Claims (38)
- 弁体第1端部と、弁体第2端部と、前記弁体第1端部と前記弁体第2端部の間に縦軸に沿って伸びる通路とを有する弁体であって、カテーテルを介して供給するための前記縦軸の周りに潰せる弁体と、
前記通路を通る一方向の血流を遮断するための、前記弁体に固定されかつ前記通路を横切る一つ以上の可撓性弁要素と、
カテーテルを介して供給するための潰せる固定装置と、
前記弁体と前記固定装置に固定され、それらの間に伸びる固定線と
を備える経皮的人工心臓弁。 - 前記固定装置が、細長い弾性固定フレーム要素で形成された潰せる固定フレームを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記固定フレームが、カテーテル内に配置するために安定な実質的に扁平な円板状形状から不安定な細長い形状に潰せることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレーム要素がそれぞれ超弾性形状記憶材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体が、細長い弾性弁体要素で形成された潰せる弁体フレームを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレーム要素がそれぞれ超弾性形状記憶材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体が前記弁体第1端部に向かって先細りしていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記固定線が前記弁体第1端部に固定されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレームが少なくとも三つの弁体サブフレーム部材を備え、前記弁体サブフレーム部材のそれぞれが概ねデルトイドの形を有し、前記デルトイドのそれぞれは前記弁体第1及び第2端部にある鋭角頂点と、前記弁体第1端部と第2端部の間に配置された鈍角頂点とを有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体サブフレーム部材のそれぞれが概ね菱形形状を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 隣接する前記弁体サブフレーム部材が個々の前記鈍角頂点で結合されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記サブフレーム部材のそれぞれがさらに前記鈍角頂点の間に伸びる潰せる対角要素を備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記一つ以上の弁要素が前記対角要素に固定されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレームが概ね潰せる円筒リングの形をしていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁がさらに、使用時に生体弁開口壁に係合する前記弁体の周辺の周りに間隔を空けた複数の突起部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁がさらに、使用時に前記弁体と生体弁開口壁の間で前記一方向の血流を遮断するための前記弁体の周辺の周りに広がる可撓性スカートを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記可撓性スカートが生物学的材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁が心膜材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁が人工僧帽弁であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁。
- カテーテル第1端部とカテーテル第2端部を有するカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルに配置された請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁であって、前記弁体が潰された状態にありかつ前記カテーテル第1端部に向かって配置され、前記固定装置が潰された状態にありかつ前記弁体と前記カテーテル第2端部の間に配置されるような人工心臓弁と、
ガイド要素第1端部とガイド要素第2端部を有する細長いガイド要素であって、前記ガイド要素第1端部が前記固定装置に着脱自在に取り付けられ、前記ガイド要素第2端部が前記カテーテル第2端部を越えて伸びるような細長いガイド要素と
を備える経皮的心臓弁置換システム。 - 弁体第1端部と、弁体第2端部と、前記弁体第1端部と前記弁体第2端部の間に縦軸に沿って伸びる通路とを有する弁体であって、前記弁がカテーテルを介して供給するための前記縦軸の周りに潰せるような弁体と、
前記通路を通る一方向の血流を遮断するための、前記弁体に固定されかつ前記通路を横切る一つ以上の可撓性弁要素と
を備える経皮的人工心臓弁であって、
前記弁体が前記弁体第1端部に向かって先細りしており、前記弁体第1端部が、置換されるべき心臓弁に応じた弁輪を通過するような大きさをしており、前記弁体第2端部が前記弁開口を通過しないような大きさをしている
ことを特徴とする経皮的人工心臓弁。 - 前記弁体が細長い弾性弁体要素で形成された潰せる弁体フレームを備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレーム要素がそれぞれ超弾性形状記憶材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体フレームが少なくとも三つの弁体サブフレーム部材を備え、前記弁体サブフレーム部材のそれぞれが概ねデルトイド形状を有し、前記デルトイドのそれぞれが前記弁体第1及び第2端部にある鋭角頂点と、前記弁体第1端部と第2端部の間に配置された鈍角頂点とを有することを特徴とする請求項22に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記弁体サブフレーム部材のそれぞれが概ね菱形形状を有することを特徴とする請求項24に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 隣接する前記弁体サブフレーム部材が個々の前記鈍角頂点において結合されることを特徴とする請求項24に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記サブフレーム部材のそれぞれがさらに前記鈍角頂点の間に伸びる潰せる対角要素を備えることを特徴とする請求項26に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記一つ以上の弁要素が前記対角要素に固定されることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁が人工僧帽弁であることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の人工心臓弁。
