Abstract
【解決手段】 電動工具10は、複数の二次電池セル112を電源とする電動工具であって、各々の二次電池セル112を個別に着脱可能となっている。電動工具10は、各々の二次電池セル112の状態を監視する監視回路140と、その監視回路140による監視結果を各々の二次電池セル112について表示する表示回路144を備えることが好ましい。この場合、監視回路140は、各々の二次電池セル112の出力電圧を監視し、表示回路144は、各々の二次電池セル112について、出力電圧が所定範囲内にあるのか否かを表示することが好ましい。

Description
図面を参照して、実施例1の電動工具10について説明する。図1、図2は、電動工具10の外観を示している。図1、図2に示すように、電動工具10は、工具本体12と、工具本体12に着脱可能なバッテリパック100を備えている。バッテリパック100は、再充電可能なバッテリパックであり、電動工具10の電源として工具本体12へ電力を供給する。工具本体12には、工具が着脱可能な工具ホルダ14と、ユーザによって操作されるメインスイッチ16と、ユーザによって把持されるグリップ18が設けられている。工具本体12の内部には、工具ホルダ14を駆動するモータ50や各種回路(図6参照)が収容されている。
図面を参照して、実施例2の電動工具310について説明する。上記した実施例1の電動工具10では、複数の二次電池セル112が、工具本体12に着脱可能なバッテリパック100に収容されていたのに対して、本実施例の電動工具310では、図10、図11、図12に示すように、複数の二次電池セル112が、工具本体12のへ直接的に取り付けられている。以下、本実施例の電動工具310について説明するが、実施例1の電動工具10と共通する構成については、同一の参照番号を付すことによって説明を省略する。

Claims (9)
- 複数の二次電池セルを電源とする電動工具であって、各々の二次電池セルが個別に着脱可能であることを特徴とする電動工具。
- 各々の二次電池セルの状態を監視する監視回路と、その監視回路による監視結果を各々の二次電池セルについて表示する表示回路と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動工具。
- 前記監視回路は、各々の二次電池セルの出力電圧と温度の少なくとも一方を監視し、
前記表示回路は、各々の二次電池セルについて、出力電圧又は温度が所定範囲内にあるのか否かを表示することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電動工具。 - 複数の二次電池セルによる電力供給を遮断するスイッチ回路をさらに備え、
前記監視回路は、少なくとも一つの二次電池セルの出力電圧又は温度が所定範囲内にないときに、前記スイッチ回路を開放することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電動工具。 - 前記電動工具は、工具本体と、その工具本体に着脱可能であるとともに前記複数の二次電池セルを収容しているバッテリパックと、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電動工具。
- 前記バッテリパックを充電するパック充電器をさらに備え、
前記バッテリパックは、各々の二次電池セルの状態を監視する監視回路を有し、
前記パック充電器は、前記バッテリパックの監視回路と通信可能に接続し、その監視回路による監視結果を各々の二次電池セルについて表示する表示回路を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電動工具。 - 取り外された二次電池セルを充電するセル充電器をさらに備え、そのセル充電器は、二次電池セルの温度を測定する温度センサを有することを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電動工具。
- 前記セル充電器は、充電中の二次電池セルの出力電圧が所定の上限値に達するか、充電開始から所定の時間が経過した時に、二次電池セルの充電を終了することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電動工具。
- 電動工具の電源となるバッテリパックであって、複数の二次電池セルを有しており、各々の二次電池セルが個別に着脱可能であることを特徴とするバッテリパック。
