Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.平均厚さ0.5ミクロン以下の半結晶質層と、平均厚さ0.5ミクロン以 下の第2のポリマーの層とを含む光学積層体を含有する多層フィルムであって、 前記光学積層体は、延伸される前の寸法の少なくとも2倍になるまで少なくと も1つの方向において延伸されており、前記光学積層体は、第1および第2の主 面を有し、前記フィルムは前記第1の主面に接着された第1の追加の層をさらに 含み、前記迫加の層は、機械特性によって選択された材料からなり、前記機械特 性は、前記光学積層体の前記層の機械特性とは異なる多層フィルム。 2.接着された第2の追加の層をさらに含む請求項1記載の多層フィルム。 3.第1および第2のポリマーの層を有する多層光学フィルムであって、前記 第1および第2のポリマーは組成が異なり、前記各層の厚さは0.5ミクロン以 下であり、前記光学積層体は第1および第2の主面を有し、前記第1の主面は第 1の引き裂き抵抗層に接着されている多層光学フィルム。 4.前記第2の主面は第2の引き裂き抵抗層に接着されている請求項3記載の 多層光学フィルム。 5.前記各引き裂き抵抗層は、前記光学積層体の厚さの5パーセントより厚い 厚さを有する請求項4記載の多層光学フィルム。 6.前記各引き裂き抵抗層は、前記光学積層体の厚さの5パーセントから60 パーセントの厚さを有する請求項5記載の多層光学フィルム。 7.前記各引き裂き抵抗層は、前記光学積層体の厚さの30パーセントから5 0パーセントの厚さを有する請求項6記載の多層光学フィルム。 8.前記引き裂き抵抗層は、前記第2のポリマーの組成物と実質的に同一の組 成を有する請求項5記載の多層光学フィルム。 9.前記第1のポリマーはポリエチレンナフタレートであり、前記第2のポリ マーはナフタレート単位とテレフタレート単位を含むコポリエステルである請求 項8記載の多層光学フィルム。 10.前記第1のポリマーは正の応力係数を有する請求項3記載の多層光学フ ィルム。 11.平均厚さ0.5ミクロン以下の半結晶質層と、平均厚さ0.5ミクロン 以下の第2のポリマーの層とを含む光学積層体を含有する多層フィルムであって 、 前記光学積層体は、延伸される前の寸法の少なくとも2倍になるまで少なくと も1つの方向において延伸されており、前記光学積層体は、第1および第2の主 面を有し、前記フィルムは前記第1の主面に接着された第1の追加の層をさらに 含み、前記追加の層は、化学特性によって選択された材料からなり、前記化学特 性は、前記光学積層体の前記層の化学特性とは異なる多層フィルム。 12.接着された第2の追加の層をさらに含む請求項11記載の多層フィルム 。 13.平均厚さ0.5ミクロン以下の半結晶質層と、平均厚さ0.5ミクロン 以下の第2のポリマーの層とを含む光学積層体を含有する多層フィルムであって 、 前記光学積層体は、延伸される前の寸法の少なくとも2倍になる まで少なくとも1つの方向において延伸されており、前記光学積層体は、第1お よび第2の主面を有し、前記フィルムは前記第1の主面に接着された第1の追加 の層をさらに含み、前記追加の層は、光学特性によって選択された材料からなり 、前記光学特性は、前記光学積層体の前記層の光学特性とは異なる多層フィルム 。 14.接着された第2の追加の層をさらに含む請求項13記載の多層フィルム 。
