Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、例えば電気ハンマのように工具本体軸方向に
強い振動が発生する振動工具のハンドル防振装置の改良
に関するものである。
一般に、振動工具において工具本体の軸方向にほぼ直交
する軸方向の上下にそれぞれ工具本体とハンドルとの連
結部が弾性体を介在させて形成されている場合、ハンド
ルの把持部が直交する軸上に無いため、振動工具を操作
する場合に連結部はこの直交軸に関する回転モーメント
を受ける。
そして、この回転モーメントによってハンドルにぐらつ
きが生じるが、ぐらつきが大きい場合には操作性が悪く
なる。
通常、このぐらつきを抑えるために、弾性体による結合
部の剛性を高めたり、または上記した直交する軸に直角
方向に広いスパンをとって弾性体を取り付ける方法が行
われているが、そのことによって防振効果が損われたり
形状が大きくなるなどの欠点があった。
本発明は上記の状況に鑑みなされたものであり、防振効
果を増大できるとともに操作性及び安全性を向上できる
振動工具のハンドル防振装置を提供することを目的とし
たものである。
本発明の振動工具のハンドル防振装置は、工具本体の軸
方向とほぼ直交する軸方向位置に上記工具本体とハンド
ルとを連結する連結部が形成され、上記連結部が、工具
本体及びハンドルにそれぞれ固定された弾性体支持部材
間の上記直交する軸周囲に弾性体を介在させ形成されて
なり、上記両弾柱体支持部材の一方の弾性体支持部材を
他方の弾性体支持部材に遊嵌合形成するとともに、両弾
柱体支持部材の遊嵌合された対向部に、上記弾性体の上
記直交する軸周囲に対する回動を阻止する突当部を設け
たものである。
以下本発明の振動工具のハンドル防振装置の一実施例を
、第１図、第２図により説明する。
１は工具本体、２はハンドルで、ハンドル２は工具本体
１の軸方向９と直交する軸方向１０位置の上下部で弾性
体６による結合部の連結部３において工具本体１に連結
されている。
４は工具本体１に固定された弾性体支持部材、５はハン
ドル２に固定された弾性体支持部材である。
弾性体７は角柱状の剛性が低いゴム材からなり、弾性体
支持部材４の両側で弾性体支持部材５の内側の２個所で
相対向する端面をそれぞれ接着固定されている。
７はハンドル２の把持部、８は弾性体支持部材５に遊嵌
合された弾性体支持部材４のそれぞれの対向部に形成さ
れた突当部である。
このハンドル防振装置において、工具本体１とハンドル
２との間は上記のように弾性体６を介在させて連結され
ているので、工具本体１の軸方向９の振動はハンドル２
に対して良好に絶縁されている。
そして、操作時に把持部７に軸方向９の荷重が加えられ
ると弾性体６は第３図の如く変形しさらに把持部７に横
荷重が加えられた場合は第４図のように傾くが、その傾
き角は、弾性体支持部材４，５の突当部８，８によって
制限され、角度以上の回動は阻止される。
尚、軸方向９図示の本体軸と軸方向１０図示の連結部３
の軸とを含む平面に直角な軸に関するハンドル２の回転
については、ハンドル２の２個の連結部３，３間の距離
が大きく問題にならない。
このように本実施例の振動工具のハンドル防振装置は本
体軸方向と直交する軸方向周囲に生じる回転に対して突
当部を設けているので一定量以上の回転を阻止できる。
従って弾性体の剛性を低くし振動吸収性能を増大するこ
とができ、操作性及び安全性を向上でき装置をコンパク
ト化できる。
尚、上記実施例は弾性体が主振動方向に断湿で用いられ
た場合について説明したが、圧縮形で用いても同様の作
用効果を有する。
以上記述した如く本発明の振動工具のハンドル防振装置
は、防振性能、操作性、安全性を向上できる効果を有す
るものである。

第１図は本発明の振動工具のハンドル防振装置の一実施
例の工具に取付状態の要部を断面で示した側面図、第２
図は第１図の連結部の斜視図、第３図は第２図の連結部
に軸方向荷重が加わった時の作動説明図、第４図は第３
図の状態に更に横荷重が加えられた時の作動説明図であ
る。 １・・・・・・工具本体、２・・・・・・ハンドル、３
・・・・・・連結部、４，５・・・・・・弾性体支持部
材、６・・・・・・弾性体、８・・・・・・突当部、９
，１０・・・・・・軸方向。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 工具本体の軸方向とほぼ直交する軸方向位置に上記
    工具本体とハンドルとを連結する連絡部が形成され、上
    記連結部が、工具本体及びハンドルにそれぞれ固定され
    た弾性体支持部材間の上記直交する軸周囲に弾性体を介
    在させ形成されてなるものにおいて、上記両弾柱体支持
    部材の一方の弾性体支持部材を他方の弾性体支持部材に
    遊嵌合形成するとともに、両弾柱体支持部材の遊嵌合さ
    れた対向部に、上記弾性体の上記直交する軸周囲に対す
    る回動を阻止する突当部を設けたことを特徴とする振動
    工具のハンドル防振装置。
