Description

剥離力及び再接着力
剥離力について試験される各実施例のトルエン:IPA(重量比90:10)中の固形分5%のポリマー溶液を、#3マイヤー巻き線ロッドを用いて2mil(508μm)のPET上にコーティングした。コーティング基材を65℃のオーブン内で15分間乾燥させ、22℃及び50%の相対湿度(CT/CH)で1時間調湿した。試験テープ(SCOTCH High Performance Box Sealing Tape373、及び3M850Clear Polyester Film Tapeであり、双方とも3M Company(St.Paul,MN,USA)から入手可能)の細片(2.54cm×15.24cm)を、2lb(0.91kg)ローラーを使用して上記のコーティングしたシートに接着させた。得られた複合物を、CT/CHで3日間、及び50℃で7日間劣化させた(aged:エージングさせた)。各複合物の2.54cm×20.32cmの細片(三連で)を、両面テープでInstrumentors,Inc.の滑り/剥離試験機(Model 3M90)のステージに積層した。次いで、試験テープを180度の角度及び228.6cm/分の剥離速度で除去するのに必要な剥離力を測定し、剥離力としてN/10mmの単位で報告した。再接着力を測定するために、新たに剥離された試験テープを、2lb(0.91kg)のローラーを用いて清潔なガラスプレートに再接着させた。次いで、テープを180°の角度及び228.6cm/分で除去するのに必要な力を測定し、ガラスに対する再接着力としてN/10mmの単位で報告した。剥離力及び再接着力の結果を、以下の表3に示す。
塗装性について試験される各実施例のトルエン:IPA(重量比90:10)中の固形分5%のポリマー溶液を、#3マイヤー巻き線ロッドを用いて2milのPET上にコーティングした。表4に記載された液体塗料の各々を、表4に示された実施例でコーティングされたPET上にブラシで少なめに塗った。塗装した試料を、周囲条件で少なくとも48時間乾燥させた。乾燥後に、4.5kgの軟質表面ローラーを用いて、アグレッシブなマスキングテープ(「SCOTCH Masking Tape for Hard−to−Stick Surfaces2060」の商品名で3M Companyから入手可能)を、塗装した試料の上部に接着させた。マスキングテープを少なくとも約5分の滞留時間の間、乾燥塗料に接着させたままにした。次いで、約135°の剥離角でマスキングテープを各塗装試料から手動で剥離し、コーティングした試料上に固定されたままの乾燥塗料の量を目視で検査した。コーティングした試料上に約90%の塗料が残っている場合、表4に「合格」の結果を記録した。さもなければ、「不合格」の格付を記録した。
オーバーヘッド撹拌機、熱電対、及び蒸留ヘッドを取り付けた1000mLの三つ口丸底フラスコに、152.4gのジメチルアジペート及び203.4gのヘキサメチレンジアミンを添加した。反応混合物を180℃に一晩、窒素下で撹拌しながら加熱した。この間、約50gのメタノール副生成物を、レシーバに回収した。次いで、混合物を冷却し、冷却時にワックス状の塊として回収した。次いで、この生成物を30重量%でトルエン中に分散させ、一晩撹拌した。次いで、トルエン懸濁液を濾過し、残留物を更に大量のトルエンで洗浄した。洗浄した残留物を一晩空気乾燥させ、回収した。
オーバーヘッド撹拌機、熱電対、及び蒸留ヘッドを取り付けた1000mLの樹脂フラスコに、762.4gのDFA及び85.8gのエチレンジアミンを添加した。反応混合物を225℃まで一晩加熱した。この間、49.5gの水副生成物を、レシーバに回収した。次の日、25mmHg(3.3kPa)の真空を225℃で2時間混合物に適用した。真空を窒素ガスで破り、以前から「311A42# Stick−Not,Grade8354」の商品名でRelease International(Iowa City,IA,USA)から入手可能であったシリコーン剥離紙上でフラスコの内容物を空にし、周囲温度まで放冷した。
オーバーヘッド撹拌機、窒素導入口、及びオーバーヘッド冷却管を取り付けた1000mLの三つ口丸底フラスコに、30.0gのPDMS−NH2 5K、3.6gのXDATFEE、及び204gのエチルアセテートを添加し、4Aモレキュラーシーブ上で乾燥させた。混合物を一晩還流させた。バッチを還流より低く冷却し、PE−2に記載されているようにして調製された26.4gのアミン末端ポリアミド、102gのトルエン、及び34gのtert−ブタノールからなる溶液を添加した。バッチを還流に達するまで再加熱した。混合物を一晩撹拌した。翌朝、混合物を放冷して回収した。
オーバーヘッド撹拌機、窒素導入口、及びオーバーヘッド冷却管を取り付けた2000mLの三つ口丸底フラスコに、256gのPDMS−NH2 5K、23.1gのXDATFEE、1,024gのトルエン、及び256gのtert−ブタノールを添加した。この混合物を還流に達するまで加熱し、一晩撹拌した。混合物を還流より低く冷却し、PE−2に記載されているようにして調製された40.9gのアミン末端ポリアミドを添加した。混合物を還流に達するまで加熱した。混合物を一晩撹拌した。翌朝、混合物を放冷して回収した。

- 少なくとも1つのR5が、1つ以上のポリエーテルを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のセグメント化ブロックコポリマー。
- 前記1つ以上のポリエーテルが、ポリ(エチレングリコール)、ポリ(プロピレングリコール)、及びポリ(エチレングリコール)とポリ(プロピレングリコール)のコポリマーから選択される、請求項7に記載のセグメント化ブロックコポリマー。
