Abstract
【解決手段】ガラス組成をモル%で記述して、SiO2:50%以上、Al2O3:9〜17%、B2O3:2〜12%、SnO2:0超〜2%、並びにアルカリ金属酸化物(R2O)およびアルカリ土類金属酸化物(RO)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種類の改質剤を含み、イオン交換可能であり、(Al2O3%+B2O3%)/Σ改質剤%>1、および1<R2O%/Al2O3%<1.3を満たし、Na2O:8〜16%を含み、リチウムを含まないことを特徴とするアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。

Description
1.アルカリ金属酸化物およびアルカリ土類金属酸化物からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種類の改質剤を含むアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスであって、イオン交換可能であり、(Al2O3(モル%)+B2O3(モル%))/Σ改質剤(モル%)>1である、アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
2.強化されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスである、実施態様1記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
3.強化されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスがイオン交換されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスである、実施態様2記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。

28.イオン交換されたときに、少なくとも30kgfのビッカース中央/放射状亀裂発生閾値を有する、実施態様26記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
29.少なくとも500gfの圧痕荷重が印加されたときに緻密化変形による圧痕変形を示し、かつ表面下剪断破壊を実質的に含まない、実施態様25から28いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
30.少なくとも500gfのビッカース中央/放射状亀裂発生閾値を有する、実施態様25から29いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
31.少なくとも27cm3/モルのモル体積を有する、実施態様25から30いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
32.イオン交換されたときに、約400MPaの圧縮応力および少なくとも約15μmの層の深さを有する、実施態様25から31いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
33.イオン交換したときに、実質的に壊れにくいものである、実施態様25から32いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
34.イオン交換されたときに、少なくとも5Nの荷重でヌープダイヤモンドにより形成された引掻き傷の幅wの2倍超のサイズを有するチップを含まない、実施態様25から33いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
35.イオン交換されている、実施態様25から34いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
36.イオン交換されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが、電子装置のためのエンクロージャの少なくとも一部分を形成する、実施態様25から35いずれか記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
37.電子装置のためのガラスエンクロージャであって、幅wの引っ掻き傷を形成するために少なくとも5Nの荷重でヌープダイヤモンドに引っ掻かれたときに、幅wの2倍超のサイズを有するチップを含まない強化ガラスを含む、ガラスエンクロージャ。
38.少なくとも20kgfのビッカース中央/放射状亀裂発生閾値を有する、実施態様37記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
39.少なくとも30kgfのビッカース中央/放射状亀裂発生閾値を有する、実施態様38記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
40.少なくとも500gfの圧痕荷重が印加されたときに緻密化変形による圧痕変形を示し、かつ表面下剪断破壊を実質的に含まない、実施態様37から39いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
41.該ガラスエンクロージャが、ベゼルに隣接して配置され、該ベゼルから盛り上がっている(proud of)、実施態様37から40いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
42.前記強化ガラスが、強化アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスである、実施態様37から41いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
43.前記強化アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが、イオン交換により強化されたものである、実施態様42記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
44.前記強化アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが、60〜72モル%のSiO2、9〜16モル%のAl2O3、5〜12モル%のB2O3、8〜16モル%のNa2O、および0〜4モル%のK2Oを含み、(Al2O3(モル%)+B2O3(モル%))/Σ改質剤(モル%)>1であり、前記改質剤は、アルカリ金属酸化物およびアルカリ土類金属酸化物からなる群より選択される、実施態様42または43記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
45.前記アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスはリチウムを含まない、実施態様42から44いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
46.前記アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスは、ヒ素、アンチモン、およびバリウムの内の少なくとも1種類を含まない、実施態様42から45いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
47.前記アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスはダウンドロー可能である、実施態様42から46いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
48.前記アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスは少なくとも130キロポアズの液相線粘度を有する、実施態様42から47いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
49.前記強化ガラスは少なくとも27cm3/モルのモル体積を有する、実施態様42から48いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
50.該ガラスエンクロージャは保護されておらず、コンクリートと同等またはそれ以上の粗さを有する表面上に1mドロップ(drop)を残存させることができる、実施態様37から49いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。
51.鋭い物体による直接的な衝撃を受けたときに、表面下の破壊ならびに放射状亀裂および中央の亀裂がない、実施態様37から50いずれか記載のガラスエンクロージャ。

Claims (10)
- アルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスであって、50モル%以上のSiO2、9〜17モル%のAl2O3、2〜12モル%のB2O3、>0〜2モル%のSnO2、並びにアルカリ金属酸化物(R2O)およびアルカリ土類金属酸化物(RO)からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種類の改質剤を含み、イオン交換可能であり、(Al2O3(モル%)+B2O3(モル%))/Σ改質剤(モル%)>1、および1<R2O(モル%)/Al2O3(モル%)<1.3を満たし、8−16モル%のNa2Oを含み、リチウムを含まないことを特徴とするアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- イオン交換され、少なくとも10kgfのビッカース中央/放射状亀裂発生閾値を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記イオン交換されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが、少なくとも400MPaの圧縮応力および少なくとも15μmの層の深さを有することを特徴とする請求項2記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 前記イオン交換されたアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラスが、少なくとも5Nの荷重でヌープダイヤモンドにより形成された引掻き傷の幅wの2倍超延在する横方向の損傷を含まないことを特徴とする請求項2または3記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 少なくとも500gfの圧痕荷重が印加されたときに、緻密化変形による圧痕変形を示し、表面下剪断破壊を実質的に含まないことを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 少なくとも27cm3/モルのモル体積を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 69MPa未満のヤング率を有することを特徴とする請求項1から6いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 60〜72モル%のSiO2、2〜10モル%のB2O3、および0〜4モル%のK2Oを含み、8≦Na2O+K2O≦18であり、ヒ素、アンチモンおよびバリウムの内の少なくとも1種類を含まないことを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 1.05<R2O(モル%)/Al2O3(モル%)<1.2であることを特徴とする請求項1から8いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
- 電子装置のためのエンクロージャの少なくとも一部分を形成することを特徴とする請求項1から9いずれか1項記載のアルミノホウケイ酸塩ガラス。
