Description
可能な実施形態では、第1の偏光板及び第2の偏光板が使用され、第1の偏光板及び第2の偏光板は、特定の領域から部分的に除去される。第1のLCDガラス基板上の特定の領域に入射した光は、自然光とみなされることができる。CF、金属線、及びTFT部品などの非高透過率材料は、特定の領域で加工されず、シリコーンシーラントが適用されるため、特定の領域には液晶が存在しない。このようにして、図4に示すように、大量の光がその領域を通過することができ、それにより、局所透明効果が達成される。
本発明の実施形態2では、異なる形状の孔が形成された第1の偏光板及び第2の偏光板を使用する。換言すれば、偏光板は特定の領域から部分的に除去されるため、LCDガラス上の特定の領域に侵入した光は自然光のままである。さらに、CF、金属線、及びTFT部品などの非高透過率材料は、特定の領域に製造されない。さらに、その領域内の配向膜が無効とされ、液晶の配向が乱れ、液晶が等方性材料として表されるため、通常、大量の光がその領域を通過することができ、局所透明効果が達成される。図9に示すように、透過率をさらに高めるために、配向膜及びITOケーブル配線などの他の透明材料を加工しなくてもよい。

- 電子デバイスであって、前記電子デバイスに配置された液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)を含み、
前記電子デバイスが、
積み重ねられた不透明材料層及び透明材料層であって、前記不透明材料層がカラーフィルム(CF)、液晶層、薄膜トランジスタ(TFT)層及びバックライトを含む、積み重ねられた不透明材料層及び透明材料層と、局所光透過領域であって、前記局所光透過領域が、前記局所光透過領域における前記CF、前記液晶層、前記TFT層及び前記バックライトに貫通孔を含むことによって透明チャネルを形成する、局所光透過領域と、
部品本体を含む光学部品であって、前記部品本体が前記バックライト内の前記貫通孔内の位置に完全にまたは部分的に配置される、光学部品と、
を含み、
前記透明材料層がカバーガラス(CG)、第1のLCDガラス基板、及び第2のLCDガラス基板を含み、前記不透明材料層がさらに、第1の偏光板及び第2の偏光板を含み、前記第1の偏光板、前記第1のLCDガラス基板、前記CF、前記液晶層、前記TFT層、前記第2のLCDガラス基板、前記第2の偏光板及び前記バックライトが、前記CGの下面に順次形成され、
前記CF、前記液晶層及び前記TFT層に設けられた貫通孔と、前記バックライトに設けられた貫通孔とが前記第2のLCDガラス基板によって離隔され、
前記CF、前記液晶層及び前記TFT層における前記貫通孔並びに前記バックライトにおける前記貫通孔が、透明フィラーで充填される、
電子デバイス。 - 前記部品本体が前記CF、前記液晶層及び前記TFT層の貫通孔の下にある、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記CGが前記貫通孔を覆う、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記透明材料層がさらに、第1のインジウムスズ酸化物(ITO)材料層及び第2のITO材料層を含み、前記第1のITO材料層が、前記局所光透過領域内及び前記第1のLCDガラス基板の下面に形成され、前記第2のITO材料層が、前記局所光透過領域内及び前記第2のLCDガラス基板の上面に形成される、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記透明材料層がさらに、第1の配向膜及び第2の配向膜を含み、前記液晶層が、前記第1の配向膜の下面と前記第2の配向膜の上面との間に形成される、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記透明材料層が前記透明チャネル内に保持される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記局所光透過領域が、前記貫通孔の周囲に塗布された封止材料を含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記LCDが、16:9または18:9の縦横比を有する長方形の表示領域を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記光学部品が、以下:
光学式指紋センサ―、カメラ、光学式近接センサー、構造化光センサー、赤外線レーザー送信機、及び環境光センサー
のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記LCDがさらに、金属線及び封止材料を含み、前記金属線が前記TFT層と前記CFとの間であって前記貫通孔の周囲に配置され、前記封止材料が前記貫通孔の周囲の前記金属線の一部を覆う、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子デバイス内に配置されるように構成された液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)であって、
前記LCDが、
透明材料層及び不透明材料層を含む積層体であって、前記不透明材料層がカラーフィルム(CF)、液晶層、薄膜トランジスタ(TFT)層及びバックライトを含む、積層体と、
局所光透過領域であって、前記局所光透過領域が前記CF、前記液晶層、前記TFT層及び前記バックライトに貫通孔を含むことによって透明チャネルを形成し、前記局所光透過領域が、前記電子デバイスの光学部品の部品本体を、前記バックライトの前記貫通孔における位置に完全にまたは部分的に収容するように構成された、局所光透過領域と、
を含み、
前記透明材料層が、カバーガラス(CG)、第1のLCDガラス基板及び第2のLCDガラス基板を含み、前記不透明材料層がさらに、第1の偏光板及び第2の偏光板を含み、前記第1の偏光板、前記第1のLCDガラス基板、前記CF、前記液晶層、前記TFT層、前記第2のLCDガラス基板、前記第2の偏光板及び前記バックライトが前記CGの下面に順次形成され、
前記CF、前記液晶層及び前記TFT層に設けられた貫通孔と、前記バックライトに設けられた貫通孔とが前記第2のLCDガラス基板によって離隔され、
前記CF、前記液晶層及び前記TFT層における前記貫通孔並びに前記バックライトにおける前記貫通孔が、透明フィラーで充填された、

- 前記局所光透過領域が前記貫通孔の周囲に塗布された封止材料を含む、請求項11から16のいずれか一項に記載のLCD。
- 前記LCDがさらに金属線及び封止材料を含み、前記金属線が前記TFT層と前記CFとの間であって前記貫通孔の周囲に配置され、前記封止材料が前記貫通孔の周囲の前記金属線の一部を覆う、請求項11から17のいずれか一項に記載のLCD。
