壁38的"引入"或引导区域。可构想出斜切部分50的许多角度。
在第一构件12朝第二构件14平移时,第一构件12的可弹性地变形的凸起26定位且与第二构件14的收纳结构34接合。以此方式,在多个可弹性地变形的凸起26与多个收纳结构34接合时,第一构件12压配合到第二构件14中。第二部分44接合该接合表面48,且更具体地接合斜切部分50。可弹性地变形的凸起26到收纳结构34中的随后平移通过将压缩力施加到凸起接合壁38上而导致可变形的凸起26的弹性变形。将认识到的是,通过包括设置在凸起接合壁38的径向内侧的中空部分36的实施例来进一步促进可弹性地变形的凸起26的弹性变形。由中空部分36限定的缺乏材料提高了多个可弹性地变形的凸起26的柔性。
术语"可弹性地变形"是指构件或构件的部分(包括构件特征)包括具有大体上可弹性地变形的特性的材料,其中材料构造成响应于力的施加而经历其形状、尺寸或两者的回弹性地可逆的变化。引起材料的回弹性地可逆或弹性变形的力可包括张力、压缩力、剪切力、弯曲或扭力,或这些力的各种组合。可弹性地变形的材料可呈现出线性弹性变形(例如,根据胡克定律所述的)或非线性弹性变形。
可至少部分地形成构件的材料的许多实例包括各种金属、聚合物、陶瓷、无机材料或玻璃,或任何上述材料的复合物,或它们的任何其它组合。可构想出许多复合材料,包括各种填充聚合物,包括玻璃、陶瓷、金属和无机材料填充的聚合物,特别是玻璃、金属、陶瓷、无机物或碳纤维填充的聚合物。可使用任何适合的填料形态,包括所有形状和尺寸的颗粒或纤维。更具体而言,可使用任何适合类型的纤维,包括连续和不连续的纤维、织造和非织造的布、毡或丝束,或它们的组合。可使用任何适合的金属,包括各种等级和合金的钢、铸铁、铝、镁或钛,或它们的复合物,或它们的任何其它组合。聚合物可包括热塑性聚合物或热固性聚合物两者,或它们的复合物,或其任何其它组合,包括多种共聚物或聚合物混合物。在一个实施例中,优选的塑料材料为具有弹性性质以便弹性地变形而不会破裂的一种,例如,包括丙烯腈丁二烯苯乙烯(ABS)聚合物的材料,且更具体是聚碳酸酯ABS聚合物混合物(PC/ABS),如ABS腈纶。材料可为任何形式,且由任何适合的工艺形成或制成,包括模压或成形金属、复合物或其它片材、锻件、挤出零件、冲压零件、铸件或模制件等,以包括本文所述的可变形特征。材料或多种材料可选择成提供多个可弹性地变形的凸起26的预定弹性响应特征。预定弹性响应特征可包括例如预定弹性模量。
凸起接合壁38与多个收纳结构34之间发生接合所在的精确位置将取决于由制造因素施加的位置变化而变化。由于包括多个可弹性地变形的凸起26的弹性材料的可弹性地变形的性质,因此接合的初始位置的重要性降低。将多个可弹性地变形的凸起26进一步插入多个收纳结构34中最终导致了多个可弹性地变形的凸起26处于完全接合位置。当凸起插入收纳结构中时,凸起接合壁38与接合表面48的接合导致凸起弹性地变形且径向向内地悬置。
在完全接合位置,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26与多个收纳结构34之间的紧密匹配接合通过位于凸起接合壁38与接合表面48之间的接触界面来实现。此状态通过使凸起周长定尺寸成大于收纳结构周长来确保。凸起周长由沿凸起接合壁38相对地设置的点之间的距离来限定。收纳结构周长由沿接合表面48相对地设置的点之间的距离来限定。多个可弹性地变形的凸起26与多个收纳结构34之间的过盈引起凸起接合壁38附近的弹性变形。材料的延展性减少了与位置变化相关联的问题。更具体而言,与通常导致插入件与收纳结构之间在插入件的周边周围的部分处的间隙和自由移动的刚性插入件相比,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26有利地变形来保持第一构件12和第二构件14的对准,同时还减少或消除了与制造挑战相关联的间隙和自由移动,因此加固了匹配的组件。
