Abstract

背景技术
近年来，对详细信息例如气象信息的需求急剧增加。由于个人计算机和通信设备的收集、处理、传送和接收数据的能力，增加了个人计算机和通信设备对更多信息的需求。结果，大量地需求专用信息和增值服务。最终用户不再希望收集、处理和评价原始数据。例如，这种情况没有什么地方比跨北美的气象服务更为明显的了。
几年前，无线电和电视广播公司认识到来自他们的听众对气象信息日益增长的需求，因此增加了空中气象片段的数量来作为提高市场排名的手段。今天，对气象信息中特定内容的需求已经超出广播公司满足这种需求的能力。事实上，商业和个人活动的每个方面都持续受到好或坏天气的影响。

发明内容
本发明提供一种传递个性化信息的交互式通报系统和方法。更具体地，本发明涉及一种用于向远程通信器设备选择性地传送个性化输出信号的广播网络。该广播网络包括用户输入数据库、通信器位置数据库、分析单元和通信网络。
用户输入数据库包含用户定义参数并且每个用户定义参数理想地包括空间范围标识符和用户简档。在每个用户定义参数中的用户简档至少标识和特定用户相关的通信器设备。通信器位置数据库包含指示通信器设备空间位置的实时数据。在本发明的一个优选变型中，通信器位置数据库通过通信器设备被自动地和/或连续地更新。
信息数据库包含数据，如至少针对包含在通信器位置数据库中的空间位置的实时气象数据。术语“数据”描述了多种产品，包括但不限于气象事件的过去和当前状况、文字产品、图形化产品等等。分析单元接收来自信息数据库的实时数据，并自动地和持续地将包括在用户定义参数中的空间范围标识符和包括在通信器位置数据库中的相应通信器设备的空间位置与实时数据比较，并且基于用户的需求或者甚至持续产生个性化的输出信号，如针对用户定义参数的空间范围标识符所标识的空间范围内的气象信息。当通信器位置数据库定义了新的位置时，信息数据库自动实时更新。

信号路径22、24、26、28、30和32可以是用于实现本发明的各种软件和/或硬件之间的逻辑和/或物理链路。应当理解，为了清楚地阐明在本发明的单个组件之间通信的信息和逻辑这一唯一目的，在这里分别显示和描述信号路径22、24、26、28、30和32中的每一个。在工作中，这些信号路径可以不是分离的信号路径，而是单个信号路径。另外，各种信息不一定必须以图1所示的方式在本发明的组件之间流动。例如，虽然图1阐明了用户标识符码通过信号路径30直接从用户输入数据库14传送到通信网络20，但是用户标识符码也可以通过信号路径24传送给气象分析单元12，然后通过信号路径32传送给通信网络20。

一旦用户定义参数被输入到用户输入数据库14中，为了目标营销的目的，用户定义参数可以连同气象内容标识符一起由气象分析单元12分析。可以向多个销售商36提供通过多个信号路径38a、38b和38c访问广播网络10的气象分析单元12的权利。销售商36可以独立地将搜索信息输入到气象分析单元12中，以便编辑对销售商36有用的信息数据集。
例如，做销售旋转式清雪机生意的特定销售商36a可以将气象内容标识符和时间标识符输入到气象分析单元12中，以便请求预期在下周遭受至少10英寸雪的美国所有空间位置的列表。气象分析单元12于是将基于至少一个气象内容标识符、时间标识符以及存储在气象信息数据库21中的实时气象数据来编辑预期在下周遭受至少10英寸雪的美国所有空间位置的数据集。该数据集然后被输出到销售商36a。基于该数据集，销售商36a可以向该数据集中所标识的区域发送广告或额外的旋转式清雪机。
作为另一个实例，做销售旋转式清雪机生意的特定销售商36a可以将气象内容标识符和时间标识符输入到气象分析单元12中，以便请求标识居住在预期在下周遭受至少10英寸雪的美国空间位置的用户的所有用户简档列表。气象分析单元12于是将基于至少一个气象内容标识符、时间标识符、用户简档以及存储在气象信息数据库21中的实时气象数据来编辑预期在下周遭受至少10英寸雪的美国所有空间位置的数据集。该数据集然后被输出到销售商36a。基于该数据集，销售商36a可以向在该数据集中所标识的用户发送广告。
可以想象，用户将订阅由广播网络10提供的服务。在这点上，广播网络10可以向用户收取服务费或可以不向用户收取服务费。另外，一些服务可以由广播网络10以一种费用提供，额外的服务可以以提高的费用提供。
