技术领域
这里所公开的实施例总体上涉及数字摄影机,更具体来说涉及可以被合并到例如移动电话之类的便携式电子产品中的纤薄双孔径变焦数字摄影机。
背景技术
紧凑的多孔径并且特别是双孔径(其也被称作“双透镜”或“双摄影机”)数字摄影机是已知的。小型化技术允许把这样的摄影机合并在例如平板设备和移动电话(后者在后文中通常被称作“智能电话”)之类的紧凑的便携式电子设备中,其中所述摄影机提供例如变焦之类的先进成像能力,例如参见标题为“High-resolution thin multi-apertureimaging systems(高分辨率纤薄多孔径成像系统)”的共同所有的PCT专利申请号PCT/IB2013/060356,其被全文合并在此以作参考。在制造之后,在最终产品中(例如在智能电话中)对双摄影机系统(其示例性地包括广角(或“Wide”)摄影机和长焦(或“Tele”)摄影机)进行校准。
系统校准通过在全部两个摄影机中捕获已知的对象来匹配长焦和广角图像像素。这样允许更快并且更加可靠地应用两个摄影机之间的融合,正如在PCT/IB2013/060356中所描述的那样。这样的摄影机可能遇到的一个问题是例如掉落冲击之类的小意外。掉落冲击可能导致发生在系统校准之后的两个摄影机之间的相对移动,从而改变长焦与广角图像之间的像素匹配,并且从而阻碍长焦与广角图像之间的快速可靠的融合。
双孔径变焦摄影机的另一个问题涉及其高度。在长焦和广角摄影机的高度(其也被称作光学总长“TTL”)中存在很大差异。参见图1,TTL被定义成第一透镜元件的物侧表面与摄影机图像传感器平面之间的最大距离。在后面,下标“W”和“T”分别指代广角和长焦摄影机。参见图1,在大多数小型透镜中,TTL大于透镜有效焦距(EFL),所述有效焦距在本领域内的含义是众所周知的。对应于给定透镜(或透镜套件)的典型的TTL/EFL比值是大约1.3。在单孔径智能电话摄影机中,EFL通常是3.5mm,从而导致70-80°的视场。假设希望在智能电话中实现双孔径X2光学变焦,很自然的是将使用EFLW=3.5mm和EFLT=2xEFLW=7mm。但是在没有空间限制的情况下,广角透镜将具有EFLW=3.5mm和3.5x1.3=4.55mm的TTLW,长焦透镜则将具有EFLT=7mm和7x1.3=9.1mm的TTLT。把9.1mm的透镜合并到智能电话摄影机中将导致大约9.8mm的摄影机高度,这对于许多智能电话制造商来说是不可接受的。此外,参见图2,广角与长焦摄影机之间的较大高度差异(近似4.55mm)可能导致遮蔽和挡光问题。
第三个问题涉及在双孔径变焦摄影机中实施标准光学图像稳定化(OIS)。标准OIS通过平行于图像传感器(示例性地处于X-Y平面中)的透镜移动(“LMV”)来补偿摄影机倾斜(“CT”)。摄影机倾斜导致图像模糊。对于抵消给定的摄影机倾斜所需要的LMV的数量(以mm计)取决于摄影机透镜EFL并且是根据关系式LMV=CT*EFL,其中“CT”以弧度计,EFL以mm计。由于如前所示双孔径变焦摄影机可能包括具有显著不同的EFL的两个透镜,因此不可能一同移动全部两个摄影机并且对于长焦和广角摄影机二者都实现最优的倾斜补偿。也就是说,由于倾斜对于全部两个摄影机是相同的,因此将抵消对应于广角摄影机的倾斜的移动将不足以抵消对应于长焦摄影机的倾斜。类似地,将抵消对应于长焦摄影机的倾斜的移动将过度补偿对应于广角摄影机的倾斜抵消。通过为每一个摄影机指派单独的OIS致动器可以实现同时倾斜补偿,但是其代价是复杂并且昂贵的摄影机系统。
发明内容
这里所公开的实施例涉及具有改进的掉落冲击抗性、更小的总厚度、广角与长焦摄影机之间的更小的TTL差异以及改进的OIS补偿的纤薄双孔径变焦摄影机。
在一些实施例中,提供了包括具有对应的广角透镜的广角摄影机和具有对应的长焦透镜的长焦摄影机的双孔径变焦摄影机,所述广角和长焦摄影机被直接安放在单个印刷电路板上,其中广角和长焦透镜具有对应的有效焦距EFLW和EFLT以及对应的光学总长TTLW和TTLT,并且其中TTLW/EFLW&gt;1.1并且TTLT/EFLT&lt;1.0。

具体实施方式
本发明的发明人已经确定,通过把两个摄影机直接安放在单个印刷电路板上并且通过最小化其间的距离“d”,可以避免或者最小化摄影机移动(其作为示例而非限制是由于例如掉落冲击之类的小意外而导致的)。图3示出了包括直接安放在单个印刷电路板305上的两个摄影机302和304的双孔径摄影机300的一个实施例。每一个摄影机包括透镜套件(分别是306和308)、致动器(分别是310和312)和图像传感器(分别是314和316)。所述两个致动器被刚性地安放在刚性底座318上,所述刚性底座318通过柔性元件320柔性连接到印刷电路板。可以通过由OIS控制器402(图4)控制的OIS机制(未示出)来移动底座318。OIS控制器耦合到倾斜传感器(作为示例是陀螺仪)404(图4)并且从该处接收摄影机倾斜信息。后面参照图4给出了关于这里所公开的OIS规程的更多细节。所述两个摄影机通过通常是1mm的较小距离“d”分开。摄影机之间的这一较小距离还减少了透视效应,从而允许摄影机之间的更加平滑的变焦过渡。

一般来说,图3中示出的摄影机规格可以是如下:摄影机的长度L(Y方向上)可以在13-25mm之间变化,摄影机的宽度W(X方向上)可以在6-12mm之间变化,并且摄影机的高度H(垂直于X-Y平面的Z方向上)可以在4-12mm之间变化。在这里所公开的智能电话摄影机中更加典型的是,L=18mm,W=8.5mm,并且H=7mm。

利用如前面那样设计的长焦透镜,TTLT被减小到7x0.87=6.09mm,从而导致小于7mm的摄影机高度(在智能电话中是可接受的)。(与广角摄影机的)高度差也被减小到近似1.65mm,从而导致更少的遮蔽和挡光问题。
在这里所公开的双孔径摄影机的一些实施例中,比值“e”=EFLT/EFLW处于1.3-2.0的范围内。在一些实施例中,比值TTLT/TTLW&lt;0.8e。在一些实施例中,比值TTLT/TTLW处于1.0-1.25的范围内。一般来说,在这里所公开的摄影机实施例中,EFLW可以处于2.5-6mm的范围内,并且EFLT可以处于5-12mm的范围内。

具有负折射本领并且与第一透镜元件通过第一气隙分开的、在光轴上具有厚度d2的第二透镜元件;
具有负折射本领并且与第二透镜元件通过第二气隙分开的第三透镜元件;
具有正折射本领并且与第三透镜元件通过第三气隙分开的第四透镜元件;
具有负折射本领并且与第四透镜元件通过第四气隙分开的第五透镜元件,其在光轴上具有厚度d5
2.权利要求1的双孔径变焦摄影机,其中第一透镜元件的焦距f1小于TTLT/2,第一、第三和第五透镜元件分别具有大于50的阿贝数,第二和第四透镜元件分别具有小于30的阿贝数,第一气隙小于d2/2,第三气隙大于TTLT/5,以及第四气隙小于1.5d5
