Abstract

Patente de invenção:<B>"HEXOSE OXIDASE RECOMBINANTE, UM MéTODO DE PRODUZIR A MESMA E USO DE TAL ENZIMA".<D> Um método de produzir hexose oxidase por tecnologia do DNA recombinante e o uso de tal enzima, em particular na fabricação de produtos alimentícios, tais como massas para fazer pão e produtos de laticínios, alimentos para animais, susbstâncias farmacêuticas, cosméticos, produtos de cuidado dentário, e na fabricação de lactonas. As fontes adequadas de DNA codificando para a enzima são as espécies algáceas marinhas, incluindo Chondrus crispus, Iridophycus flaccidum e Euthora cristata. Nas modalidades úteis, a hexose oxidase recombinante é produzida por Pichia pastoris, Saccharomyces cerevisiae ou E. coli.