为了节省处理能力，气象分析单元12可以周期性地确定哪些通信器设备11关闭或在范围之外。一旦其已被确定，气象分析单元12于是将不为被关闭或在范围之外的通信器设备11产生任何个性化气象输出信号。一旦通信器设备11中特定的一个被打开或进到范围内，气象分析单元12于是将尝试为这样的通信器设备11产生个性化气象输出信号。换句话说，为了节省处理能力，气象分析单元12可仅仅为活动的和范围内的通信器设备11产生个性化气象输出信号。
气象分析单元12可位于广播网络10上。可替选地，气象分析单元12可以和广播网络10的剩余部分分离开，并作为服务提供给广播网络10。
在一个优选实施例中，除了用户向用户输入数据库14提供用户定义参数外，用户输入数据库14被编程以提供多个预定义的用户简档，每个预定义的用户简档指向由用户指定的活动，可选地包括活动的数据和时间。该活动可以是商业、个人或娱乐需要。例如，商业需要可以是依赖于气象状况或受气象状况影响的执行期望活动的任何工作，例如，但不限于牧场主、承包商、农场主或油漆匠。个人需要可以是受气象状况正面或负面影响的任何活动，例如但不限于房主履行的义务，如刈草坪、粉刷房子、修剪树木等等。娱乐需要可以是依赖于气象状况的任何娱乐或其它室外活动，例如但不限于打高尔夫球、骑脚踏车、划船、徒步旅行、钓鱼或滑雪。
在这种情况下，用户选择或提供活动或种类给用户输入数据库14。用户输入数据库14获取关于这样的活动或种类的预定义的信息，并存储这样的预定义信息或者将这样的预定义信息与用户的用户简档链接。广播网络10和/或气象分析单元12于是如上文所述地工作，以提供气象警告或与包含在用户的用户简档中的信息有关的其它信息。
例如，用户可能计划在特定的周末上午9:00到下午4:00期间打高尔夫球。在这种情况下，该用户将针对“打高尔夫球”选择预定义的用户简档以及该计划活动的时间框架。计划活动的位置也可以输入用户输入数据库14，或者通信器设备11的位置可由通信器位置数据库16监视。包含在预定义用户简档中的信息被输入到用户输入数据库14中，并且如上所讨论的那样产生输出气象警告和预报。
预定义用户简档由广播网络10和/或气象分析单元12的构件来确定，其标识典型地适合和/或不利于每个指定活动的气象状况。因而，例如，针对“打高尔夫球”的预定义用户简档将包含数据，如刮风状况、闪电、雨、温度以及将正面或负面影响打高尔夫球活动的其它状况。预定义用户简档中的数据可由用户在活动选择之前或之后确定。
如果用户期望，则广播网络10和/或气象分析单元12可以承担产生适当大小的空间范围标识符的责任(如在利用用户简档或预定义用户简档的情况下)。可替选地，空间范围标识符可由气象事件的性质确定。在后面的案例中，广播网络10和/或气象分析单元12的构件将确定即将或可能发生的每个气象事件周围的“有关区域”，并且通信网络20然后将向可能接触到该有关区域的任何用户或通信器设备11发送通知。
例如，龙卷风可能是1/2英里宽，广播网络10和/或气象分析单元12将基于其经验、知识和/或能力来确定有关区域将是1.5英里宽和8英里长—向东北方向移动。如上面所讨论的，如果包含在用户输入数据库14中的任何用户的位置将接触到“有关区域”，则该用户将被通知。
本系统的其它用途
图3-4所示的是通报系统8a和8b，其可用来递送其它类型的信息或更精确地预测相关气象事件。除了以下描述的以外，通报系统8a和8b和气象通报系统8在结构和功能方面相似。出于清楚的目的，相似组件具有相同的数字前缀以及不同的字母后缀。
通报系统8a提供有广播网络10a。在一个实施例中，广播网络10a用来从例如雇主到雇员传送个性化的实时工作任务。广播网络10a提供有分析单元12a、通信器位置数据库16a以及通信器设备11a和11b。通信器设备11a在这里被称为“雇主通信器设备”，通信器设备11b在这里被称为“雇员通信器设备”。通信器位置数据库16a持续更新以包含表示通信器设备11a和11b的空间位置的实时数据。以与上面所描述相似的方式，分析单元12a在用户简档(由方框80a所示)、存储在通信器位置数据库16a中的动态位置、由方框82a所示的固定位置以及从雇主通信器设备11a之一输入分析单元12a中的工作任务之间进行比较。系统8a可被进一步描述为雇主系统40a和雇员系统42a，以描绘在系统8a中传送的信息类型。
