Abstract
Una composición que comprende de alrededor de 1 a alrededor de 40 por ciento en peso de dióxido de carbono (CO2), y de alrededor de 60 a alrededor de 99 por ciento en peso de uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I, XCFzR3-z (I), en la que X es un radical alquilo de C2 o C3 insaturado, sustituido o no sustituido, cada R es independientemente Cl, F, Br, I o H, y z es 1 a 3.
Claims (46)
1. Una composición que comprende de alrededor de
1 a alrededor de 40 por ciento en peso de dióxido de carbono
(CO_{2}), y de alrededor de 60 a alrededor de 99 por ciento en
peso de uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I, XCFzR3-z
(I), en la que X es un radical alquilo de C_{2} o C_{3}
insaturado, sustituido o no sustituido, cada R es independientemente
Cl, F, Br, I o H, y z es 1 a 3.
2. La composición de la reivindicación 1, en la
que la composición comprende de alrededor de 5 a alrededor de 30 por
ciento en peso de dióxido de carbono (CO_{2}), y de alrededor de
70 a alrededor de 95 por ciento en peso de uno o más compuestos de
Fórmula I.
3. La composición de la reivindicación 1 o
reivindicación 2, en la que dicho uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I
comprende tetrafluoropropeno (HFO-1234).
4. La composición de cualquier reivindicación
anterior, en la que dicho uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I
comprende
trans-1,1,1,3-tetrafluoropropeno
(HFO-1234ze).
5. La composición de la reivindicación 1 o
reivindicación 2, en la que dicho uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I
comprende 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropeno
(HFO-1234yf).
6. La composición de la reivindicación 1 o
reivindicación 2, en la que X es un radical alquilo de C3
insaturado, sustituido o no sustituido.
7. Una composición según cualquier
reivindicación anterior, en la que dicha composición tiene una
presión de vapor de al menos alrededor de 30 psia a 35ºF.
8. Una composición según cualquier
reivindicación anterior, que tiene un potencial de calentamiento
global (GWP) no mayor que alrededor de 1000, preferiblemente no
mayor que 500, y más preferiblemente no mayor que 150.
9. La composición de la reivindicación 1, en la
que dicha composición no es inflamable.
10. La composición de la reivindicación 1 o
reivindicación 2, y que comprende además al menos un adyuvante
seleccionado del grupo que consiste en lubricantes,
compatibilizantes, tensioactivos, supresores de llama, agentes
solubilizantes, agentes dispersantes, estabilizantes de las celdas,
cosméticos, agentes para dar brillo, medicamentos, limpiadores,
pirorretardantes, colorantes, esterilizantes químicos,
estabilizantes, polioles, componentes de premezclas de polioles, y
combinaciones de dos o más de estos.
11. Una composición de transferencia de calor
que comprende la composición de la reivindicación 1, y que comprende
además al menos un lubricante.
12. La composición de transferencia de calor de
la reivindicación 11, en la que dicho lubricante se selecciona del
grupo que consiste en aceite mineral, aceite de silicona,
polialquilbencenos (PAB), ésteres de polioles (POE),
polialquilenglicoles (PAG), ésteres de polialquilenglicoles (ésteres
de PAG), éteres polivinílicos (PVE),
poli(alfa-olefinas) (PAO), y combinaciones de
éstos.
13. La composición de transferencia de calor de
la reivindicación 11, en la que dicho lubricante se selecciona del
grupo que consiste en polialquilenglicoles (PAG), y ésteres de
polialquilenglicoles (ésteres de PAG).
14. La composición de transferencia de calor de
la reivindicación 11, que comprende además uno o más supresores de
llama.
15. Un refrigerante que comprende la composición
de transferencia de calor de la reivindicación 11.
16. Un sistema de refrigeración que comprende
una composición de transferencia de calor de la reivindicación
11.
17. Un sistema de refrigeración de la
reivindicación 16, seleccionado del grupo que consiste en sistemas
de aire acondicionado para automoción, sistemas de aire
acondicionado para residencias, sistemas de aire acondicionado para
comercios, sistemas refrigeradores para residencias, sistemas
congeladores para residencias, sistemas refrigeradores para
comercios, sistemas congeladores para comercios, sistemas para
enfriar el aire acondicionado, sistemas de refrigeración
enfriadores, sistemas de bomba de calor, y combinaciones de dos o
más de estos.
18. Un agente de soplado que comprende una
composición según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 6.
19. Un agente de soplado de la reivindicación
18, en el que dicho compuesto de Fórmula I y dicho CO_{2}
comprenden juntos al menos alrededor de 5%, preferiblemente al menos
alrededor de 15%, más preferiblemente al menos alrededor de 50% en
peso del agente de soplado.
20. Un agente de soplado que consiste
esencialmente en uno o más compuestos de Fórmula I y CO_{2}.
21. Una composición espumable que comprende el
agente de soplado de la reivindicación 18.
22. La composición espumable de la
reivindicación 21, en la que dicha composición comprende uno o más
componentes capaces de formar espuma, seleccionada del grupo que
consiste en espumas termoplásticas, espumas de poliestireno, espumas
de polietileno, espumas de polietileno de baja densidad, espumas
termoplásticas extruidas, espumas de poliuretano, espumas de
poliisocianurato y espumas fenólicas.
