圧縮機と、膨張弁と、空気熱交換器と、これらを接続する冷媒管とを備え、それぞれ独立した冷媒回路を備えている第1、第2、第3、第4の冷凍サイクルと、
第1及び第2の冷媒流路及び第1の共通水流路を有し、前記第1及び第2の冷媒流路が夫々前記第1の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管及び第2の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管に接続されている第1の水熱交換器と、
第3及び第4の冷媒流路及び第2の共通水流路を有し、第3及び第4の冷媒流路が夫々前記第3の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管及び第4の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管に接続されている第2の水熱交換器と、
前記第1の水熱交換器の前記第1の共通水流路と前記第2の水熱交換器の前記第2の共通水流路とを直列に連通する水配管と、
前記第1ないし第4の冷凍サイクルの夫々に用いられる電動の冷凍サイクル構成部品の運転をそれぞれ制御する制御用電気部品を備え、
前記制御用電気部品は、加熱運転中であって、前記第1乃至第4の冷凍サイクルの1つの冷凍サイクル毎に除霜運転を実施される制御をすることを特徴とする熱源ユニットが提供される。
上記熱交換部1は、複数(ここでは4組)の熱交換器モジュールMと、同数の送風機Sから構成される。上記熱交換器モジュールMは、一対(2個)の空気熱交換器3,3が互いに対向して配置されてなり、かつ複数の熱交換器モジュールMは長手方向に沿って互いに間隙を存して配置される。
図に示す熱交換器モジュールMを4台並べ、天板4相互と上部ドレンパン7を密接した状態で、先に図1及び図2に示す熱交換部1が構成されることになる。ただし、熱交換器モジュールM自体は互いに若干の隙間を介して並置される。
図4に二点鎖線で示すように、折り曲げる前の平板状の空気熱交換器3は、従来、フィンに4列の熱交換パイプを設けた平板状の空気熱交換器の熱交換面積と同一である。3列の熱交換パイプPを備えた本実施形態の空気熱交換器3が、4列の熱交換パイプを備えた従来の空気熱交換器と対応するためには、本来、パイプ列方向寸法が狭まった分、長手方向寸法を長くしなければならない。
したがって、水導入口31から導入される水は、器体30内の水流路33を構成する案内水流路33aに導かれてから複数条の水分流路33cに一斉に分流され、しかる後、他方の水案内流路33bに集流し、水導出口32から導出案内されるようになっている。
同じ側面で水導入口31と対向して第1の冷媒導出口37と、第2の冷媒導出口38が互いに隣接した位置に設けられる。これら第1、第2の冷媒導入口35,36と、第1、第2の冷媒導出口37,38には、後述するようにして、冷媒管が接続される。
特に説明しないが、第2の水熱交換器11においても全く同様の構造をなす。なお、暖房作用をなすために温水を得る場合は、それぞれの冷媒流路40,41において冷媒の流れる方向が図5に図示した方向とは逆になる。
一部を除いて各系統とも同一構成の冷凍サイクルであるので、ここでは第1の冷凍サイクルR1のみを説明し、第2〜第4の冷凍サイクルR2〜R4については同番号を付して新たな説明を省略する。
例えば第1ないし第4の冷凍サイクルR1〜R4の、それぞれの圧縮機17を一斉に駆動して冷媒を圧縮させると、高温高圧化した冷媒ガスが吐出される。冷媒ガスは四方切換え弁18から一対の空気熱交換器3に導かれ、送風機Sの駆動により送風される空気と熱交換する。冷媒ガスは凝縮液化し、膨張弁19に導かれて断熱膨張する。
このように、第1の水熱交換器12と第2の水熱交換器11の水流路33、33を直列に接続することにより、冷水が2段階で温度低下するので、より有効な冷房性能を得られる。
各冷凍サイクルの圧縮機17を一斉に駆動して冷媒を圧縮させ、高温高圧化した冷媒ガスが吐出される。冷媒ガスは、四方切換え弁18から第1の水熱交換器12における第1の冷媒流路40に導かれ、水ポンプ13から水流路33に導かれる水と熱交換する。
空気熱交換器3を構成するフィンFに対して熱交換パイプPの列数を少なくしても、特に空気熱交換器3の縦横寸法を拡大することなく、熱交換面積は従来の空気熱交換器3と同等でよい。
そして、従来の単純に1枚の平板状をなす空気熱交換器と比較して、同等の熱交換面積を確保しながら熱交換効率の向上を図れるとともに、熱源ユニットYとしての据付けスペースの縮小化が得られる。

- 圧縮機と、膨張弁と、空気熱交換器と、これらを接続する冷媒管とを備え、それぞれ独立した冷媒回路を備えている第1、第2、第3、第4の冷凍サイクルと、
第1及び第2の冷媒流路及び第1の共通水流路を有し、前記第1及び第2の冷媒流路が夫々前記第1の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管及び第2の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管に接続されている第1の水熱交換器と、
第3及び第4の冷媒流路及び第2の共通水流路を有し、第3及び第4の冷媒流路が夫々前記第3の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管及び第4の冷凍サイクルの冷媒管に接続されている第2の水熱交換器と、
前記第1の水熱交換器の前記第1の共通水流路と前記第2の水熱交換器の前記第2の共通水流路とを直列に連通する水配管と、
前記第1ないし第4の冷凍サイクルの夫々に用いられる電動の冷凍サイクル構成部品の運転をそれぞれ制御する制御用電気部品を備え、
前記制御用電気部品は、加熱運転中であって、前記第1乃至第4の冷凍サイクルのうち、1組の冷凍サイクルずつ除霜運転を実施されるように制御をすることを特徴とする熱源ユニット。 - 前記第1ないし第4の冷凍サイクルに設けられた4組の前記空気熱交換器は、互いに所定間隔を存して並列に設置され、かつ4組の前記空気熱交換器はそれぞれに送風機を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱源ユニット。
- 前記第1ないし第4の冷凍サイクルに設けられた4組の前記空気熱交換器は、互いに所定間隔を存して並列に設置され、かつ互いに隣接する前記空気熱交換器からの熱交換空気の侵入を阻止する遮蔽板を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の熱源ユニット。
