Abstract
【解決手段】自動車の第1または第2のいずれか一方の側面が側面衝撃を受けたときの負荷の少なくとも一部を、バッテリパック格納機構101を横断して分散および吸収する複数の交差部材501A−501Hを含む、バッテリパック格納機構を、フロントおよびリアサスペンションアセンブリの間で車体のいずれかの側面に配置される車体部材(例えば、ロッカーパネル)に機械的に結合させ分散させる。バッテリパック交差部材は、剛性、強度、および、耐衝撃性を提供することに加えてバッテリパック格納機構内に含まれるバッテリをバッテリグループに分離する機能も有す。

Claims (15)
- 複数のバッテリを保持するために構成されたバッテリパック格納機構を備え、前記バッテリパック格納機構は、前記自動車の第1の側面に隣接して配置された第1車体側面部材と前記自動車の第2の側面に隣接して配置された第2の車体側面部材との間に取付けられ、前記バッテリパック格納機構は、フロント自動車サスペンションアセンブリとリア自動車サスペンションアセンブリとの間に取付けられ、前記バッテリパック格納機構は、前記第1の車体側面部材と前記第2の車体側面部材との間の距離を横断し、前記バッテリパック格納機構の第1の側面部材は前記第1の車体側面部材に機械的に結合され、かつ、前記バッテリパック格納機構の第2の側面部材は前記第2の車体側面部材に機械的に結合され、前記バッテリパック格納機構は前記バッテリパック内に組み込まれた複数の交差部材をさらに備え、前記複数の交差部材は前記複数のバッテリをバッテリのグループに分離し、各々の交差部材はバッテリパック格納機構の前記第1の側面部材から前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第2の側面部材まで延び、前記自動車の前記第1の側面と前記第2の側面のいずれか一方で受けた側面衝撃が前記複数の交差部材のうちの少なくともいくつかに伝達される、自動車のためのエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック格納機構が自動車底板の下に取り付けられる、請求項1に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記第1の車体側面部材が左側のロッカーパネルであり、かつ、前記第2の車体側面部材が右側のロッカーパネルである、請求項1〜2に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第1の側面部材は第1の車体側面部材の下面に機械的に結合される拡張領域をさらに備え、かつ、前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第2の側面部材は第2の車体側面部材の下面に機械的に結合される拡張領域をさらに備える、請求項1〜3に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第1の側面部材の前記拡張領域は、第1の複数のボルトを使用して前記第1の車体側面部材の下面に固定され、かつ、前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第2の側面部材の前記拡張領域は、第2の複数のボルトを使用して前記第2の車体側面部材の下面に固定される、請求項4に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック格納機構が実質的に気密である、請求項1〜4に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 各々の前記複数の交差部材は、前記対応する交差部材の全長にわたって延びる少なくとも1つの空洞を含む、請求項1〜6に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々の交差部材に対応する前記少なくとも1つの空洞の各々の空洞は、高融点、低熱伝導率の材料で充填される、請求項7に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々の交差部材に対応する前記少なくとも1つの空洞の各々の空洞内に水が含まれる、請求項7に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々が上方部材および下方部材を備える、請求項1〜9に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々の前記上方部材が、上方部材の全長にわたって延びる少なくとも1つの空洞を含み、かつ、前記複数の交差部材の各々の前記下方部材が、下方部材の全長にわたって延びる少なくとも1つの空洞を含む、請求項10に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々の前記上方部材が、バッテリパック格納機構天板に機械的に結合され、かつ、前記複数の交差部材の各々の前記下方部材が、バッテリパック格納機構底板に機械的に結合される、請求項10に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記複数の交差部材の各々が、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、および、スチールから成る材料のグループから選択された材料から製造される、請求項1〜12に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック格納機構が、バッテリパック底板およびバッテリパック天板をさらに備え、前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第1および第2の側面部材、前記バッテリパック底板、および、前記バッテリパック天板が、各々、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、および、スチールから成る材料のグループから選択された材料から製造される、請求項1〜13に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
- 前記バッテリパック底板は、溶接、ろう付け、はんだ付けで、前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第1および第2の側面部材に取り付けられ、前記バッテリパック天板は、前記バッテリパック格納機構の前記第1および第2の側面部材に締結される、請求項14に記載のエネルギ吸収および分散側面衝撃システム。
