Claims (20)
- 電子装置内に複数のアラート装置を設ける段階と、
前記電子装置のセンサを使用して前記電子装置の動作環境を決定する段階と、
前記複数のアラート装置のうち、前記決定された動作環境に対応する少なくとも1つのアラート装置を作動する段階と、
を備えた方法。 - 動作環境を決定する前記段階は、前記電子装置の複数のセンサからの読みを合成することを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のアラート装置のうち、前記動作環境に適した少なくとも1つのアラート装置は、モータである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記センサは、少なくとも1つの加速度計を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの加速度計からの測定値に応答して前記モータの制御信号を変更する段階を更に備えた、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記モータは、前記電子装置の動作環境に対応するターゲット周波数で前記電子装置を振動させる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 触覚装置の少なくとも1つの動作パラメータを自律的に調整する電子装置において、
触覚装置と、
前記触覚装置の動作中に前記触覚装置を監視するように構成されたセンサと、
フィードバックループであって、
前記センサに結合されたフィルタ、及び
前記フィルタに結合されたエラー検出器、
を含み、前記エラー検出器は、測定信号をターゲット信号と比較してエラー信号を発生するように構成されたものであるフィードバックループと、
前記エラー信号を受信しそして前記エラー信号に応答して制御信号を調整して、望ましい動作パラメータを達成するように構成されたコントローラと、
を備えた電子装置。 - 前記センサは、加速度計である、請求項7に記載の電子装置。
- 前記加速度計からの値を前記電子装置により繰り返し使用して、前記制御信号を調整する、請求項8に記載の電子装置。
- 前記制御信号は、パルス幅変調信号である、請求項9に記載の電子装置。
- 前記電子装置は、電話であり、そして前記制御信号の調整は、前記電話の整数個のリング内で行われる、請求項7に記載の電子装置。
- 前記触覚装置は、振動装置である、請求項7に記載の電子装置。
- 電子装置のユーザアラートを調整する方法において、
触覚装置へ送られる制御信号を過剰駆動することにより触覚装置の動作を開始する段階と、
触覚装置のモータに能動的にブレーキを掛けて触覚装置の動作を停止する段階と、
を備えた方法。 - 制御信号を過剰駆動する前記段階は、パルス幅変調信号のデューティサイクルを増加することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- モータに能動的にブレーキを掛ける前記段階は、モータのリードを短絡して誘導性ブレーキ作用を発生することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- モータに能動的にブレーキを掛ける前記段階は、モータのリードに逆極性を付与することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 触覚装置の動作に関連した周波数を測定する段階と、
前記測定された周波数をターゲット周波数と比較する段階と、
触覚装置を前記ターゲット周波数に駆動するように前記制御信号を変更する段階と、
を更に備えた請求項13に記載の方法。 - 周波数を測定する前記段階は、
触覚装置の振動信号を分離し、
前記振動信号の複数のピークを見出し、
前記複数のピークから振動信号の周期を決定する、
ことを含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記触覚装置は、振動モータを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記制御信号は、パルス幅変調信号を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