例如，雇主使用雇主通信器设备11a将雇员信息和/或准则输入到雇员的用户简档中，例如作业位置、作业进度、技能要求、个性特点以及由方框84a所示的其它准则。而且，雇主将工作或作业任务准则如作业位置、作业进度、技能要求、个性品质以及其它准则输入到分析单元12a中。雇主把以上准则输入到雇主通信器设备11a之一，雇主通信器设备11a可以是例如计算机、个人数字助理(PDA)、蜂窝电话、组合蜂窝电话/PDA或可以向分析单元12a传送雇员信息和/或作业任务准则的任何其它设备。分析单元12a可以是例如计算机或web服务器。分析单元12a将雇员用户简档准则匹配与工作任务准则，以产生至少一个个性化工作任务的数据集。
基于工作任务准则与雇员用户简档的匹配，个性化的实时工作任务被传送到雇员通信器设备11b之一。所述数据集可被传送到雇主通信器设备11a，使得雇主可回顾该数据集以便把工作任务分配给特定一个雇员，或者可替选地，分析单元12a可没有任何雇主的干涉，而自动地将工作任务分配给特定一个雇员并从而向雇员通信器设备11b传送该工作任务。雇员的通信器设备11b可以是例如PDA、蜂窝电话、组合蜂窝电话/PDA、寻呼机，或分析单元12a或雇主可以向雇员传递信息的任何其它设备。
针对每个雇员的用户简档包括与雇员的特点有关的信息，例如个性、销售风格、着装、技能、位置、进度表或任何其它与特定雇员有关的品质或特点。而且，用户简档优选地可被雇主通信器设备11a和雇员通信器设备11b两者访问。然而，优选的是雇主通信器设备11a可访问整个用户简档，而雇员通信器设备11b仅仅可访问用户简档的子集。因而，雇主系统40a可访问的用户简档可能不同于雇员系统42a可访问的用户简档。
例如，雇主系统40a可访问的用户简档可包括与特定雇员有关的、对该雇员保持隐藏或不可知的特性。例如，雇员可以访问存储在其用户简档中的信息，如位置、进度表、技能以及由方框86a所表示的其它准则，并可被提供对其用户简档的访问权以按照需要更新信息。除上述的雇员可访问信息外，雇主可以访问雇员用户简档以输入和访问雇员特性，如个性、销售风格、着装和技能，并可以被提供访问权以按照需要更新该信息。
在另一实施例中，系统8a被用于基于货物运送者的实时位置来递送货物。更具体地，系统8a可被用来帮助在线订购产品的购买者以便快速地和有效地将货物递送到购买者的指定位置。
分析单元12a加载有雇员用户简档和位置。分析单元12a标识位于购买者位置附近的递送人(雇员)。雇员的用户简档的一部分可包括雇员的递送货车上的货物的清单。雇员不必知道位于其递送货车上的是什么清单，而仅需知道其递送目的地。
例如，购买者可能在线订购了新鲜的农产品。雇主可以将订购者的订单(工作任务)输入到雇主通信器设备11a中(其将该工作任务输入到分析单元12a中)，以便分析单元12a可以确定哪个递送人可以将特定货物有效地递送到购买者。同样，通过在线订购，购买者可以将其订单直接发送到分析单元12a，以便分析单元12a自动确定向购买者递送货物的合适递送人，并通过雇员的通信器设备11b向递送人发送该任务。而且，雇主更新用户简档以跟踪和监视位于雇员的递送货车上的精确清单、正被递送的清单以及可能从递送货车上被窃取的任何清单。
在又另一实施例中，系统8a可被用来将推销员派遣到招徕新客户的领域。例如，公司可能接收到来自销售主管的询问。有关该主管的信息作为来自雇主通信器设备11a的作业任务被输入到分析单元12a。分析单元12a然后基于存储在推销员用户简档中的信息来确定合适的推销员以发送给该主管。推销员的用户简档可包括诸如推销员位置、个性特点、着装风格或用于确定哪个推销员可能适合发送给该主管的其它属性等信息。
图4中显示的是依照本发明而构造的另一个通报系统8b。通报系统8b包括广播网络10b。除了广播网络10b包括个性化传感器网络48a(其具有与预定用户相关的地理区域特别相关的气象和环境传感器48b)外，广播网络10b和上面讨论的广播网络10在结构和功能方面相似。
