Abstract

본 발명의 세퍼레이터는 기공도가 40 내지 60%이고, 기공의 평균 직경이 60nm 이하이고, 통기도가 350 s/100mL이하인 모노레이어 타입의 폴리올레핀계 미세다공성 막; 및 상기 미세다공성 막의 적어도 일면에 형성되어 있으며, 다수의 무기물 입자 및 바인더 고분자의 혼합물로 형성된 다공성 코팅층을 포함한다. 본 발명의 세퍼레이터를 구비한 전기화학소자는 열적 안정성이 우수할 뿐만 아니라, 누설전류(leak current)의 발생이 최소화되면서도 높은 출력을 낼 수 있다.
