Abstract

 耐熱性、シャットダウン特性、膜抵抗およびハンドリング性に優れた非水系二次電池用セパレータを提供する。本発明は、ポリオレフィン微多孔膜の少なくとも一方の表面に耐熱性多孔質層が被覆され一体化されている非水系二次電池用セパレータに用いるポリオレフィン微多孔膜であって、(A)膜厚5~20μm、(B)空孔率35~50%、(C)単位厚み当りの透気度(JIS P8117)が10~30秒/100cc・μm、かつ、膜全体の透気度(JIS P8117)が400秒/100cc以下、(D)透気度(JIS P8117)をX秒/100cc、前記ポリオレフィン微多孔膜に電解液を含浸させたときの膜抵抗をYohm・cm2としたとき、Y/X=1×10-3~1×10-2ohm・cm2/(秒/100cc)であることを特徴とする。
