Abstract
【解決手段】電気自動車に搭載されるバッテリユニット14は、バッテリケース50と、複数のバッテリモジュール60とを備えている。バッテリケース50は、下部側のトレイ部材51と、上部側のカバー部材52とを含んでいる。トレイ部材51は、車体11の幅方向Wに延びる桁部材101,102,103,104によってサイドメンバ31,32に固定されている。バッテリモジュール60は、複数個のバッテリセル64によって構成されている。バッテリケース50に収容される全てのバッテリセル64のうち、少なくとも車体の側部付近に配置される外周側のバッテリセル64については、電池要素66の積層方向Xが車体11の幅方向Wを向くように、トレイ部材51上に配置されている。

図1は電気自動車10の一例を示している。この電気自動車10は、車体11の後部に配置された走行用のモータ12および充電装置13と、車体11の床下に配置されるバッテリユニット14などを備えている。車体11の前部に冷暖房用の熱交換ユニット15が配置されている。

Claims (3)
- 車体に搭載されるバッテリユニットを備えた電気自動車であって、
前記バッテリユニットは、
前記車体に固定されるバッテリケースと、
前記バッテリケースに収納された複数個のバッテリセルによって構成されるバッテリモジュールとを有し、
前記バッテリケースは、
前記バッテリセルを載置するトレイ部材と、
前記トレイ部材の上に重ねた状態で前記トレイ部材に固定されるカバー部材とを有し、
前記バッテリセルは外装部材の内部に積層されたシート状の電池要素を有し、
前記バッテリケースに収容される全てのバッテリセルのうち、少なくとも車体の側部付近に配置される外周側のバッテリセルを、前記電池要素の積層方向が車体の幅方向に沿うように前記トレイ部材上に載置したことを特徴とする電気自動車。 - 前記車体の幅方向に離間して配置された一対のサイドメンバを有し、
前記トレイ部材が前記車体の幅方向に延びる桁部材によって前記一対のサイドメンバに固定され、前記トレイ部材の側壁が前記サイドメンバに沿って配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気自動車。 - 前記トレイ部材の側壁の上端が前記外周側のバッテリセルの上端と下端との間の側面部に対向していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気自動車。
