Description

Claims (8)
- 多孔性基材から形成された補強層を準備するステップであって、前記多孔性基材が非導電性繊維性材料から形成されてなるステップと、
リチウムおよび/またはナトリウムから形成された金属箔の第1の層および第2の層を準備するステップと、
前記金属箔の第1の層と第2の層との間に、前記補強層を設けるステップと、
圧力を印加して、前記の各層を共に接合して100ミクロン以下の厚みを有するコンポジット構造体を形成する圧接ステップとを含む、金属箔電極を形成する方法であって、
前記コンポジット構造体の厚みは、前記補強層、前記金属箔の第1の層、および前記金属箔の第2の層の初期厚みの合計よりも少なくとも25%少ない、方法。 - 前記コンポジット構造体を切断するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポジット構造体の厚みが、前記補強層、前記金属箔の第1の層、および前記金属箔の第2の層の初期厚みの合計よりも少なくとも50%少ない、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポジット構造体の厚みが、前記補強層、前記金属箔の第1の層、および前記金属箔の第2の層の初期厚みの合計よりも少なくとも75%少ない、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポジット構造体の厚みが、前記金属箔の第1の層、および、前記金属箔の第2の層の初期厚みの合計よりも少ない、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記コンポジット構造体の厚みが、前記金属箔の第1の層、または、前記金属箔の第2の層の初期厚みよりも少ない、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 電気化学電池の陰極として前記電極を使用するステップをさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記圧接ステップが、前記した層を共にカレンダー加工してコンポジット構造体を形成することによって達成される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