再次参看图1、图2和图7,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26的弹性变形弹性地平均第一构件12和第二构件14的任何位置误差。换言之,否则由于与第一构件12和第二构件14的部分或节段(特别是定位和固持特征)相关联的位置误差而存在的间隙通过利用其它可弹性地变形的凸起的过度约束状态抵消间隙而消除。具体而言,各个凸起的位置变化通过其余凸起来抵消,以总体上平均各个凸起的位置变化。弹性平均提供了匹配构件之间的分界面的弹性变形,其中平均变形提供精确对准,制造位置变化最大限度地减小至Xmin,这由 限定,其中X为匹配构件的定位特征的制造位置变化,而N为插入的特征的数目。为了获得弹性平均,可弹性地变形的构件构造成具有至少一个特征及其接触表面,所述接触表面受过度约束,且提供了与另一构件及其接触表面的匹配特征的过盈配合。过度约束的状态和过盈配合使至少一个特征或匹配特征中的至少一者或两个特征回弹性可逆地(弹性地)变形。构件的这些特征的回弹性可逆性质允许构件的可重复插入和取出,从而便于所述构件的组装和拆卸。构件的位置变化可导致施加在接触表面的区域上的力变化,所述接触表面在过盈状态中在构件插入期间被过度约束和接合。将认识到的是,单个插入构件可相对于构件的周长的长度弹性地平均。弹性平均的原理在共同拥有的共同在审美国专利申请第13/187,675号中被详细描述,该专利的公开内容通过引用以其整体并入本文中。上文公开的实施例提供了将与上述弹性平均原理不相容的现有构件转换为确实有助于弹性平均及其相关益处的组件的能力。
现在参看图3-5,第一构件12相对于第二构件14的附加稳定性通过从第二构件14的至少一个侧壁32延伸的多个可弹性地变形的构件62(也在图1中总体上被示出)提供。将认识到的是,多个可弹性地变形的构件62可沿单个表面或多个表面设置,这取决于至少侧壁32的结构。多个可弹性地变形的构件62构造成接合第一构件12的接合部分60(也在图1中总体上被示出)。接合部分60可包括至少一个侧部外表面24的一部分,或者可从其延伸而作为附加构件。在备选实施例中,多个可弹性地变形的构件62不是可弹性地变形的,而相反是接合可弹性地变形的接合部分的刚性结构。将理解的是,多个可弹性地变形的构件62和接合部分60中的一者或多者是可变形的。正如详细描述的多个可弹性地变形的凸起26那样,多个可弹性地变形的构件62由上文论述的可弹性地变形的材料中的至少一者形成。
在图3和图4中示出了多个可弹性地变形的构件62和接合部分60的第一实施例。在所示的实施例中,多个可变形的构件62中的各个均包括从至少一个侧壁32延伸的中空管部分。可构想出许多种对准,但在示例性实施例中,接合部分60包括从至少一个侧部外表面24相对垂直地延伸的第一节段64和从第一节段64相对垂直地(如以主要向下延伸的方式)延伸的第二节段68。接合部分60包括从至少一个侧部外表面24延伸的槽口结构72。槽口结构72包括销收纳部分74,其构造成配合地收纳多个可变形构件62,且更具体地收纳中空管部分。槽口结构72形成在接合部分60的第二节段68中。
中空管部分以管形构造示出,然而将理解的是,可构想出备选几何形状。不论精确的几何形状如何,多个可弹性地变形的构件62都包括大于槽口结构72的销收纳部分74周长的周长。如上文参照多个可弹性地变形的凸起26和多个收纳结构34详细描述的,基于构件的相对尺寸确定,多个可弹性地变形的构件62的弹性变形在插入销收纳部分74中时产生。
参看图6,示出了多个可弹性地变形的构件62和接合部分60的第二实施例。在所示的实施例中,多个可变形的构件62中的各个均包括从至少一个侧部外表面24延伸的肋条80。可构想出许多种对准,但在示例性实施例中,肋条80包括弓形构造,其远离至少一个侧部外表面24成弓形或弯曲,且构造成在与接合部分60接合时弹性地变形和/或偏转,从而在肋条80与接合部分62之间产生弹性张力,所述接合部分62在所示实施例中包括至少一个侧壁32。
如人们可认识到的那样,上文所述的实施例可通过切换多个可弹性地变形的构件62与接合部分60的位置来改变。具体而言,在一个实施例中,中空管可操作地联接到至少一个侧部外表面24上且从至少一个侧部外表面24延伸,而接合部分60可操作地联接到至少一个侧壁32上且从至少一个侧壁32延伸。在此实施例中,第一节段64远离至少一个侧壁32向外延伸,而第二节段68从所述第一节段相对垂直地(如,以向上指向的方式)延伸。然后,管构造成向下滑动到接合部分60的槽口结构72中并接合所述槽口结构72。类似地,上文所述的肋条可连接到至少一个侧壁32上,而不是连接到少一个侧部外表面24上。
通过在多个可弹性地变形的构件62与接合部分60之间施加接触过盈,上文所述的多个可弹性地变形的构件62的各个实施例有利地减少了第一构件12相对于第二构件14的移动。当第一构件12与第二构件14达到完全接合位置时,多个可弹性地变形的构件62的变形总体上相对于彼此平均,如上文针对多个可弹性地变形的凸起26详细描述的。
