Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR PICHE MESOFÁSICO DE PETRÓLEO POR HIDROGENAÇÃO DE ALCATRÃO DE HULHA À ALTA TEMPERATURA. Trata-se de um processo para produzir piche mesofásico de petróleo a partir de alcatrão de hulha à alta temperatura que compreende: remoção de sais e fração insolúvel de quinolina a partir de um alcatrão de hulha à alta temperatura para obter um óleo de decantação; usar o óleo de decantação como uma matéria prima de hidrogenação, ou pré-destilar o óleo de decantação para obter um resíduo com um ponto de ebulição maior do que 230ºC e formular o resíduo em uma matéria prima de hidrogenação; hidrorrefinar cataliticamente a matéria prima de hidrogenação para obter um óleo hidrorrefinado; destilar o óleo hidrorrefinado para obter piche de petróleo hidrogenado; e submeter o piche de petróleo hidrogenado à polimerização térmica para obter o piche mesofásico de petróleo. O processo tem recursos tais como um grau de hidrogenação facilmente controlável, remoção completa de impurezas, boa fluidez da matéria prima, não tendendo a formar a deposição de carbono e a coqueificação durante o processo, e não tendendo a obstruir o reator. O produto tem um alto conteúdo de piche mesofásico de petróleo, um ponto de amolecimento baixo e um baixo conteúdo de impurezas.