例如，在世界的各个种植地区，气象和环境数据收集地点非常地稀少。在爱荷华(lowa)州，只存在少数的国家气象服务数据收集点。由于不存在便于农场主作出与其农作物有关的关键决定的气象数据点的密集网格，因此气象数据的缺乏妨碍了农场主。例如，当土壤温度数据、农作物水分数据以及降水可能性数据不可获得时，你如何知道160英亩大的土地施什么肥？
传感器网络48a包括临时性或永久性数据收集传感器48b，其例如可以安装在系统8b的订户或用户的10英亩到40英亩网格(grid)的土地上。每个传感器48b可以有与其相关的唯一空间范围，例如5英里或20英里半径。与每个传感器48b相关的空间范围可以由用户选择，并根据传感器48b类型和目的以及传感器网络48a的密度来指定。例如，如果用户对土壤水分感兴趣以便安排肥料处理，则与所选择传感器48b相关的空间范围可以设置在例如375英尺。在另一实例中，为了在地里播种，用户可能对土壤温度感兴趣，则与所选择传感器48b相关的期望空间范围可以是例如2000英尺。系统8b的用户包括如上面所讨论的用户简档，该用户简档补充有关于例如安装在用户土地上或用户土地附近的与用户相关的传感器48b的信息。传感器48b向气象分析单元12b传送特定地点的个性化信息，以便更详细的信息可以由气象分析单元12b在为用户产生特定地点气象信息时使用。
传感器48b可以是产生可用于预测气象、传送当前气象状况、传送当前环境状况和/或预测环境状况的信息的任何类型的传感器。例如，传感器48b可用于采样或记录此类参数，比如但不限于空气温度、湿度、降水、太阳辐射、风速和风向、土壤温度、土壤水分和/或土壤中的化学成分。
例如，用户可以把用户希望传感器网络48a监视的信息类型(例如温度、水分和/或土壤状况)输入其用户简档。气象分析单元12b接收来自传感器网络48a的传感器数据，并基于输入到其用户简档中的信息、通过用户的通信器设备50b向用户传送信息。用户也可以通过修改其用户简档来选择特定传感器以在任何给定时间监视特定区域。
此外，系统8b可用于向气象分析单元12b传送实时道路状况信息，以增强传送给系统8b的用户的气象信息。虽然传感器48b可包括它们自己的电源如电池或太阳能电源，但是传感器48b优选地设置在有自己电源的设备上。例如，一个或多个临时性和永久性传感器48b可设置在沿着道路的各个位置上，如车辆上、公路上或公路旁边、广告牌上、气泵上、蜂窝电话塔上或者公路或铁路旁边的牌子上、诸如UPS和/或FedEx的递送车辆上或者街灯上。如果传感器48b设置在道路上，则其可以设置在混凝土或沥青中。如果传感器48b设置在道路旁边，则其可以设置在例如壕沟中。传感器48b可以检测与道路、公路旁边的牌子、街灯或者诸如UPS和/或FedEx的递送车辆或者铁路车厢相关的例如水分、温度或任何其它气象或环境状况。可替选地，传感器48b可用来检测交通状况或与特定公路或铁路相关的任何其它状况。
例如，每个传感器48b可以设置得离最近的传感器100英尺，以便建立传感器网络48a，用于确定沿着公路或铁路的特定区域的状况。此外，传感器48b可以设置在各个蜂窝电话塔上，以便与塔相关的特定蜂窝电话系统的用户可以使用系统8b来访问各种状况。
每个气象传感器48a也可以包括比如GPS系统，用于确定这种气象传感器的当前位置，以便将该气象传感器的当前位置传送到气象分析单元12b。
本领域技术人员将认识到系统8b的很多用途。例如，当传感器数据由设置在沿公路或铁路移动的车辆上的传感器48a收集时，气象分析单元12b可向位于传感器数据被收集的地点附近的通信器设备11b传送这样的气象信息。因而，假设联邦快递货车位于离订户5英里处，从联邦快递货车上的传感器收集的信息可被传送到该订户。
根据以上所述，显然本发明很适合实现目标，并获得在这里提及的以及本发明所固有的好处。尽管已对出于公开的目的对本发明目前优选的实施例作了描述，但是将容易理解，可以进行对本领域技术人员而言很容易想到的并在本发明所公开的精神内实现的多种改变。
Claims (16)
1.一种用于向多个远离广播网络的雇员传送个性化实时工作任务的方法，包括以下步骤：