23. La composición espumable de la
reivindicación 22, en la que el uno o más componentes capaces de
formar espuma se seleccionan del grupo que consiste en espumas
termoplásticas y espumas de poliestireno.
24. Una espuma formada a partir de la
composición espumable de cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 21 a
23.
25. Una espuma de celda cerrada que comprende la

26. Un método para sustituir un refrigerante
existente contenido en un sistema refrigerante, que comprende
eliminar al menos una porción de dicho refrigerante existente de
dicho sistema, y sustituir al menos una porción de dicho
refrigerante existente introduciendo en dicho sistema una
composición refrigerante que comprende una composición según
cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 7.
27. El método de la reivindicación 26, en el que
dicho refrigerante existente se selecciona del grupo que consiste en
HFC-134a, R-12,
R-404A, R-500,
HFC-152a, HFC-125,
HFC-143a, HFC-32,
HCFC-22, R-407C,
R-507A y R-410A, y combinaciones de
estos.
28. El método de la reivindicación 26, en el que
dicho sistema refrigerante existente comprende al menos un primer
compresor que tiene un primer desplazamiento y que comprende además
la etapa de retirar dicho primer compresor del sistema e insertar en
dicho sistema al menos un segundo compresor que tiene un
desplazamiento mayor que dicho primer compresor.
29. El método de la reivindicación 26, en el que
dicho sistema refrigerante existente se selecciona del grupo que
consiste en sistemas de aire acondicionado para automoción, sistemas
de aire acondicionado para residencias, sistemas de aire
acondicionado para comercios, sistemas refrigeradores para
residencias, sistemas congeladores para residencias, sistemas
refrigeradores para comercios, sistemas congeladores para comercios,
sistemas para enfriar el aire acondicionado, sistemas de
refrigeración enfriadores, sistemas de bomba de calor, y
combinaciones de dos o más de estos.
30. El método de la reivindicación 26, en el que
la capacidad del sistema después de dicha etapa de sustitución es al
menos alrededor de 90% de la capacidad del sistema antes de dicha
etapa de retirada.
31. El método de la reivindicación 26, en el que
dicha composición refrigerante tiene un potencial de calentamiento
global (GWP) no mayor que 1000.
32. Un método según cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 26 a 31, en el que el método es un método de
remodelación, y/o la etapa de sustitución es una sustitución
inmediata sin necesidad de remodelaciones.
33. Una composición pulverizable que comprende
un material a pulverizar y un propelente que comprende una
composición según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 6.
34. Una composición pulverizable según la
reivindicación 33, que es un limpiador de contacto, un
espolvoreador, o un lubricante, o un aerosol para un consumidor
seleccionado de un producto para el cuidado personal, un producto
doméstico y un producto para automoción.
35. La composición pulverizable de la
reivindicación 33, en forma de un aerosol.
36. La composición pulverizable de la
reivindicación 35, en la que el material a pulverizar es un
limpiador de pulverización, un lubricante o un aerosol médico para
suministrar medicamentos a los pulmones o membranas mucosales.
37. La composición pulverizable de la
reivindicación 35, en la que dicho material a pulverizar se
selecciona del grupo que consiste en cosméticos, disolvente
limpiador, lubricantes y materiales médicos.
38. Un método para esterilizar un artículo, que
comprende poner en contacto dicho artículo con una composición que
comprende una composición según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1
a 4.
39. Un método para enfriar un artículo, que
comprende condensar una composición según cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 7, y después evaporar dicha composición en la
vecindad del artículo a enfriar.
40. Un método para calentar un artículo, que
comprende condensar una composición según cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 7 en la vecindad del artículo a calentar, y
después evaporar dicha composición refrigerante.
41. La composición según cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 7 en forma de un fluido de transferencia de
calor que tiene una capacidad de refrigeración que se asemeja
sustancialmente a la de R-22,
R-407C, R-410A,
R-404A, o R-507A.
42. Un procedimiento para cambiar el contenido
de calor de un cuerpo, que comprende proporcionar la composición
según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 7, y transferir calor
entre dicha composición y dicho cuerpo.
43. Un sistema de transferencia de calor
mejorado, que comprende al menos un fluido de transferencia de calor
y una o más vasijas para evaporar y condensar el fluido de
transferencia de calor, caracterizándose la mejora por dicho al
menos un fluido de transferencia de calor que es una composición
según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 8 que es un fluido no
inflamable que consiste esencialmente en uno o más compuestos de
Fórmula I XCFzR3-z (I), en la que X es un radical
alquilo de C_{2} o C_{3} insaturado, sustituido o no sustituido,
cada R es independientemente Cl, F, Br, I o H, y z es 1 a 3, y
dióxido de carbono (CO_{2}).
44. Una composición pulverizable, que comprende
un material a pulverizar y un propelente que comprende una
composición de tipo azeótropo según cualquiera de las
reivindicaciones 1 a 4 o la reivindicación 6.
45. Una composición pulverizable según la
reivindicación 41, en la que la composición pulverizable es un
aerosol.
46. Uso de una composición según cualquiera de
las reivindicaciones 1 a 10 como un disolvente, un agente de
deposición, un vehículo o parte de un sistema de suministro para
formulaciones de sabor o una formulación de fragancia, un agente de
extrae fragancias, o un agente limpiador.