- カテーテル第1端部とカテーテル第2端部を有するカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルに配置された請求項21に記載の人工心臓弁であって、前記弁体が潰された状態にありかつ前記カテーテル第1端部に向かって配置されるような人工心臓弁と、
ガイド要素第1端部とガイド要素第2端部を有する細長いガイド要素であって、前記ガイド要素第1端部が前記人工心臓弁に着脱自在に取り付けられ、前記ガイド要素第2端部が前記カテーテル第2端部を越えて伸びるような細長いガイド要素と
を備える経皮的心臓弁置換システム。 - 弁体第1端部と、弁体第2端部と、前記弁体第1端部と前記弁体第2端部の間に縦軸に沿って伸びる通路とを有する弁体であって、前記弁体がカテーテルを介して供給するための前記縦軸の周りに潰せるような弁体と、
前記通路を通る一方向の血流を遮断するための、前記弁体に固定されかつ前記通路を横切る一つ以上の可撓性弁要素と、
使用時に前記弁体と生体弁開口壁の間で前記一方向の血流を遮断するための前記弁体の周辺の周りに広がる可撓性スカートと
を備える経皮的人工心臓弁。 - 前記可撓性スカートが生物学的材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項31に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記可撓性スカートが心膜材料で形成されることを特徴とする請求項32に記載の人工心臓弁。
- 前記人工心臓弁が人工僧帽弁であることを特徴とする請求項31に記載の人工心臓弁。
- カテーテル第1端部とカテーテル第2端部を有するカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルに配置された請求項31に記載の人工心臓弁であって、前記弁体が潰された状態にありかつ前記カテーテル第1端部に向かって配置されるような人工心臓弁と、
ガイド要素第1端部とガイド要素第2端部を有する細長いガイド要素であって、前記ガイド要素第1端部が前記人工心臓弁に着脱自在に取り付けられ、前記ガイド要素第2端部が前記カテーテル第2端部を越えて伸びるような細長いガイド要素と
を備える経皮的心臓弁置換システム。 - 治療されるべき患者の静脈系を通ってカテーテルの第1端部を患者の心臓の右心房の中に送るステップと、
心臓の心房間隔壁に細孔を作るステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を、前記細孔を通って左心房の中に、また生体僧帽弁を通って心臓の左心室の中に送るステップと、
前記弁体と前記固定装置を潰された状態にして請求項1に記載の人工心臓弁を前記カテーテル内に配置するステップであって、前記弁体が前記固定装置と前記カテーテル第1端部の間に配置されるステップと、
前記弁体が前記カテーテル第1端部から放出され、それにより前記弁体を前記潰された状態から拡張するまで前記人工心臓弁を前記カテーテルを通って送るステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を僧帽弁を通って左心房の中に引くステップと、
前記弁体を左心房に向かって引き、前記弁体を生体僧帽弁の開口内に配置するステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を前記細孔を通って右心房の中に引くステップと、
前記固定装置が前記カテーテル第1端部から放出され、それにより前記固定装置を前記潰された状態から拡張するまで前記固定装置を前記カテーテル通って送るステップと、
前記固定装置を前記細孔の周りの前記心房間隔壁に係合するステップと、
前記カテーテルを患者から引くステップと
を含む機能不全を起こした、あるいは起こしつつある僧帽弁を治療する方法。 - 治療されるべき患者の静脈系を通ってカテーテルの第1端部を患者の心臓の右心房の中に送るステップと、

前記カテーテル第1端部を、前記細孔を通って左心房の中に、また生体僧帽弁を通って心臓の左心室の中に送るステップと、
前記弁体を潰された状態にして請求項21に記載の人工心臓弁を前記カテーテル内に配置するステップであって、前記弁体第2端部が前記弁体第1端部と前記カテーテル第1端部の間に配置されるステップと、
前記弁体が前記カテーテル第1端部から放出され、それにより前記弁体を前記潰された状態から拡張するまで前記人工心臓弁を前記カテーテルを通って送るステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を僧帽弁を通って左心房の中に引くステップと、
前記弁体を左心房に向かって引き、前記弁体を生体僧帽弁の開口内に楔留めするステップと、
前記カテーテルを患者から引くステップと
を含む機能不全を起こした、あるいは起こしつつある僧帽弁を治療する方法。 - 治療されるべき患者の静脈系を通ってカテーテルの第1端部を患者の心臓の右心房の中に送るステップと、
心臓の心房間隔壁に細孔を作るステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を、前記細孔を通って左心房の中に、また生体僧帽弁を通って心臓の左心室の中に送るステップと、
前記弁体を潰された状態にして請求項31に記載の人工心臓弁を前記カテーテル内に配置するステップと、
前記弁体が前記カテーテル第1端部から放出され、それにより前記弁体を前記潰された状態から拡張するまで前記人工心臓弁を前記カテーテルを通って送るステップと、
前記カテーテル第1端部を僧帽弁を通って左心房の中に引くステップと、
前記弁体を左心房に向かって引き、前記スカートを左心室に向かって配置して前記弁体を生体僧帽弁の開口内に配置するステップと、
前記カテーテルを患者から引くステップと
を含む機能不全を起こした、あるいは起こしつつある僧帽弁を治療する方法。
