Claims (15)
- 側方送達可能な人工心臓弁であって、前記人工弁が、
弁輪上領域、弁輪下領域、及びそれらの間に結合された経弁輪領域を有する外側フレームと、
前記外側フレームに取り付けられたフロー制御コンポーネントであって、前記フロー制御コンポーネントの少なくとも一部が前記経弁輪領域に配置されるようにされ、前記人工弁が送達カテーテルを介した側方送達のための送達構成を有し、前記人工弁が前記送達カテーテルから解放されるときに拡張可能である、前記フロー制御コンポーネントと、を含み、
前記外側フレームの前記弁輪上領域が、送達システムの一部に取り外し可能に係合するように構成されたスプラインを形成し、前記スプラインが、前記送達システムの前記一部に含まれるアクチュエータを受け入れるように構成されたウェイポイントを画定し、
前記外側フレームの前記弁輪下領域が、遠位固定要素及び近位固定要素を形成し、前記近位固定要素が、前記アクチュエータに取り外し可能に係合し、前記アクチュエータの作動に応答して、第1の位置と第2の位置との間で移動するように構成され、
前記弁輪下領域が、前記人工弁が自己心臓弁の弁輪に着座すると第1の構成に配置され、前記人工弁が前記自己心臓弁の前記弁輪に着座した後、第2の構成に移行するように構成され、
前記近位固定要素を前記第1の位置と前記第2の位置との間で移動させると、前記弁輪下領域が前記第1の構成と前記第2の構成との間で移行する、前記人工弁。 - 前記第1の構成における前記弁輪下領域の周囲長が、前記第2の構成における前記弁輪下領域の周囲長よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記近位固定要素が前記第1の位置にあるときの前記弁輪下領域の周囲長が、前記近位固定要素が前記第2の位置にあるときの前記弁輪下領域の周囲長よりも小さい、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記近位固定要素が、それぞれ、前記第1の構成、前記第2の構成、及び第3の構成の間で前記弁輪下領域を移行させるために、前記第1の位置、前記第2の位置、及び第3の位置の間で移動可能であり、前記人工弁が前記送達構成にあるとき、前記弁輪下領域が前記第3の構成にある、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記アクチュエータの前記作動により、前記近位固定要素が前記第1の位置と、前記第2の位置と、(i)前記経弁輪領域の前壁の近位部分と、(ii)前記スプラインに対する前記経弁輪領域の後壁の近位部分との間で移動する、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記前壁の前記近位部分及び前記後壁の前記近位部分が、前記アクチュエータの前記作動に応答して、前記人工弁の長手方向軸に近づいたり遠ざかったりする、請求項5に記載の人工弁。
- 前記弁輪上領域の近位側と前記第2の位置にある前記近位固定要素との間の距離が、前記弁輪の近位側の弁輪組織の厚さよりも小さい、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記弁輪下領域は、前記弁輪下領域が前記第2の構成にあるときに、前記弁輪の近位側の自己組織との係合を可能にする少なくとも1つの突起を有する近位固定要素を形成する、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記人工弁が、第1の軸に沿って圧縮可能であり、前記第1の軸に直交する第2の軸に沿って折り畳み可能であり、前記人工弁が前記送達カテーテル内にあるときに前記送達カテーテルの管腔を通って延びる軸に対して前記第1の軸及び前記第2の軸が直交する前記送達構成に前記人工弁を配置する、請求項1に記載の人工弁。
- 前記経弁輪領域が前記弁輪上領域を前記弁輪下領域に結合し、前記経弁輪領域が、前記第1の軸の方向に配向された複数のセルを形成するワイヤフレームを含む、請求項9に記載の人工弁。
- 前記経弁輪領域の前記ワイヤフレームが、第1の半切れ及び前記第1の半切れに結合した第2の半切れを有し、それらの間に近位ヒンジ及び遠位ヒンジを形成し、前記第1の軸及び前記第2の軸が前記近位ヒンジ及び前記遠位ヒンジを通って延びる第3の軸に直交する、請求項10に記載の人工弁。

- 前記弁輪下領域が近位固定要素を形成し、前記近位固定要素は、前記第1の構成と前記第2の構成との間で前記弁輪下領域を移行するように移動可能であり、前記ノッチが、前記人工弁の近位側の可撓性を増大させて、前記近位固定要素が前記経弁輪領域の前記ワイヤフレームに対して移動できるようにする、請求項13に記載の人工弁。
