Abstract
Description
細胞培養容器において、
底部、上部、及び側壁を有する少なくとも1つの細胞培養チャンバ;
第1の方向及び前記第1の方向に対して垂直な第2の方向に拡がるベース平面を画成する上面を有するベースであって;
前記底部、前記上部及び前記側壁の各々が前記細胞培養チャンバの内側に面する表面を有し;
少なくとも前記細胞培養チャンバの前記底面がマイクロキャビティのアレイを含む
ベース;
前記容器の一方の側に前記細胞培養チャンバへのアクセスを提供する前記容器の上部の入口;
前記容器の反対の側に各細胞培養チャンバへのアクセスを提供する前記容器の底部の出口;
を含み、
前記細胞培養チャンバの前記底面が、前記ベース平面の前記第1の方向に対して第1の角度、かつ、前記ベース平かつ面の前記第2の方向に対して第2の角度であるテーブル平面を画成し;かつ、
前記第1の角度及び前記第2の角度のうちの少なくとも一方の絶対値がゼロより大きい、
細胞培養容器。
前記第1の角度又は前記第2の角度若しくはその両方の絶対値が約1°〜約30°である、実施形態1に記載の細胞培養容器。
前記第1の平面角の絶対値が約5°であり、前記第2の平面角の絶対値が約5°であり、あるいは前記第1の平面角及び前記第2の平面角の両方の絶対値が約5°である、実施形態1に記載の細胞培養容器。
前記入口が前記容器の上部隅部にある、実施形態1〜3のいずれかに記載の細胞培養容器。
前記出口が、前記入口の上部隅部と反対側の前記容器の底部隅部にある、実施形態4に記載の細胞培養容器。
一方が他方の上に積み重ねられた少なくとも2つの細胞培養チャンバを含む、実施形態1〜5のいずれかに記載の細胞培養容器。
前記入口が入口マニホルドを介して各細胞培養チャンバに流体接続されており、かつ各細胞培養チャンバが前記細胞培養チャンバと前記入口マニホルドとの間に入口開口部を有する、実施形態6に記載の細胞培養容器。
前記出口が出口マニホルドを介して各細胞培養チャンバに流体接続されており、及び各細胞培養チャンバが前記細胞培養チャンバと前記出口マニホルドとの間に出口開口部を有する、実施形態6又は7に記載の細胞培養容器。
各細胞培養チャンバの前記底部が、ガス透過性かつ液体不透過性の材料を含む、実施形態6〜8のいずれかに記載の細胞培養容器。
各細胞培養チャンバが、気管スペースによってそのすぐ隣にある細胞培養チャンバから分離されている、実施形態9に記載の細胞培養容器。
実施形態1〜10のいずれかに記載の細胞培養容器内で細胞を培養する方法であって、
前記入口を介して前記細胞培養チャンバ内に細胞及び培地を含む液体を導入すること;
重力によって細胞を前記マイクロキャビティ内に定着させること;及び、
細胞を培養すること
を含む、実施形態1〜10のいずれかに記載の細胞培養容器内で細胞を培養する方法。
前記細胞を培養する間、前記入口を介して前記容器内に液体を流し、前記細胞培養チャンバを通し、前記出口を介して前記容器から流出させることをさらに含む、実施形態11に記載の方法。

Claims (12)
- 細胞培養容器において、
底部、上部、及び側壁を有する少なくとも1つの細胞培養チャンバ;
第1の方向及び前記第1の方向に対して垂直な第2の方向に拡がる支持面を画成するベースであって;
前記底部、前記上部及び前記側壁が各々、前記細胞培養チャンバの内側に面する表面を有し;
少なくとも前記細胞培養チャンバの前記底面がマイクロキャビティのアレイを含む、
ベース;
前記容器の一方の側に前記細胞培養チャンバへのアクセスを提供する前記容器の上部の入口;
前記容器の反対の側に各細胞培養チャンバへのアクセスを提供する前記容器の底部の出口;を含み、
前記ベースの前記支持面の第1の方向が前記入口と前記出口との間の軸に沿っており;
前記ベースの前記支持面の第2の方向が前記入口と前記出口との間の軸に対して垂直であり;
前記細胞培養チャンバの前記底面が、前記支持面の前記第1の方向に対して第1の角度であり、前記支持面の前記第2の方向に対して第2の角度であり;かつ
前記第1の角度及び前記第2の角度のうちの少なくとも一方の絶対値がゼロより大きい、細胞培養容器。 - 前記第1の角度又は前記第2の角度若しくはその両方の絶対値が約1°〜約30°である、請求項1に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 前記第1の平面角の絶対値が約5°であり、前記第2の平面角の絶対値が約5°であり、あるいは前記第1の平面角及び前記第2の平面角の両方の絶対値が約5°である、請求項1に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 一方が他方の上に積み重ねられた少なくとも2つの細胞培養チャンバを含む、請求項1に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 前記入口が入口マニホルドを介して各細胞培養チャンバに流体接続されており、かつ各細胞培養チャンバが前記細胞培養チャンバと前記入口マニホルドとの間に入口開口部を有する、請求項4に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 前記出口が出口マニホルドを介して各細胞培養チャンバに流体接続されており、かつ各細胞培養チャンバが前記細胞培養チャンバと前記出口マニホルドとの間に出口開口部を有する、請求項5に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 各細胞培養チャンバの前記底部が、ガス透過性かつ液体不透過性の材料を含む、請求項4に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 各細胞培養チャンバが、気管スペースによってそのすぐ隣にある細胞培養チャンバから分離されている、請求項7に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 前記入口が前記容器の上部隅部にある、請求項1に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 前記出口が、前記入口の上部隅部と反対側の前記容器の底部隅部にある、請求項9に記載の細胞培養容器。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の細胞培養容器内で細胞を培養する方法であって、
前記入口を介して前記細胞培養チャンバ内に細胞及び培地を含む液体を導入すること;
重力によって細胞を前記マイクロキャビティ内に定着させること;及び、
細胞を培養すること
を含む、方法。 - 前記細胞を培養する間、液体を、前記入口を介して前記容器内に流し、前記細胞培養チャンバを通し、前記出口を介して前記容器から流出させることをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
