Claims (9)
- 電動工具用の電池パックを含むオペレーションを行う方法であって、前記電池パックは、筐体と、前記筐体に支持される、所定電圧の第1の電池セルと、前記筐体に支持される、所定電圧の第2の電池セルとを含み、電動工具に接続可能であり、前記電動工具を作動させるために電力を供給するように動作可能であり、
導通状態で前記第1の電池セルに接続される第1のトランジスタを配置するステップと、
前記第1のトランジスタが前記導通状態の時に、前記第1の電池セルの電圧を測定するステップと、
導通状態で前記第2の電池セルに接続される第2のトランジスタを配置するステップと、
前記第2のトランジスタが前記導通状態の時に、前記第2の電池セルの電圧を測定するステップと、
前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルの一方を、その電圧が前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルの他方の電圧とほぼ等しくなるまで、放電するステップとを備える、方法。 - 前記放電するステップは、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルのうち、電圧がより高い一方を、その電圧が前記他方の電圧とほぼ等しくなるまで放電させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルの一方に関連する前記測定するステップに基づいて、前記放電するステップが行われる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記電池パックは、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルに接続されたコントローラをさらに含み、前記両測定するステップは、前記電圧を前記コントローラを用いて判定するステップを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記両測定するステップの後、前記コントローラを用いて、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルのどちらに、前記放電するステップを実施するかを判定するステップをさらに備える、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記電池パックは、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルに接続され、かつ、前記電池パックを前記電動工具に接続するように動作可能な少なくとも1個の端子をさらに含み、前記方法は、前記電動工具に電力を供給するため、前記端子を介して電力を供給するように、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルを放電するステップをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルを充電するステップをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電池パックは少なくとも1個の端子をさらに含み、前記端子は、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルに接続され、かつ、電池充電器に前記電池パックを接続するように動作可能であり、前記電池充電器は、電源に接続可能であり、また前記電池パックに電力を供給するように動作可能であり、前記充電するステップは、前記電池充電器から前記電池パックに電力を供給するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記電池パックは、前記筐体に支持される、所定電圧の第3の電池セルをさらに含み、前記方法は、前記第3の電池セルの前記電圧が、前記第1の電池セルおよび前記第2の電池セルのうち、前記電圧がより低い電池セルの前記電圧とほぼ等しくなるまで、前記第3の電池セルを放電するステップをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
