Abstract

AGLOMERADOS DE POLìMEROS ESTIRêNICOS ANIÈNICOS BROMATADOS INALTERADOS E MéTODO DE PREPARAçãO. Apesar da fragibilidade de aditivos de grânulos livres do polímero estirênico aniónico bromatado, foi encontrado possível uso de processamento mecânico especial para fornecer aglomerados de polímero estirênico aniónico bromatado inalterados que tem um índice de bromo de pelo menos aproximadamente 50 % p e nos quais aproximadamente 70 % p (preferivelmente pelo menos aproximadamente 75 % p) dos aglomerados são retidos pelo menos em um padrão americano de peneira N<0>40 e não mais do que aproximadamente 30 % p (preferivelmente não mais do que aproximadamente 25 % p) são retidos em padrão americano de peneira N<0>5. Em incorporações preferidas tal polímero estirênico aniónico aglomerado é o poliestireno aniónico bromatado que tem um índice de bromo de pelo menos aproximadamente 67 % p, por exemplo, na escala de aproximadamente 67 a aproximadamente 71 % p. Preferido também aglomerados de polímeros estirênico aniónico bromatado em que o índice do fluxo de derretimento (ASTM D 1238-99) em 220<198>C, 2,16 Kg seja pelo menos 4 g/l0 min e preferivelmente pelo menos 5 g/10 mim. Uma outra incorporação desta invenção é um método de preparação do aglomerado do polímero estirênico aniónico bromatado inalterado, no qual método compreende: A) formando cadeias de polímero estirênico aniónico bromatado inalterados; B) submetendo a dita camada para refrigerar-se e forçar diretamente e descendentemente um fluxo de ar em uma correia transportadora porosa por meio de que as ditas camadas são quebradas em aglomerados; e C) causando aos ditos aglomerados uma queda em um classificador que remova as partículas dos aglomerados.
