Description
を金属箔、金属網などからなる集電体に圧着して負極としてもよい。
以下に示すようにして、正極の作製と非水電解液の調製を行い、それらと負極などを用いて非水電解液電池を作製した。
1,3−プロパンスルトンおよび無水フタル酸の一方または両方の添加量を、表1に示すように変化させた以外は、参考例1と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
表2に示すように、1,3−プロパンスルトンおよび無水フタル酸を添加しなかった以外は、参考例1と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
1,3−プロパンスルトンおよび無水フタル酸の添加量を、表2に示すように、本発明の範囲外とした以外は、参考例1と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
電池を120℃の環境下で350時間貯蔵した後、−40℃の環境下で2mAの電流値で放電させ、放電開始から5秒後のCCV(閉路電圧)を測定した。その結果を表3および表4に示す。
電池を120℃の環境下で350時間貯蔵し、次いで20℃まで放冷させてから電池の厚さを測定し、あらかじめ貯蔵前に測定しておいた電池の厚さを差し引いた値を電池の膨れとした。その結果を表3および表4に示す。
まず、高温での貯蔵前の電池について、1kΩの放電抵抗を接続して、20℃の環境下で終止電圧2.0Vまで放電させたときの放電容量を測定した。次いで、参考例1〜3および比較例1〜9の電池であって、上記貯蔵前の放電容量の測定に使用したものとは別の電池を120℃で350時間貯蔵した後、20℃まで放冷させ、前記貯蔵前と同様の条件で放電を行って放電容量を測定し、その貯蔵後の放電容量の貯蔵前の放電容量に対する割合を容量保持率として求めた。その結果を表3および表4に示す。
非水電解液として、プロピレンカーボネートと1,2−ジメトキシエタンとの体積比1:1の混合溶媒に、LiPF6を0.05mol/lとLiClO4を0.5mol/l溶解させ、さらに1,3−プロパンスルトンおよび無水フタル酸をそれぞれ0.5質量%添加したものを用いた以外は、参考例1と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
表5に示すように、添加剤の添加量および電解質の種類と濃度を変更した以外は、実施例14と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
表5に示すように、電解質としてLiClO4を単独で用い、リチウム塩Aを含有させなかった以外は、実施例17と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
表5に示すように、環状スルトン誘導体および酸無水物を添加しなかった以外は、実施例16と同様に非水電解液電池を作製した。
放電深度が50%および80%となるまで電池を放電させ、放電後にそれぞれの電池を120℃の環境下で350時間貯蔵し、次いで20℃まで放冷させてから電池の厚さを測定し、あらかじめ貯蔵前に測定しておいた電池の厚さを差し引いた値を電池の膨れとした。その結果を表6に示す。
表7に示すように、プロピレンカーボネートとジエトキシエタンとの体積比1:1の混合溶媒にLiClO4を0.5mol/l溶解させ、さらに1,3−プロパンスルトンを2質量%添加した非水電解液を用い、テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロアルコキシエチレン共重合体製のパッキングを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。なお、表7には、パッキングの材質についても示すが、スペース上の関係で、上記テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロアルコキシエチレン共重合体をPFAで示す。
表7に示すように、ジエトキシエタンに代えてジグライムを用いた以外は、参考例19と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。
表7に示すように、ジエトキシエタンに代えてジメトキシエタンを用いた以外は、参考例19と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。
表7に示すように、ポリプロピレン製のパッキングを用いた以外は、参考例19と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。なお、表7には、パッキングの材質についても示すが、スペース上の関係で、上記ポリプロピレンをPPで示す。
表7に示すように、1,3−プロパンスルトンを添加しなかった以外は、参考例19と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。
表7に示すように、1,3−プロパンスルトンの添加量を10質量%とした以外は、参考例19と同様にして非水電解液電池を作製した。
電池を120℃の環境下で200時間貯蔵した後、室温下で電池に200Ωの放電抵抗を接続して放電させ、放電開始から5秒後のCCV(閉路電圧)を測定した。その結果を表8に示す。
電池を120℃の環境下で200時間貯蔵し、次いで20℃まで放冷させてから電池の厚さを測定し、あらかじめ貯蔵前に測定しておいた電池の厚さを差し引いた値の電池の膨れとした。その結果を表8に示す。
まず、高温での貯蔵前の電池について、3.9Ωの放電抵抗を接続して、20℃の環境下で終止電圧2.0Vまで放電させたときの放電容量を測定した。次いで、同種の電池であって上記貯蔵前の放電容量の測定に使用したものとは別の電池を120℃で200時間貯蔵した後、20℃まで放冷させ、前記貯蔵前と同様の条件で放電を行って放電容量を測定し、貯蔵前の放電容量に対する割合を容量保持率として求めた。その結果を表8に示す。

Claims (13)
- 非水電解液電池に用いられる非水電解液であって、
電解質として、LiBF4、LiPF6、LiAsF6およびLiSbF6よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のリチウム塩からなるリチウム塩Aと、
LiClO 4 、LiCF 3 SO 3 、LiC 4 F 9 SO 3 、LiN(CF 3 SO 2 ) 2 およびLiN(C 2 F 5 SO 2 ) 2 よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のリチウム塩からなるリチウム塩Bとを含有し、前記リチウム塩Aの全電解質中での割合が2モル%以上であり、かつ環状スルトン誘導体および酸無水物より選ばれる少なくとも1種を添加したことを特徴とする非水電解液。 - リチウム塩Aの全電解質中での割合が、20モル%以下である請求項1に記載の非水電解液。
- 環状スルトン誘導体の添加量が、0.5〜3質量%である請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液。
- 酸無水物の添加量が、0.5〜3質量%である請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液。
- 環状スルトン誘導体および酸無水物の添加量が、それぞれ0.5〜3質量%である請求項1または2に記載の非水電解液。
- 環状スルトン誘導体および酸無水物の添加量が、両者の合計で1.7〜3.5質量%である請求項5に記載の非水電解液。
- 環状スルトン誘導体が、1,3−プロパンスルトンまたは1,4−ブタンスルトンのうちの少なくとも1種である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の非水電解液。
- 溶媒として、沸点が120℃以上のエーテルを含有する請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の非水電解液。
- 正極、負極、セパレータおよび請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の非水電解液を用いたことを特徴とする非水電解液電池。
- 正極活物質として、マンガン含有酸化物を用いたことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の非水電解液電池。
- 負極活物質として、リチウムまたはリチウム合金を用いた請求項9または10に記載の非水電解液電池。
- 耐熱樹脂製のパッキングまたはガラスハーメチックシールにより封口がなされている請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載の非水電解液電池。
- 耐熱樹脂製のパッキングが、テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロアルコキシエチレン共重合体、ポリフェニレンサルファイドまたはポリエーテルエーテルケトンのいずれかで形成されている請求項12に記載の非水電解液電池。
