前記電解質は、ピロカーボネートなどの過充電防止剤のような添加剤をさらに含むことができる。
[実施例1]
LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2とLiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2を50:50(質量比)の比率で混合した正極活物質を用意し、ここにカーボンブラック及びフッ化ビニル樹脂を混合して正極スラリーを製造し、正極を用意した。また、負極活物質に天然黒鉛を使用し、電解質に1.15MのLiPF6とエチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):ジエチルカーボネート(DMC)を3:4:3(体積比)の比率で混合して用意し、リチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりにLiNi0.5Co0.15Mn0.35O2を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりにLiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.33O2を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。ここで、前記LiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.35O2は、平均二次粒子径が3μmであるものを用いた。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりにLiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.33O2を使用したことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。ここで、前記LiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.35O2は、平均二次粒子径が6μmであるものを用いた。
LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2とLiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2を70:30(質量比)で混合したことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりにLiNi0.5Co0.15Mn0.35O2を70:30(質量比)で混合したことを除いては、実施例2と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりに3μmの平均2次粒子径を有するLiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.33O2を70:30(質量比)で混合したことを除いては、実施例3と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2の代わりに6μmの平均2次粒子径を有するLiNi0.33Co0.33Mn0.33O2を70:30(質量比)で混合したことを除いては、実施例4と同様な方法でリチウム2次電池を製造した。
LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2の85質量%の正極活物質を用意し、ここに8質量%の導電剤及び7質量%のバインダーを混合し、正極スラリーを製造して正極を用意した。また、負極活物質に天然黒鉛を使用し、電解質に1.15MのLiPF6とエチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):ジエチルカーボネート(DMC)を3:4:3(体積比)の比率で混合して用意し、リチウム2次電池を製造した。
前記で製造された実施例1〜8及び比較例1によるリチウム2次電池を25℃のチェンバで充電/放電を繰り返し、充電/放電による放電出力維持率(%)を測定した。ここで、放電出力維持率は、充電/放電を繰り返した時、リチウム2次電池の初期出力に対比して出力がどのぐらい維持されるかを示す。
前記で製造された実施例1〜8及び比較例1によるリチウム2次電池を60%の充電状態で60℃チェンバで放置し、放置日数に応じた初期放電出力対比放電出力減少率(%)を測定した。

Claims (7)
- 下記の化学式1で示される第1正極活物質と、下記の化学式2で示される第2正極活物質とのみからなり、前記第1正極活物質と、前記第2正極活物質とを質量比70:30〜50:50の混合比率で含み、前記第2正極活物質の平均二次粒子径は3μm〜15μmである、
リチウム2次電池用正極活物質。

(前記化学式1で、前記Mは、Alであり、前記a、b、c、及びdは、各々、0.95≦a≦1.1、0.5≦b≦0.9、0<c≦0.3、及び0<d≦0.1を満足する)

(前記化学式2で、前記e、f、g、及びhは、各々、0.95≦e≦1.1、0.33≦f≦0.5、0.15≦g≦0.33、及び0.3≦h≦0.35を満足する) - 前記第1正極活物質の平均二次粒子径は5μm〜15μmである、請求項1に記載のリチウム2次電池用正極活物質。
- 前記第1正極活物質の平均一次粒子径は0.1μm〜0.5μmである、請求項2に記載のリチウム2次電池用正極活物質。
- 前記リチウム2次電池用正極活物質の合材密度は2.0g/ml〜4.0g/mlである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のリチウム2次電池用正極活物質。
- 前記リチウム2次電池用正極活物質の単位面積当たりに含まれる量であるローディングレベルは10mg/cm2〜40mg/cm2である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のリチウム2次電池用正極活物質。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の正極活物質と、導電剤と、バインダーとを含む、リチウム2次電池用正極。
- 請求項6に記載の正極と、負極と、電解質とを含む、リチウム2次電池。