向分析单元输入雇员用户简档准则；
向所述分析单元输入工作任务准则；
匹配所述雇员用户简档准则与所述工作任务准则，以产生至少一个个性化工作任务的数据集；以及
基于所述工作任务准则与所述雇员用户简档的匹配，向雇员传送所述个性化工作任务。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述雇员用户简档准则被输入到雇主通信器设备中。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法，其中所述雇主通信器设备从由计算机、个人数字助理、蜂窝电话以及组合个人数字助理/蜂窝电话所组成的组中选择。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述数据集包括所述雇员用户简档准则与所述工作任务准则中的至少两个，所述方法还包括以下步骤：
雇主基于所述雇员用户简档准则与所述工作任务准则的匹配结果来向所述雇员分配所述工作任务。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述数据集包括所述雇员用户简档准则与所述工作任务准则中的至少两个，所述方法还包括以下步骤：
所述分析单元基于所述雇员用户简档准则与所述工作任务准则匹配的结果来向所述雇员分配所述工作任务。
6.如权利要求1所述的方法，其中所述个性化工作任务通过雇员通信器设备被传送到所述雇员。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法，其中所述雇员通信器设备从由个人数字助理、蜂窝电话、组合个人数字助理/蜂窝电话以及寻呼机所组成的组中选择。
8.一种产生个性化实时气象和环境数据的方法，包括以下步骤：
接收多个用户简档，其中至少两个所述用户简档用于标识通信器设备、指定位置以及与所述指定位置相关的预先确定的气象和环境传感器的标识；
分析气象和环境信息数据库以及来自所述预先确定的气象和环境传感器的传感器数据，以产生个性化的气象和环境输出信号；以及
向所述用户简档中标识的通信器设备传送所述气象和环境输出信号。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法，其中所述接收多个用户简档的步骤被进一步限定为接收空间范围标识符，并且将所述空间范围标识符与所述预先确定的气象和环境传感器中的一个相关联。
10.如权利要求8所述的方法，其中所述接收多个用户简档的步骤被进一步限定为接收环境标识符，所述环境标识符指示将由所述预先确定的气象和环境传感器监视的气象和环境信息的类型。
11.一种用于收集实时道路状况信息的方法，包括以下步骤：
在沿着道路的多个位置安装气象和环境传感器；
由气象分析单元接收来自所述传感器的气象或环境状况信息；
接收多个用户简档，其中至少两个所述用户简档用于标识通信器设备；
分析从所述传感器接收的所述气象或环境状况信息以产生个性化的气象和环境输出信号；以及
向所述用户简档中标识的通信器设备传送所述气象和环境输出信号。
12.如权利要求11所述的方法，其中所述安装气象和环境传感器的步骤被进一步限定为在车辆上安装所述气象和环境传感器中的至少一个。
13.如权利要求11或12所述的方法，其中所述安装气象和环境传感器的步骤被进一步限定为在广告牌上安装所述气象和环境传感器中的至少一个。
14.如权利要求11、12或13所述的方法，其中所述安装气象和环境传感器的步骤被进一步限定为在气泵上安装所述气象和环境传感器中的至少一个。
15.如权利要求11、12、13或14所述的方法，其中所述安装气象和环境传感器的步骤被进一步限定为在蜂窝电话塔上安装所述气象和环境传感器中的至少一个。
16.一种用于从广播网络传送个性化实时工作任务的方法，包括以下步骤：
将标识多个雇员的位置的位置信息接收到分析单元中；
将工作任务准则输入到所述分析单元中，所述工作任务准则包括预期目的地的标识符；
匹配所述位置信息与所述工作任务准则，以产生至少一个个性化工作任务的数据集；以及
基于所述位置信息与所述工作任务准则的匹配，向雇员传送所述个性化工作任务。
