Description
本願は、2009年9月1日に出願した米国仮特許出願第61/238,889号に関連し、米国特許法第119条(e)のもとに、上記米国仮特許出願の利益を主張する。上記米国仮特許出願は参照により本明細書に完全に援用される。
本発明の分野は、その層の間および/または層内のバッテリを含む、固体状態で薄膜の2次および1次電気化学素子を含有する、プリント回路基板である。
典型的な電気化学素子は、例えば、陽極、陰極、電解質、基板、電流コレクタ等の、多数の電気的活性層を備える。例えば、リチウムを備える陽極層等の、いくつかの層は、非常に環境に敏感である材料から成る。基板は、例えば、別々のバッテリ要素でなくてもよいが、代わりに、バッテリが取り付けられる、半導体素子またはプリント回路基板(PC
B)の半導体表面または伝導もしくは絶縁パッケージ表面によって提供されてもよい。そのようなバッテリは、環境に敏感な材料を保護するためにカプセル化を必要とする。一部のスキームは、金箔によるカプセル化等の、電気化学素子の敏感層をカプセル化する。他のスキームは、例えば、素子の外周を密閉する、金属およびプラスチックで作られているポーチで素子をカプセル化する。

Claims (24)
- 複数の導体トレースを備えている2つの電気絶縁層を有する層のスタックであって、該電気絶縁層のそれぞれは外周を備えている、層のスタックと、
該層の間に挿入される電気化学セルであって、該電気化学セルの一部分は、該絶縁層のうちの1つの外周を越えて横方向に延びる、電気化学セルと
を備えている、プリント回路基板。 - 複数の導体トレースを備えている2つの電気絶縁層を有する層のスタックと、
該層のスタックに挿入される導電層および電気化学セルとを備え、
該電気化学セルは、該層のスタックの該導電層と電気絶縁層との間に埋め込まれる、プリント回路基板。 - 複数の導体トレースを備えている2つの電気絶縁層を有する層のスタックと、2つの導電層と、
該層のスタックに挿入される電気化学セルと
を備え、該電気化学セルは該導電層の間に埋め込まれる、プリント回路基板。 - 複数の導体トレースを備えている2つの電気絶縁層を有する層のスタックと、
該層のスタックに挿入される電気化学セルと、
該電気化学セルの縁に位置する間隙と
