Definitions

  • Cooking chamber insert with grip zones between the exposed heating element and the edge, as well as cooking appliance
  • One aspect of the invention relates to a cooking chamber insert for detachable installation in a cooking chamber of a cooking appliance.
  • the cooking chamber insert is designed in particular in the form of a plate.
  • a further aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance.
  • a baking oven is known from DE 102010 030471 A1.
  • the oven has a separate cooking space divider element that is provided with at least one large-area heating element.
  • the cooking chamber dividing element represents a built-in unit that can be introduced into the cooking chamber of the oven in a specific insertion level. As a result, the cooking space can be divided into individually heatable, adjacent cooking space areas. However, this built-in unit has only one integrated heating element. This limits the usability.
  • a heatable slide-in cooking chamber divider and a cooking appliance are known from EP 2 431 667 A1. An upper side of the slide-in cooking chamber divider is designed as a receptacle for the food to be cooked and is trough-shaped in this regard. A surface heating is integrated in the plate-shaped slide-in cooking space divider.
  • a temperature sensor can also be provided. This heatable slide-in cooking space divider is also limited in terms of its usability.
  • An electric baking and roasting oven is known from DE 42 17 545 A1.
  • the oven has a plate that can be inserted into the cooking cavity and has a heating element that gives off heat downwards.
  • the plate has an insulation with a depression formed on the underside, in which the heating element is arranged.
  • the cooking space insert for detachable installation in a cooking chamber of a cooking appliance.
  • the cooking space insert is plate-shaped.
  • the cooking chamber insert has a base plate.
  • the cooking space insert also has a heating element.
  • the heating element is arranged on an underside of the base plate viewed in the height direction of the cooking chamber insert.
  • the heating element is arranged on a side facing away from the underside of the base plate so that it is at least partially exposed downwards.
  • a delimiting web is formed on this underside, which encloses the heating element on the circumference at least in regions and which is arranged so that it overlaps with the heating element in the vertical direction of the cooking chamber insert.
  • a lateral contact protection for the heating element is formed by the limiting web.
  • the boundary web can also be referred to as a boundary wall or boundary wall. Viewed along its longitudinal axis, at least in sections, the delimiting web is offset inward in comparison to a peripheral edge of the base plate. This delimiting web has an outside facing away from the heating element. This outside is offset inwards at least in sections compared to a contoured edge or an outer peripheral edge of the base plate. This means that in a direction parallel to a plane in which the base plate extends, this delimiting web is offset inwards relative to this peripheral edge. As a result, a downwardly exposed area is formed between the peripheral edge and an outside of the limiting ridge.
  • a grip zone for carrying the cooking chamber insert is formed by this plate area of the base plate.
  • a cooking chamber insert of this type therefore makes it possible for improved protection towards the heating element to be made possible, but on the other hand it is also possible for the cooking chamber insert to be gripped easily and securely at the edge. Reliable and safe carrying of the cooking chamber insert can thus also be made possible.
  • this cooking space insert is a portable cooking space insert. A user can thus grip the cooking chamber insert in a significantly improved manner.
  • the specially designed grip zones which are also intended for gripping, encourage this user behavior. These grip zones are preferably designed locally in such a way that they are virtually separated from the heating element. Undesirable accidental touching of the heating element with the fingers can therefore be practically avoided. It is particularly advantageous in the context that such a configuration of a Boundary web is multifunctional.
  • the gripping zone is formed by the defined positioning of the delimiting bar relative to the peripheral edge, which is also directly delimited by the delimiting bar itself. This also enables a compact structure with fewer components and one that is also reduced in terms of shape complexity. This is because a grip zone does not have to be formed in addition to the delimiting bar, which is delimited exclusively by other components, but the delimiting bar is also used for this purpose in terms of position and function and is arranged accordingly in the context.
  • the base plate is designed without interruptions when viewed over its surface. This means that in particular it has no through holes or the like.
  • a grid or the like is not to be understood as a base plate.
  • the peripheral edge has a projection that protrudes downwards when viewed in the height direction of the cooking chamber insert. At least one recessed grip is then formed as a grip zone between this overhang and the outside of the delimiting web. Such a recessed grip is thus delimited on the inside by the outside of the delimiting web and on the outside by this overhang. In this way, a recessed grip that is in particular only open towards the bottom is formed. This enables a particularly user-friendly and safe gripping. Last but not least, the peripheral edge as such can also be stiffened by this overhang. Here, too, a multifunctional component is provided in the form of the supernatant.
  • this overhang is formed in one piece with the base plate.
  • it can be realized, for example, by forming. This is particularly the case when the base plate is made of metal at least in certain areas, in particular in the area of the peripheral edge.
  • a first lateral recessed grip is formed as a gripping zone between the overhang and the outside of the delimiting web.
  • a second lateral recessed grip which is different from the first recessed grip, as a gripping zone educated. This means that the cooking space insert can be gripped on opposite side areas at the same time. A particularly simple and safe carrying, especially in the horizontal direction, is made possible.
  • a recessed grip on the front, viewed in the depth direction of the cooking chamber insert is formed as a gripping zone between the projection and the outside of the delimiting web.
  • the delimiting web is integrated into the base plate. This means that it is made in one piece with the base plate.
  • the base plate can be made of metal at least in some areas.
  • the delimiting web can then be formed in the base plate, for example by reshaping.
  • the number of components is reduced by integrating the limiting web.
  • no assembly work is required.
  • positional tolerances can be reduced compared to an embodiment in which the limiter bar is a separate part that is mounted to the base plate.
  • the delimiting web has local feet. These feet can be designed to be integrated in the delimiting bar. The corresponding exemplary embodiments apply here, as they were also already mentioned above for the integral configuration of the delimiting web in the base plate. Local installation elements can thus be provided as intended with the feet. With these, the cooking chamber insert can then be placed directly on a surface. For example, to do this, it can simply be placed on the top of a worktop in a kitchen unit.
  • the feet are formed on at least two corner areas of the delimiting bar. As a result, there are very exposed places for the feet chosen. A particularly stable and tilt-free installation is thereby made possible, although the cooking space insert then actually has direct contact with the installation surface only at local points where the feet are formed.
  • the delimiting web is a deep-drawn delimiting web. This means in particular that it is formed from the material of the base plate by deep drawing, in particular by reshaping the base plate.
  • deep drawing is a very simple and highly precise forming process. Relatively individual configurations of integrated components can also be realized in this way.
  • the heating element is attached to the base plate with a detachable connection.

  • the base plate has a bottom plate and a top plate. An intermediate space between these two panels is formed by this floor panel and the ceiling panel and is delimited by these two panels.

  • the items to be cooked are placed directly on the upper side of the base plate when the cooking chamber insert is arranged in the cooking chamber.