如图8中所示,且参照图1-7,还提供了用于减少位置变化、移动自由度和振动以及增大弹性附接组件的刚度的方法100。弹性附接组件10(且更具体地,多个可弹性地变形的凸起26和可弹性地变形的构件62的可弹性地变形的性质)已经在前文被描述,且具体结构构件不必进一步详细描述。该方法100包括将第一构件12插入第二构件14的凹穴部分28中(102)。该方法还包括:使多个可弹性地变形的凸起26与多个收纳结构34接合(104)。该方法还包括:在多个可弹性地变形的凸起26与多个收纳结构34接合时使多个可弹性地变形的凸起26弹性地变形(106)。该方法还包括:针对多个可弹性地变形的凸起26执行弹性变形的弹性平均(108),以解决多个可弹性地变形的凸起26的位置变化、减少的自由移动和增大的刚度。
尽管已经参照示例性实施例描述了本发明,但本领域的技术人员将理解的是,可作出各种变化且等同方案可替代其元件,而并未脱离本发明的范围。此外,可作出许多改型,以使特定情形或材料适合本发明的教导,而不脱离本发明的实质范围。因此,期望本发明不限于公开的特定实施例,而是本发明将包括落入本申请的范围内的所有实施例。
Claims (10)
1. 一种弹性附接组件,包括:
具有底座外表面的第一构件;
从所述第一构件的底座外表面延伸的多个可弹性地变形的凸起;
具有凹穴部分的第二构件,所述凹穴部分构造成将所述第一构件收纳在其中,所述凹穴部分由底座壁和从所述底座壁延伸的至少一个侧壁限定;以及
多个收纳结构,所述收纳结构由所述凹穴部分的底座壁限定,且构造成收纳所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起,其中所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起构造成在插入所述多个收纳结构中时弹性地变形。
2. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述弹性附接组件还包括所述第一结构的完全接合位置,其中所述完全接合位置包括所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起与所述多个收纳结构之间的接触过盈,其中所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起的变形量总体上相对于彼此平均。
3. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起中的各个的周长大于所述多个收纳结构中的各个的周长。
4. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起的弹性变形包括形状和形状中的至少一者的回弹性地可逆的变化。
5. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起与所述底座外表面整体地形成。
6. 根据权利要求1所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述弹性附接组件还包括至少一个侧部外表面,所述侧部外表面具有构造成接合所述第二构件的接合部分的多个可弹性地变形的构件。
7. 根据权利要求6所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的构件包括销部分,且其中,所述接合部分包括构造成将所述多个可弹性地变形的构件收纳在其中的槽口结构。
8. 根据权利要求7所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的构件的周长大于所述槽口结构的周长。
9. 根据权利要求6所述的弹性附接组件,其特征在于,所述多个可弹性地变形的构件包括肋条,且其中,所述接合部分包括所述至少一个侧部外表面的一部分。
10. 一种减小弹性附接组件的位置变化并增大所述弹性附接组件的刚度的方法,包括:
将第一构件插入第二构件的凹穴部分中;
使从所述第一构件的底座外表面延伸的多个可弹性地变形的凸起与由所述凹穴部分的底座壁限定的多个收纳结构接合;
在所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起与所述多个收纳结构接合时使所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起弹性地变形;以及
针对所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起执行所述弹性变形的弹性平均,以解决所述多个可弹性地变形的凸起的位置变化并减少自由运动。
